I placed an online order well on time paid for a delivery in London on a precise date. The parcel was not delivered the tracking of DPD indicating the parcel was in hold at their depot because the cage was damaged. I contacted the client service of Fortnum&Mason asking to address the matter asap. The only thing they proposed was a new delivery a week later. No compensation offered for the inconvenience - not to mention whether the new date was convenient which was not. Incredibly poor PR; poor customer service bordering on incompetence. I forgot this was meant to be a birthday present, the respect of the delivery date was really important.
