Mike at Fletes was very helpful and responsive in helping me find a shipping company that would pick up and deliver with the deadlines that I was facing. They were a little more expensive but considering the situation I highly recommend their services and will use them again in the future.
Fast easy service and very usable website with great pertinent information to be able to get bids and review them. Ability to chat with bidders to make sure they had the proper capabilities was really helpful before selection.
The experience with Fr8Star has been stelar. I don't know how well the shipper will execute yet, however, all was smooth with Forest at Fr8Star. He has been great in communicating and finding me the right shipper. Not necessarily the least expensive however someone we can count on. I am shipping a 2016 New Holland L230 with Bucket. Hope all goes well!

Things started out great. Load was picked up just a few days after contact. Outfit called and gave me a delivery time for the next day. Being 20 minutes late, I called dispatch. They got ahold of trucker and said it would be 9 a.m. At 9:30 he should up and proceeded to yell at me for calling dispatch. Come close to calling the police. Delivery man never called ahead and was way beyond rude.

Been 11 days supposed to pick up in six still haven't heard from them if they picked it up paid for a package that was supposed to be picked In six up and delivered in two or three overcharged me on the bill I want a correction for the cheaper package thank you

FR8Star is a marketing service that offloads your load to a broker, who offloads it to a carrier who picks up your load and delivers. This works ok but leaves the shipper with lots of questions, like who is responsible if something goes wrong? It's not a settling experience when the item you are asking to ship means something or is very valuable. This was further exacerbated by the FR8Star and the broker telling me in email and in over the phone that the shipper would call 1-2 hours before the pickup and drop-off. Neither one of these calls were made. That left me feeling very uneasy waiting for my delivery. In the end, everything worked out fine. However, I will try to find a better shipping solution in the future.

The website is slightly above average, but plenty of room for improvement.
I don't know how the shipper will work out, but have optimism.

Was my first time ever...after I got the dimensions and weight...it was easy to submit my load for bid...then bingo in seconds I got a bid...after that.they picked up and delivered in 2 days.amazing for 800 miles.and price was right.now im not afraid to bid at auctions in other states..

Logan was very helpful & called every so often to make sure everything was going smoothly. Didn't waste time on the phone which I appreciated. He's not a salesman--just there to make sure that everything's going well. At least that's how I perceived it. Overall just a nice easy experience. Shipping rates were much cheaper through them than anywhere else so I'll definitely be back.

Overall, my experience with FR8Star was great. If I could give one critique, I would say to please speak to the customers in layman's terms rather than freight company terms. The individuals that I dealt with were very responsive and helpful but I often found myself trying to figure out what they just told me. Other than that minor reference, my experience was great and I will definitely use FR8Star again.
First time user. I was very surprised at how easy it was to get fair estimates. My bill was $566, as I was quoted. Compared to a local (non Fr8Star) estimate I received which was $1,250. Definitely saved money. They were also much quicker than I expected. Picked it up one day, delivery the next. Great service over the phone and guidance through the process. Delivery person was helpful in unloading as well.
Worked with a very good logistics company Freight City Logistics and pleased with how it went from start to finish. Normally I do my own hauling but very happy I had equipment delivered. Also cost was very fair.

I bought an excavator in Missouri and needed it shipped to California. I awarded the transport company on a Wednesday and they had a truck there Saturday morning. The machine arrived on Tuesday morning! The driver communicated with me and everything went great
