She stared at me like a lunatic, yanked my item from my hand, then proceeded to release her bowels on herself almost making me vomit before shoving my receipt at me while her dopey-looking bagboy seemed amused with her antics. DISTURBING SYMPTOMS OF LOW SELF-ESTEEM! I reported these *******@ssclowns to FOOD LION and the store manager gave me a call and invited me to come to the store to pick up a 25 dollar gift card.

This is my favorite supermarket in OC. The prices are affordable and the staff is friendly. Especially I like the discounts on some of seafood.

We've used this service before out of San Francisco twice, through a foodlion in Charlotte NC, first time delivery was free, I guess that's where they draw or catch you thinking you will do it a second time, well my son and I did,? Needless to say I will never ever do this again, sad to say you trust this service, it pays folks just to get to the store yourself and see what you can buy yourself instead of trusting these people to deliver what you ORDERED! Then coming to your place and telling you, oh, like what, the meat product you ordered you can't have or they didn't have it, but YOU ARE STILL BEING CHARGED A HEFTY WEIGHT ON YOUR DEBIT CARD! And then the audacity to say like you will be refunded in 7 days, what... why does it take that long, was not our fault, please don't get drawn into shopping

I shop at Foodlion all the time, because the stores are so clean and customer service is thru the roof.

Unfortunately this particular food lion is right down the street from me. Its within walking distance. Therefore, out of convenience, I have given this store one too many chances. The hiring manager is snippy. Most of the people she hires are of the same ethnicity and when I called her about a job opportunity she hung up on me before our conversation was over. On more than one occasion the cashiers were rude to me. One fellow tried to take a case of sodas from the grip of my two year old and nearly caused her to fall out of the cart. On another occasion, an elderly cashier gave me attitude when I repeated myself because I thought she was unable to hear me when I asked for a can of similac. I have bought moldy and expired food from there and there always seems to be only one or two cashiers working when there are long lines. Dont go here to the foodlion at atlantic square on battlefield blvd. Go to the one on bainbridge if you live near portlock in Chesapeake va.

Pros: Store is well laid out. Deli section has the best chicken around. Cons: Prices are too high compared to Walmart, not enough full service registers open, self checkout supervisor doesn't pay attention, stockers often block the aisles and won't move for customers, some items that I regularly purchase are not always in stock, customers routinely block aisles and refuse to move, insufficient parking.

I love Food Lion! The prices are very comparable with other grocery stores and you can download coupons to your Food Lion card. I absolutely use Shop and Earn every month! It's nice to get back money on things you have to buy. I tell everyone to get a Food Lion reward card, it's free and to go online the first of the month to activate Shop and Earn. I received $32 last month to spend on groceries!

Food Lion in Belhaven and Washington NC has great customer service. Over the years I have seen it improve immensely. What I fault Food Lion for however is not taking proper care of their employees. Employees have families to support. They do not need their hours decreased. They need to be able to count on a certain number of hours a week to sustain their family. Please give it some great consideration on a cooperative level and local level. I have worked for an electric company in customer service for 23 years so I appreciate excellent customer service. Belhaven and Washington has it. Employees really need a morale booster. When you take good care of employees you are taking good care of customers also. Respectfully Submitted
