I applied this in dry weather with a clean roof. First rain it flaked off. Not a good material for RV roofs
Sprayed flexseal on last August and look at it today. The crap is not sealing anymore, all cracked and disappearing. What a disappointment.
Used clear flex seal spray around skylight, did not work at all still leaking when rains, professional roofer said this product does not work
The ads made it look like the perfect fit for my project. I could barely get any out of the tube and what I did wouldn't adhere to tile. Would not recommend.
I have used flex seal in the past with no good results. Just used the flex seal tape with even worst results on a simple hose that had a small leak and it still leaked even more. When they show a leak running from a pipe and put tape on and stop. But what I think is they turn the water off. I will let people how bad the product really is. I would post a picture but didn't want to crawl back under the commercial washer.
Stuff is absolute garbage it's not even a good spray paint. The ads are totally false. I tried to use it to seal a leak in my shingle roof I sprayed it heavily in the area and it did not work I also used it on my truck
Don't buy it doesn't do what they say it does I've added several coats and it doesn't help and it's a
I installed Flex Seal tape on my eavestrough downspout which was leaking at the joints. Temperature at the time was about 15 degrees Celsius or about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. It initially stuck very well. Two days later the tape was unwinding at each point where I had wrapped it around the downspouts and it fell right off at points where I had attached it underneath. There had been no precipitation during those two days. I contacted the manufacturer both through Amazon and at their website where I described what had occurred. I asked for a refund but received no reply at all. BAD PRODUCT AND BAD MANUFACTURER! Very disappointed since 10 feet of the tape cost in excess of $30.
I used the Flex Seal paste on my leaky gutters. Discovered that it needs to be applied ONLY to a smooth surface; it did not work on a rough surface. That being said, it did a FANTASTIC job on the smooth part!
PROBLEM- I sealed the container [according to directions], since I could not complete my work until a few days later. When I opened the container, the product had hardened. After writing to the company, they explained how the product could have been compromised at the retail location, and very generously resolved my situation beyond my expectation. As a result, I finished the job. They truly have customer service as a top priority.

I've been using two Flex Seal products on different projects around my house for over a year. I used it on PVC pipe { in a craw space under the floor} under kitchen sink that was a few centimeters shy of connecting to where it needed to be. I couldn't believe it actually worked! It 's been one year and it hasn't leaked. There wasn't space to just add pipe and I don't have extra money to pay a Plumber. I re attached the end of a gutter on my house { i cut it off because I was going to remove the whole thing but changed my mind after it poured rain for a day. Long story.} with Flex Seal liquid in a can. Still can't believe it's up there for a year now too! I like the Flex Shot in a can the best though. I have a small can of it and I've used it at least 4 different times. I never been able to do that with any other similar product because they dry up and ya can't use it. I've had this Flex Shot for a { you guessed it!} for year now and it works just as great as it did the day I bought it. I keep it in my house and not my garage so it doesn't get cold in the can. Awesome product!
I tried the flex seal spray and it didn't work on my gutter I cleaned it then sprayed it and it still leaks so no im not impressed with it
Bought 2 cans of flex a seal didnt seal anything 1 can of flex a seal rubber can dint work for any thing lost 50.00 dont buy anything from this company
I have a pipe leaking and bought the tape the putty and the spray it does not work as advertised! I spent more than $20 and I am not happy I am disabled on a fixed income I expect it to work I am very very unhappy with my purchase I will be letting everyone I know not to buy your product! Thanks for nothing!
I bought 2 tubes of Flex Glue Clear directly fom the company in January 2021. I never opened either tube until 2 weeks ago. Both tubes were rock hard and had no glue that could be used. I emailed the company twice asking for either a refund or replacement and never received the courtesy of a reply. I would never buy any of their products again.
Wife and I tried Flexseal on our motorhome. We did the roof and edge seals. WOW! This was the best $160.00 we've ever spent on repairs. After a several torrential downpours. NO LEAKS. Totally dry. Not one drip! Thank you Flexseal FOLKS... THIS PRODUCT DOES AS PHIL SWFT CLAIMS 100%!
Fallowed directions to a T on both tape and spray on and didn't hold either time. Spent more money on this product than it would have been to just buy a new one. Once again I fallowed the directions to a T
I used the flex seal spray to seal a basement door from water coming in. I used a whole can and it did nothing at all. Water still comes in!
Title says it all. I live in Hawaii and they were going to send me a replacement but then said they do not ship to Hawaii. How the heck did it get here in the first place. One jar was hard as a rock when opened, the second got hard after about 5 minutes... don't buy unless you are going to use it immediately.
IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEAN UP
Got a tub of it, used 1 time, followed instructions, hardened and 1-2 " thinks wasted...! Co. Was not very helpful to resolve! 1 time use only AT BEST.
Cleaned and taped a small section of our patio seam that was leaking. Waited for nice weather to make sure there was no moisture. Applied three coats. When weather reached In the lowered 90s, it cracked.
Answer: I would highly recommend NOT using anywhere around moisture. I experienced mildew growing on product.
Answer: No. Recommend you use eternabond sealant and then eternabond tape and skip this garbage.
