We tried Global Gateway e4 (recently renamed http://www.payeezy.com/) after having a lousy experience with www.authorize.net. We have been using them for about 2 months now. So far customer service and ease of integration of their software has been a breeze. We went through Bank of America to sign up with them. Here is a contact at BofA who was very helpful to us. “Security from the Stone Age. Don't use.”

Their security protocols are very frustrating and take an excessive amount of time. As with most financial institutions you have to update your password every so often. No problem, but here's what Payeezy does. First you get a bogus email claiming that someone had change your login information and to contact them right away. So you get to the site, and of course your password doesn't work. So you click the "reset password" button, expecting an email. But THAT doesn't work either. All of this means you have to call them, and wait, on the phone, to talk to a person. Everytime I want to process a transaction it takes between 20 minutes to a half an hour. In that case why don't they take the info over the phone and process the transaction! Their website is useless. We have come very far in updating security protocols. Two Factor Authorization, Third Party Authorising Apps, email verifications, etc. All of which only take a few moments. The two things that are the most irritating are the untrue email, and the time wasted to verify over the phone. Not surprised at the poor reviews. Going to look for a new payment processor.

Why is it a man from there called me. Phone number came thru as "Unavailable" *******023. The mans name was Greg. Offered me 2.?% processing fee and would wave 2 large fees if I would sign up immediately. Told him I could not at that minute to call me back shortly. I then tried calling the number and it said: "Destination number not found. The number you have reached is not in service". Okay, I; m glad I did NOT give him my banking Route & account number. Too many scams going around at this time.

I am sitting on hold as I write this. I have been on hold for over an hour and a half. What kind of customer service is that?

Their service generally is not good. The fees are high. I would suggest doing more research and try another service.
