“Classic scam if you do not read the fine print”

Classic scam if you do not read the fine print. It is a free trial though when you give them your credit card number and if you do not cancel, they charge you 80 bucks. In theory they had the right to charge me because I agreed to their terms when I bought the item is what they claim. It is still a SCAM. Stay away.

LEGITIMIZED SCAM.

I was thrilled to find a great product that seems to be endorsed by TV personalities. I was so convinced that it might be a solution to my weight gain dilemma that I signed up to try the product.

After putting in my info the site took me to a sign-up page to complete the order by entering my credit card info.

I got the confirmation immediately and waited for the product... and waited... and waited... after 19 days it arrived in the mail. It came straight from China with an invoice written and signed in Chinese language. Hence, I had to go back in my email history to find out how to cancel. I immediately filed with my bank a dispute because I got charged right away. It was only after I spoke with a lady from my bank that I clicked on the Terms and Conditions on the bottom of their site that I found out how to return it. So now I am waiting to hear from these people.

Complaints:
1. The product sample came in a small bottle; it was not the same packaging as advertised.
2. It came 19 days after order date which means in their 'Terms and Conditions' clause my 14-day trial period is over.
"When you order the risk-free trial of Power Cleanse your credit card will be charged only $5.95 shipping and handling. You will have a full 14 day free trial period from your original order date to decide if Power Cleanse is right for you. If you are enjoying Power Cleanse, then do nothing, and at the end of your 14 day trial period you will be charged seventy-nine dollars and ninety five cents for the trial bottle you received."
3. I got charged $79.95 because I did not call them to cancel the before the trial period is over.
4. Difficulty with making contact with Customer Service.

Recommendation:
Do not for any reason buy products online from websites you are not familiar with. If you do, you must read the 'Terms and Conditions' clause and be prepared for the risk you might end up taking which is definitely loss of money and sanity.

I signed up for a 15 day trial offer for 5.95 to try their product. The product did not even arrive to me in 15 days and then I was going on vacation. I emailed to tell them I would be on vacation and their product had not arrived so to please cancel the subscription, which was returned as "No problem we'll do that for you right away". When I returned from vacation a pkg was in the mail, I emailed to ask them if I should just have it all returned or if they were going to extend the trial period. No response... they then billed my account for full total. I again emailed them and told them to cancel the subscription, no response. I got another email saying they were billing another order to my account (more money now even). I emailed again asking for some info and who I might talk to regarding the product, I got a response saying "oh there is no phone number but you can send us your questions to this email". I sent another email and told them to reverse the second charge as I had cancelled before my vacation, no response on this of course. Another email today saying an order has been shipped. I have lauched an investigation through my financial institution. DO NOT BUY from these people!
