Bought a retro microwave in 2/23. Just about 3-4 days ago, rust started to appear on bottom. The wheels were picking up the rust and spreading it and the granules were coming off not only on the bottom of the glass plate, but all over the turntable area. No one would listen or help. This is a faulty product. C/S kept telling me no one would help and so did Celine from C/S. Even though warranty had expired, this isn't a part that was defective, its the unit. But Nobody cared. I just kept getting the run around.
I showed pics to Celine and she wasn't helpful and didn't care!

Don't Hold Your Breath

I made my first review in June of 2024. The saga continues. Galanz still has not repair, replaced nor refunded my money. My husband took apart the fridge/freezer combo appliance and found it had a defective fan installed in it. It was obviously defective as one of the blades was missing. There was a line made with black permanent marker that shows someone knew it was defective. In July of 2024 Galanz sent us an email claiming that they were refunding our money and that a check should arrive via the mail in about six weeks. Well we are in the seventh week and nothing has appeared. Oh and for good measure the other unit we purchased just died. Just had to throw out meat and other frozen items we had spent our hard earned money on. So now we have two useless Galanz appliances taking up space in our home. Never never ever ever again will we purchase this brand.

I purchased two upright Galanz fridge/freezer in February of 2024 thru Costco online. When they arrived, one was set to be a fridge and the second one set to be just a freezer. Three hours later the freezer was working great at the temp I had set it to, but the fridge still showed an internal temp of 72 degrees even though it as set for 35 degrees. I waited another hour with no change. I called Costco back to let them know that the fridge was a lemon and requested a replacement. Because we were within the Costco 90 day window the fridge was switched out with no problem. The replacement arrived and worked as it should have. About a month later we noticed a sound coming from the fridge. My husband wondered if the fan was having issues. It continued but eventually went away. Skip to the last week of May 2024. We went on vacation only to return and find the Galanz fridge was not cooling as it should be. I keep a thermometer in addition to the built in one inside the fridge. The built in thermometer read 35 degrees but the one I had placed in the fridge read 72 degrees. The upper part of the fridge was considerable warmer that the lower half. Warm enough that I had to throw away a lot of food that was stored in it at the time. I immediately contacted Costco only to learn we were outside their 90 day window, so they put me over to Galanz customer support. I was told I need to provide proof of purchase, take some photos and answer some questions, which I did all of the above and sent this information to Galanz the same day on May 31st 2024. The weekend came and went with no contact from Galanz. I then called them on Monday June 3rd. They apologized for no one getting back to us and would send our claim to their Concerns Department. As of today June 4th no email response, nor phone calls from Galanz on either fixing, replacing or giving us our money back on a worthless fridge taking up space in our home. It should not take this long for someone to figure out what to do and get back with a customer. I am thankful this is not my main fridge but just an extra one. I would hate to think what a position a person would be in if this was their only fridge. Will I ever buy from this company again, I think not. Being no responsive, making your customer be responsible for constantly contacting you just to get an update is not good customer service.

Fridge

I bought one of your green fridges for my dad 2 years ago and now it's not cooling anything for $180 that is unacceptable if something is not done I will put this on my podcast along with the other reviews so I expect to at least hear back from this company

It works ok but burns to darkly cooks food in the back. Not an even heat, apparently. My biggest complaint is the digital numbers on the front screen are starting to disappear. It is beginning to be hard to tell the temp or timer numbers. Soon it will be impossible so it will be mostly unusable. To the land fill. I hate that. The toaster oven before this lasted over 15 years. This has been 3, For example. 8 looks like a zero. So I can see the 7 before it so kinda know it is an 8. I won't buy any of the products again. I see on Amazon where I purchased it, there are the same complaints.

We purchased an attractive retro small fridge for beverages only
It stopped cooling within two years
It is IMPOSSIBLE to get a response from Customer Service which is clearly a misnomer for that department.
The local high end appliance dealers have told me that their products are usually substandard and the company is notorious for their lack of customer concern.
I have just purchased a much more reliable brand from a local business who not only inspired confidence, but takes responsibility for any issues even beyond the warranty period

Purchased Fridge Freezer in Oct of 2021 and worked good until the defrost fan started to make noise. Then no service and can't get anyone to talk to or that wants to service unit.
