Eugene Fodors wrote and published the first travel articles that spawned an industry. When travel became more popular, comfortable and affordable, Fodors Guides was the travel bible of choice. Travel recommendations are still hand-held in books... or delivered digitally on more immediate communications platforms. I would like to see a new category of travel sensitive to traveling seniors and their needs.

Dear all, I like the Fodor's site and used to buy their guidebooks. I was asking a few questions to some other users but a moderator didn't like my questions... Actually, I was enquiring about things that happened in the past (HK before 1997) which is no big deal, but a certain moderator decided that I was not complying with their guideline and suppressed my question and even threatened to ban me - using a very cold tone. I answered to him/her politely but got no answer - not professional at all. So I did publish my post again but the same moderator suppressed it immediately and banned me for seven days. I think he/she should have been more polite to one of Fodor's clients but I guess the need for exercing power was too big for this keyboard warrior. By the way, my posts helped the forum for being more alive and people actually answered them, proving they liked them. So... what was wrong with them? Nothing. Anyway, I decided to unsubscribe because I don't like to be bullied and disrespected but of course I find no way for doing it...
