My oven was damaged during shipment and was not accepted. Goedeker was very responsive and refunded my money in a flash. The delivery personnel were polite and understanding. The dishwasher that was in the same order was fine and accepted. I would recommend Goedeker to anyone and will shop there again in the future.
I ordered a refrigerator in June which included installation and removal of the old one. I waited patiently for 10 months in order to schedule the delivery, and they hired a company that doesn't do removal or installation. Now I'm having a hell of a time finding a company to it. Had I not waited so long I would have cancelled the order as soon as I found out they messed it up. Don't use these people. They're incompetent.
Purchased 4 Kitchen appliances. All items purchased were already on back-order and not available in the time frame given. Salesperson should have advised that items were on known back order so other choices could be made if desired. Once purchase is made, store where purchased from no longer available to discuss issues, must go through Goedeker's Customer Service department. Numerous failed call backs, 1.5-2 hours on hold to speak to someone.
Nothing special, delivered as they were paid to do. Service as expected, and now my rating is going down because I have to type 100 characters.
Small 4.6 Cu fridge arrived with 6 inch hairline scratch. Fridge also had cheap plastic plugs which were impossible to remove and dissolved while trying to pry out when swrichting fridge handle from right to left opening. Contacted Goedecker's same day as delivery day and waited weeks for a response. That response is we haven't forgotten about you yet waiting to hear back from the Manufacturer (SUMMIT Appliance). Finally heard back after a month with a sentence thanking my for my patience and to use a drill bit to remove plastic plugs. Unbelievable! Nothing about Goedecker's was pleasant or positive other than their call center isn't outsourced to Asia. Even if it costs more and doesn't offer free shipping, AVOD THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Pay more and do in store pickup or at least buy from the big box stores as they ALWYAS have a great return policy and customer service is much quicker at getting things resolved. AND NO, THERE IS NO PANDEMIC TO BLAME HERE, JUST INCOMPETENCE AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

I ordered a bed frame from Goedekers, when I received the bed the footboard was damaged. I wasnt sure if it was a manufacturer error, or shipping but I notified the company immediately. I talked to Tiffany who was great, she sent me out an email and told me take pictures of the damaged piece. I took the pictures and Tiffany and I talk via email and she informed me the product has been reordered. A day or two later I received another email from someone else stating that I needed to send the broken piece back before the footboard was sent out. I question this because I thought it was already being sent. I had to now wait until the broken piece was picked up and delivered to them before I would get my replacement. This process bothered me and I expressed that in an email to them. I later received the replacement footboard which came to me damaged as well. I had to wait until Monday to contact the company, Monday morning I got in contact with a male working who informed me I contacted the wrong department but asked for my information and assured me that someone would call me back to rectify the situation. I never received a call or email, I called back on Wednesday when I got through they informed me that the customer service agents where busy and they would have someone call me back. I opted to stay on hold because no one called me back the last time so I wait on the phone for over 30 minutes. When I got someone it was Tiffany again who help once again the process from before repeated wait to send the damaged piece back and then they sent the new footboard out which I received and it was not damaged and my daughter loves it. Wished that this process would have been handled better
Item was received in a timely fashion, but it was damaged. All dealings with the company have been pleasant, though. Nothing has yet been resolved, but I feel like it will be.
Saw good reviews before ordering a Lane recliner from Goedeker's. Ordered OCt. 30 and here it is Dec. 18,2020... no chair and have had very limit communication from them on this back order. It took a week before I got a call back from a manager in Customer Service. Getting through to CS by phone..."please hold, your hold time is 91 minutes." or 1 minute, or again 65 minutes... nobody picked up in one minute either. Asked to be called back when it was my turn... forget that, never happened. Got a call from a manager this afternoon (Friday) just to tell me it's back order, we are sorry, warehouse/factory behind in orders... they don; t have parts from China or S. Korea. (Lane Furniture is in NC -I think it's a remote location, not running water, electricity, or phones there). I can understand back order, but poor communication skills and customer support issues are neglected at this furniture store. Lots of lip service... they sure like to cash in on the credit card before the item even ships. Not sure they even have a store in St. Louis area. They hide behind "we are sorry. It's the virus"... they must wear Teflon clothes left over from Clinton. I cancelled order after talking with manager. No clue when the chair would be ready to ship or if it would. Go elsewhere. I see I am not alone in this poor communication bubble they have created for themselves.
I ordered a washer. It was delivered to the wrong address. I brought this to the Goedeker's customer service attention. They were very rude and said it was my fault.
I attempted to communicate this problem to Mr. Goedeker. He never responded to my communication. I paid additional monies to have my washer delivered from the wrong address to my correct address. I lost potential purchase savings in additional delivery charges.
We are loving the washer we purchased through Goedecker's, but the delivery process was much slower than advertised. We were told it would take 2-3 weeks to arrive, but the delivery service that was utilized had problems and it didn't not arrive until approximately 4-5 weeks from the quoted arrival time. Not normally a big deal... until you run out of clean clothes :) Otherwise, the washing machine itself seems great and it was a good price.
I called and placed a phone order for a dishwasher. I was told that the manufacturer had it in stock and it would be shipped soon. That was 10 days ago. I have received no emails at all - not to confirm the order, nor to indicate that shipping has been arranged and there is a tracking number. I sent an email to customer service but no indication that the email had been received. Finally, I called and held on for 20 minutes then gave up. I never received notice that I had an account but tried setting one up. It said my account was locked. Next day I got in by resetting the password only to see that the dishwasher was back ordered at the manufacturer. Again, no emails telling me that. I passed on ordering from Home Depot, trusting that Goedekers would get the job done. Now I'm thinking of disputing the charge with my credit card company and moving on. Can anyone give any advice on how to get their attention?
Order a Whirlpool dishwasher that was suppose to take 5 to 7 days, ended up taking closer to 15. The excuse was backordered from Whirlpool. We had to call Goedekers to find out status they never called or e-mailed about delay, Was disappointed when dishwasher got dishwasher home and found it was not a stainless steel tub we told salesman we wanted but a plastic tub. Will not do business with them again.
New stove came covered with dents and dealing with customer service has been tedious: slow to respond and still have not received any discount as requested.
I ordered a washing machine and it took almost a month to show up. I contacted customer service twice, and when I did the 2nd. Time they said they had no record of my calling before. I complained, about how long it was taking and asked what they would do to remedy it, cover shipping cost, cover the 5 yr. Warranty I purchased with it, neither of which they would do instead they offered me a 10yr. Warranty, which I still have yet to receive confirmation of. I would recommend oreding from somewhere else.
While ordering online through Goedeker's was a good experience, the product we purchased (a metal frame queen-sized bed headboard) arrived damaged and dinged. The product was heavy and was packaged very well with strapping tape and foam insulation. Unfortunately, after unpacking and removing all the protective foam layers, we found the product underneath to be heavily dinged in two areas. It's hard to imagine how this escaped the notice of anyone at the shipping facility. Returning the item would have been a significant inconvenience so we decided to keep it and position the frame so that the dings are less noticeable. We are sorry to say that we will likely not buy from Goedeker's again.
