The company displays a mixed reputation, with notable strengths in product quality and timely delivery for some customers, who appreciate the affordability and design of the jewelry. However, a significant number of reviews highlight severe issues with customer service, including long shipping delays, unresponsive communication, and challenges with order fulfillment and returns. Many customers express frustration over receiving incorrect or damaged items, leading to feelings of distrust. Overall, while some customers report satisfactory experiences, the prevailing sentiment suggests a need for improved customer support and reliability in order processing.

On the 9th March I bought a bracelet which was a gift. I was Sent the wrong one with wrong wording on it. Since then I have sent loads of emails with them just giving me a number saying they received it. I was so frustrated saying if they don't deal with this I will get legal advice. They wrote back saying they will send me the correct one, that they would get in touch with thier UK branch. But yes I am still waiting I still haven't recieved it I am so angry because I just don't know what else to do.
I ordered a bracelet and then took a look at the reviews after placing my order. I was mad at myself for not checking those first as this was my first time buying from this company. But, unlike the reviews, I received confirmation of my order and shipping info pretty quick. My bracelet came just a few days later and it's actually really cute! It was very inexpensive so I wasn't expecting one similar to one I paid over $100 for but I really like it and Look forward to wearing it. Might even buy more in different colors.
Ordered 3 bracelets 20 days ago, got response from my emails but no order. I should have checked this site before I ordered. (I've read everyone else's review sayin the same thing) lesson learned. I did call the phone number attached to the debit on my bank statement, *******702. Voicemail is full & no business intro when the voicemail connects. Damn shame. Oh well there is a place for people like this & it's not on earth. That's all I'm saying.
My husband ordered me two bracelets from this company on February 26th he received notice that it was shipped on the 27th and was accepted in Buffalo NY on the same day by the USPS but guess what USPS says they have no record of it being scanned, it was a manual override. It is now March 13th and no package and USPS says they will be investigating. Better Business Bureau has 96 complaints about this company and 63 of them are for non delivery.
Ordered an item and the company they use to deliver (Hermes) say its delivered but i never received it. Tried to contact them via email but no response. Filed claim with paypal who say as its been delivered they will not refund. Try emailing the company again but the do not respond. No customer service skills from this company! Do not use unless you want to lose money!
I ordered 2 bracelets that were originally priced at $39.99 and on sale for $9.99. I could not believe the poor quality. They aren't even worth the $9.99 price. This company is deceptive and I won't even return the junk, because it's not worth the postage that it would cost to do so.
JUNK!
I purchased six bracelets on December 7,2014 to give as Christmas gifts. Upon receiving my merchandise (which was received after December 25), upon opening the package, I was struck with a mildew-like odor from the inside of the package, in addition, the bracelets also gave off the same odor, The braclets were of poor quality; something described as a purchase from a kiddie vending machine. I found it peculiar that a return shipping label was not included; nor a receipt. I quickly returned the merchandise to the return address (which was located in Niagara Falls) that was posted on the outside of the package. To date, February 18,2015 I have not received my refund. This is a FILTHY operation.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I AM HAVING NO LUCK RECEIVING A REFUND FOR 2 NECKLACES I PURCHASED! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR ORDER AND PAYMENT BUT NO LUCK WITH RETURNING MY MONEY!
BAD NEWS! STAY AWAY FROM FLORENCE SCOVEL JEWELRY!
READ ALL THE REVIEWS ON THIS PAGE!
Wish I had searched for reviews of Florence Scovel Jewelry before i ordered a piece. I received the shabby, tacky hunk of junk and was sorely disappointed. No wonder they don't have reviews on their site. In particular, i ordered a bracelet with a stamped silver pendant. The silver-like pendant was scratched and smudged-looking, and no amount of cleaning and polishing revived it. The cheap plastic wrist band looks just that -- cheap and plastic. Fair warning to any who stumble across one of their many advertisements. Stay AWAY!
Ordered 4 bracelets and each one is cheap and nothing like the picture. I am now in the process of trying to contact them to get a refund but from reading previous comments it looks like it probley isn't going to happen. I definitely would never order anything from this company ever again. Its a waste of money. I guess that makes sense why there is no number to contact them.
I received my item in a timely manner. I got responses to my emails in a timely manner. My problem was with the QUALITY of the product and the DECEPTIVE practices of this company. The "original prices" are clearly false numbers made up to mislead consumers to believing that the quality of the product is higher. It is hardly worth the SALE price. The item I received is closer to cheap children's play jewelry than anything they describe. The charms on the item I received are also clearly cheaper and smaller than the one's pictured on their site and I suspect they are modeled on the arms of children to make them appear larger. Their site also popped up with a free shipping offer code that, when I attempted to immediately use, was not valid. When I inquired about it, they just said sorry, it's not valid and did not offer any resolution. I found another code online for 25% off but it did not offset the price as much as the free shipping would have. Deception left and right. Steer clear of this company! BUYER BEWARE!
You can claim your money back! As it turns out this company is scam I’ve let Barclay Card know and they are currently disputing my payment and created a fraud case. I think they already have a record of complaints from this company. If you are also with Barclays it’s worth letting them know – they might be able to get your money back. The jewellery is of extremely poor quality – it has a cheap look, very fragile, and does not look like on the web site at all. It even smells of mould. They want items returned to an address in the USA (even though the company is based in Canada) and their returns policy says that ‘we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned items’ – a complete fraud! You might have also been registered for a monthly jewellery membership without realising it – they’ll just keep sending you jewellery and you can’t stop it.
Beautiful pictures are taken of this jewelry. HOWEVER, it is cheap dimestore jewelry and not worth the paper it is printed on. Dealing with their customer service is another nightmare. Read the other reviews and then decide for yourself if you want to do business with this company
This is a scam! Between my sister & myself we ordered 7 items, 3 of them were already damaged, they arrived in plastic bags with 'made in china' stickers; all were Christmas presents for 3 girls aged 8-14 years. Both of the watches lost a few minutes every hour, one of them couldn't be altered because the winder fell off.The braclets fell to bits within one day.
I discovered this 'business'(I use the term very loosely!) is run by a couple of brothers; they avoid dealing with the many complaints from the customers that they've ripped off!
This cheap junk can be purchased in a dollar or pound store.
I ordered items on 19th Dec 2014 hoping to receive them before Christmas but didn't. I have received emails back from them saying their UK office were resending them but still haven't got them. Got an email today saying due to my items being popular they were now a "back order" and to compensate I was given a 20% code for my next purchase and my items would be delivered in the next 5 to 10 days. I would not recommend this company to anyone as I have had to continually email them for information, I also think it is a scam.
UPDATE: It is now March 2 and still no product, phone call email or anything else. I have started the dispute process with my credit card company. BEWARE... they have tried to charge my credit card 10 times since January (thank goodness is was a prepaid card and didn't have the funds on it for the charges, I have since cancelled the card due to this and have been reissued one with another number)!
Placed an order November 29,2014 with a promo of free jewelry, got cold feet when I received nothing via email to confirm. Tried to log back into the site and was unable so I sent an email cancelling. As of today JANUARY, 2015 I have a $120 charge to my credit card and no products. No answer to phone calls (ph: *******702 number on my credit card statement) and the only response to my emails was a standard "someone will get back to you" and nothing else. I want my money back! I will dispute with my credit card company if need be...
Ordered two bracelets, one with a retail price of $140.00 and the other with a retail price of $40. Both bracelets came in plastic bags with a sticker saying "made in China". The bracelet that was supposed to be $140, was nothing more thana bunch of plastic beads and cheap metal on rubber bands. The second bracelet was definately not sterling silver, and the leather band is so brittle that it looks like it will break with one use. Thank god i didn't pay retail!
I ordered the "daughter" bracelet on the 6th January, paid by PayPal, got an immediate acknowledgement, I received two texts on the 12th January confirming "out for delivery" and "it is in transit", and item received during the afternoon of the 12th January via Hermes.
It may be a matter of taste and my personal judgment of quality, but I am more than happy with the product.
I ordered two bracelets. I was sent a tracking email with a link that went to Google.
I waited and waited and asked them where it was. They sent me to a page saying it has been delivered. I told them it was not. I waited and waited.
I got in touch with PayPal and opened a resolution ticket
FSJ contacted me (surprise surpise) and said it was in transit. Great! They sent me a number (no link) I write back and asked for a link so I could track it myself. They wrote to me with the same page as the FIRST contact and said, we see it's been delivered.
I write back (very angry I am afraid) and asked if they were joking. I told them this is exactly what happened weeks ago and I have NOT received anything. I told them that they need to actually read what I put.
That's it. Even after sending another two emails I have heard ZILCH, NADA, NOTHING
I will be putting in a formal complaint with Paypal. All I want are my bracelets or a refund. I do not care what the delivery page says. I have not received any parcels from this company and they will not even sort it out for me. I even asked them to ask the packaging company to talk to me direct as I will sort it out with them (they will not talk to buyers, only suppliers) but nothing!
Florence Scovel is a huge scam, two brothers in Ontario. Amar Gandhi has a FB page you can inbox him and bombard him and he will make all the right noises for a while then block you, same with the business FB site. I did get a full refund after I threatened him and called him a charlatan and thief, and his mother must be really proud of him! Every one that has a FB account should post a warning on their status
Answer: I suggest you cancel your order and immediately (like right now) apply for a refund from PayPal or your credit card company. This is another way this scam of a company tries to hang on to your money without sending any of their junk jewelry to you.
Answer: It took almost 2 weeks for me and I received a discount voucher for the long wait. I had hardly any response to 3 chase emails. The website/Facebook page makes you feel it's a homely company making fairly good quality goods but in fact it's all made in China and you are truly getting what you pay for as nothing I bought was expensive. I doubt I'll use them again but ok for trinkets.
Answer: It did take a little time, but like Patricia C. Said... once you get it you realize that you just bought a cheap chinese peace of jewelry... the photographer did a great job making it look better than what it really is... lesson learned... lol
Answer: AVOID FLORENCE SCOVEL JEWELRY AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED Just found out that FLORENCE SCOVEL JEWELRY has refunded the cost of the sterling silver bracelet (stainless steel) Via paypal minus the postage costs, no contact with me or message, will never deal with this company again Trading standards will be alerted to the attempted con! THEY ARE STILL ADVERTISING THIS as a sterling silver bracelet but it is stainless steel, they have blocked any me from any further lines of communication AVOID FLORENCE SCOVEL JEWELRY AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED
Answer: Scovel is not worth the aggravation.
Answer: There is no phone number you can only reach them by email. info@florencescovel.com This company sells junk. Everything breaks and all they will do is offer to replace it.
Answer: As most of the rubbish they sell is made in China and comes in a plastic wrapper, I would say no. In addition, they have one of the worst customer service on the planet and if you have a problem they will not deal with it for months. Avoid these people like the plague and go to a proper jewellers that will give you value for money and the genuine article that the recipient will not be disappointed with
Answer: Return it
Answer: Don't expect to receive your order. Its a total scam, sorry but i hope you used Paypal
Answer: Look elsewhere for what you want unless you are a gambler. The either don't get the merchandise, it's junk or if you are lucky you get it and it is decent. I would shop some where else.
