G2A itself cannot be recommended at all due to the acceptance of fraud. I bought a gift card from a seller, who then provided me with a wrong code.
The contacted seller did not react at all and also the G2A support was not trying to help (only sending standard messages).
What make it clear that the marketplace is clearly not to recommend at all is when I posted a negative rating. Then magically the seller answered but demanded that I change my rating and not willing to do anything before.
And also that was completely ignored by the G2A support. They now send you to the police, in the hope that you give up then or after that give you more excuses.
Stay away from this market place

Their adverts say they offer a 30 day money back guarantee. THAT IS A TOTAL LIE.
When I asked for my money back their customer replied... HAVE A NICE DAY ****.
They are a foul mouthed disgrace and will NEVER REFUND YOU FOR ANYTHING SELL. Despite it never being as advertised.
Do not buy from G2a... EVER.

Gift card stolen
June 27, 2020

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! My Visa gift card was stolen. I gave this company all the information... email address, card number, screen shots of the purchase, dates, and they kept saying they have no record of the purchase.

One of the cheapest comparison sites for instant download keys on PC, Xbox and others - many keys direct from developers and some cheap loot boxes with some good games in.

Scam
March 10, 2020

This site is piece of crap. Bought windows 10 key which says in description that you can activate only 1 PC like this key is OEM. Tried to activate 2 PCs and it successfully activated. Tried to reach support. Support is saying prove with screenshots or photos. I done around 30 pictures where you can easily see that there's 2PC activated. However after few days key stopped working. Again i should prove that its not working and i cant anyways activate my OS. Support said to go to police and make report :D really thats how they working? They videos that money back guarantee is not easy as they showing!

So never buy anything from this site they are scammers and its waste of time to prove something.

I do not advise buying from them. You lose your money and get a regional copy of the game. They have slow support.

G2A allow sellers to provide invalid and previously used keys and then when provided with proof that the key is bad avoid their obligations under their supposed Money Back Guarantee by demanding that you report an international crime to your local law enforcement agent before they'll proceed with any sort of action. They are as bad as the dodgey sellers they host. DON'T BUY FROM THESE GUYS!

THESE CROOKS!
October 26, 2019

THESE CROOKS!

They automatically sign you up for some bullcrap $3/mo program when you make a purchase!

I purchased a 21$ copy of windows office and looked over the terms pretty carefully, to make sure there wasn't any extra stuff being tacked on. Despite my efforts, a couple of weeks later I get an invoice showing an "automatic" $3 charge for something I had NO CLUE about.

There have to be THOUSANDS of people getting ripped off daily by these guys. I haven't been this aggravated in a long time from a purchase. It's not so much the $3, it's the SLEAZY move that such a popular company would make.

If they are going to do something this dishonest from the beginning, what could happen in the future?

I have NEVER seen a company do something so sleazy, I'm ASTOUNDED a company this big is making such a massive effort to rip people off.

I will never buy from G2A again and there will be NOTHING that will make me omit this review and sharing the truth with everyone.

Kotaku recently revealed that G2A is breaching buyer trust and potentially committing a felony in how they are handling negative coverage of their brand.

https://kotaku.com/shady-market-g2a-offers-to-pay-journalists-to-run-pre-w*******979

Note: This is probably illegal and they will be facing legal action.

"The email in question, which Kotaku has viewed, was sent to multiple members of the media, including one who posted a screenshot of it on Twitter earlier today, sparking widespread discussion and anger. The email asked press to cooperate with G2A in the name of improving "our brand awareness and public image, especially among the indie and smaller game developers.""

They are threatening journalists to support their scam. An endless number of indie developers have accused them of selling illegal keys over the past 5 years. 5 years. They have done nothing to solve the issue.

Honey Trap
April 20, 2019

After much faffing around I finally get it! G2A is like AuoTrader not Amazon.

If you have any issues with a third party seller you are on your own. G2A cannot help.

Buying from G2A is fairly straightforward although their is some uncertainty around their sourcing of game keys.

Their is a subscription button and fee's for inactivity, also a transaction fee which increases the total price (on new titles, you'll save pennies, not pounds) so check each page before you proceed.

If your buying from a third party, check the reviews or your going to get burned.

Bottom line, buying from G2A direct is like buying any second hand product, some risk. If your buying from a third party the risk increases so you need to thoroughly check out the buyers reviews.

Compare prices as they are certainly not always cheaper. Summary, G2A is a honey trap, behind lots of fanfare and show its on par with online Poker sites a lot of effort has gone into dressing up a second hand site and hiding lots of hidden charges.

Bought a Malwarebytes 12month key, license expired after 3 month. Seller unreachable, G2A support is piece of $#*!. No refund, no new key. I had to escalate to paypal, then chargeback for my bank. They don't take responsibility for anything. You are not protected here! Purchase at own risk! Scammers, all of them!

Robbers.
February 19, 2019

I spent $44 on a code for a game. I received an invalid code. I contacted the customer service and they gave me the run around for 20 days before they told me to contact the police to get a refund. I would avoid anything to do with G2A if at all possible. IT IS NOT A SAFE MARKET

A lot of scamming
January 30, 2019

This site has many low sellers of high priced items but beware many sellers scam you after payment buy at caution! When its good its good but when its bad its really bad. Lately sellers have been way more lenient especially with the rating scale you know which to avoid.

Great prices
November 22, 2018

Great prices, selection can be a bit limited.

Mostly only had positive experiences with these guys.

There was once when they were doing a promotion that involved a checkout code and I forgot to enter the code at checkout and they wouldn't let me redo the order with the code because the order had already gone through and the keys had been sent, they also mentioned that they "sell at minimum profit", whichbut I understand and it was my fault. Plus, they were refreshingly honest which I appreciated all the more.
