Sunny is rude
April 22, 2018

I love this show, except for Sunny. I try to teach my children good manners but when Sunny eats with her mouth open and can not wait her turn to eat it is very hard to as they notice Sunny and her very bad manners. It is one thing to be a pig but she is a hog, and a rude one at that. Please give her a few pointers on being a lady.

I used to watch the food network to see chefs really cook. Make recipes that I would want to try. Other than a handful of shows, there are no real cooking chefs giving recommendations and their own recipes. I'd even settle for re-runs of old shows. In the beginning Food Network knew what viewers were looking for. They have lost their way.

Guy Fieri seems to be on all the time with some stupid/goofy game show. At one time I would watch Food Network all the time. Now I watch Ina, Ree, etc because the cook with recipes you can follow. Diners, drive-ins and dives is enough to make you immediately grab the remote to turn it off, Guys grocery games and the like suck. Even Chopped has gotten old. I now watch chefs really cook on PBS. They have the right idea. Get with it Food Network.

Katie sucks
December 11, 2021

She needs to go. She is absolutely annoying and the least knowledgeable one on there. How is she even still there? I can't stand her dainty stirring anymore or her stupid comments and. Orgasm like responses to stupid recipes

This is the worst cooking channel ever. I dont mind italian food, but all the cooks and shows are italian. Im sick of watching one chef after another teaching me how to make pasta with tomato sauce and basil five different ways. Im looking for variety and things to spice up my meals. Italian is super simple and requires little instruction. Most people can mix together a pot of ziti no problem, but i when i want to make pad thai, or peruvian where can i find that on tfn? Stop with the italian over kill and bring in more variety and culture. Bland bland bland!

I have been a huge fan of the real instructional cooking shows on Food Network and rhe Cooking Channel for so many years but have not watched these channels for the last two years since the real cooking shows were taken away and the powers that be replaced them with such utter nonsense that is unbearable to watch. What is wrong with the people in charge of programming and where are my favorite shows like Ina Garten, Pioneer Woman etc? Until you put real cooking shows on, you have lost a loyal viewer.

I love the FoodNetwork site. It is as good as the television show. I browse into the recipe page and become overly drawn to it. I copied the recipes and tried them myself. I feel like an expert at cooking already.

Lame
July 11, 2019

In the first couple of weeks it was kind of fun. Not any more. "Giada at home"? Give me a break. Cook offs? It' s become boring and unconvincing just like many other sattelite channels. A word of advice. Find everyday people who enjoy to cook simple and not exotic recipes and actually look dirty in the kitchen and not like they came out of the hairdresser' s. Thank God there's a remote control on the desk.

We all LOVED her on her own show - now she seems angry and bored on the The Kitchen - what's going on?
Don't watch it any longer! Maybe not a vocational certainty for her going forward.
Still like her - just not on that show.

Hello! I watch the cooking shows for new & exciting cooking and baking ideas. Though what I've seen and noticed is that not one person of a brown or different ethnic background has won an actual final or main heat in the cooking competitions. Whatever the excuse is the results do not out way the final wins. And after watching the cooking competitions it seems to be that only certain taste buds do not win or out due or out way the outcome that has been going on. A lot of favoritism with certain cultures has been noted and noticed. Just thought It would be nice to send an actual seriously noticed on the judges and poorly wins of a certain nationality, when there is so many other ethnicity's & cultures that deserved to Win in the finals. Also, there is no way that sipping on a lil water will allow anyone to quickly taste all that food and sweets and be able to judge that quickly? We need cooking ideas they bring families together just be fair like U know U should, cause your being judged too by, your viewers as well so continue to get better. And Sonny U alright stay positive & keep doing you, & U Go Girl! Thanx :)

Not worth watching
March 9, 2018

I used to watch this channel earlier on when they actually cooked and gave recipes. Now nothing but competitive shows chopped, baking wars, beat Bobby FLay. Worst cook in America this show is plain stupid. Nothing but repetitive shows. Get back to really cooking. I refuse to watch Giadia, I do not want heavy clevage with my cooking. I would rather watch PBS on Saturday for all day cooking recipes.

The show "The Kitchen"
August 14, 2017

It's just terrible, none of the cohosts seem like they get along off camera and are trying too hard to be nice. There seems to be a lot of animosity in the air and they certainly don't show how to cook some of their foods.

Your Show Sucks Now!
January 11, 2017

You had me every Saturday night in watching Paula Deen's party. Emille, Deb and Gabrielle. Whatever happened to Ina Garten. I will never watch your whos on Sugar Showdown. What's wrong with you. You had winning formulas. You blew it BIG TIME!

I love food network. However; I wondering why their are only 1 or two afro american food chef representing food network. I know that there are many afro american that have culinary skills to make the grade as one of your television chefs.

I love cooking shows that actually teach you something. I find it a shame that this channel no longer offers that. The daytime block is nothing but cupcake wars and the random guy fieri show. I will just have to look to PBS for quality cooking shows. The cooking channel is no better anymore either. On a positive the web site offers recipes from the channels past like Mario Batal or Jamie Oliver and many others.

What the hell happend to the food network? Used to enjoy watching cooking shows that would teach me to be more creative in the kitchen. Actuall people cooking with everyday ingredients. Now it's nothing but a joke! Who wants to watch idiots try to create a meal using squid and a pitchfork? Triple D isn't bad. I would like to visit these diners and try some of their dishes. Just don't expect to find the recipes on the food network just as guy promises. This weekend I just so happen to have some free time to relax and maybe watch a cooking show only to be totally disappointed after reviewing the schedule. Same 5 shows in a repeat rotation. What kind of professor does the programming for food network. I could accept reruns in the middle of the night when only the weirdos are still up. I expect better for weekend daytime programming.

More diversity pleaseeee
September 23, 2020

Food network is greatly lacking in minority representation. Where are the Asian and African American chefs? Why are the dishes steeped in solely Italian culture and white-washed southern culture. The appreciation of food and culinary arts entails diversity, and it is time Food Network recognize that.

When I was watching Next Food Network Star tonight 6/2418 I noticed Bobby & Tyler have on suits & ties and Giada is sitting there in a party dress or what was that with the add on sleeves? It isn't the Giada show it is the Food Network Star show. What if the female contestants dressed that way. Then at the end of the show tonight the next dress is blue with no shoulders at all! She is the only one that dresses like she's headed to a party! Is she doing it because she's single now? Is it for Shane Farley? What message is she sending your audience. Professionalism is important in your network's image.

Food channels for morons
February 20, 2017

I used to watch the stand and stir shows for inspiration - what to cook for dinner. The reality shows are boring and a waste of time. They must make the networks a ton of money. Bring back the cooking shows and start a different channel for the idiotic competitions.

Holiday show over kill!
October 21, 2018

This channel has turned into a waste of time! 36 days of halloween and then what? 40 day of Christmas? Its just stupid! And guy needs to stop yelling! And Giadda needs to swallow her fake smile and get back to real cooking! Real info! And a less hollywood approach! What a diisapointment, gets worse every year!

Tyler florence is my favorite TV celebrity chef. Last night, with his easy step by step recipes at my tablet. I am able to cook up a fantastic chicken marsala for my family.
You can choose your own personal favorite celebrity chef and make a wonderful meal for family. That's why I like foodnetwork.com so much. How cool is that!
Here are a few of my other favorite chef list
Rachael (Super star chef)
Michael symon (Iron chef)
Bobby flay (Super star chef and Iron chef)

Overview

The company's reputation is increasingly tarnished by customer dissatisfaction, primarily stemming from perceived declines in programming quality and a lack of engaging content. Viewers express frustration over repetitive shows, perceived arrogance from hosts, and a shift away from the original cooking-centric focus. Additionally, customers report poor customer service, citing unresponsive support regarding issues such as lost recipes. While some fans still appreciate select shows, the overall sentiment indicates a longing for a return to the network's foundational values of culinary education and inspiration, suggesting a need for significant content and service improvements.
