The last week, I was texted by a recruiter for flexjobs.com. I asked for more information and when the position they described was identical to previous scam type jobs, I asked to receive no further contact. They proceeded to text me the again and keep pushing. I requested the legal name of the company they work for and now Im leaving this review to do my part in bringing to light these inconsiderate business practices. Hopefully more people do the same and this company's credibility will reflect their actions.

The system will look at your area, as well as for U.S. National jobs that can be done throughout the U.S., and jobs that can be done anywhere in the world. Once you run the search, you can filter the posts from the right-hand side of the site to select different options, like schedule and telecommuting level (100% to work solely from home). Also, once you have set up a specific search, you can save it on the results page in the upper right, where it shows "Save this search." I was able to apply to numerous roles, but I haven't heard back from any. While I appreciate how easy the application process has become, I'm concerned that its simplicity means companies are receiving hundreds of applicants, and my submissions are not even being seen. It feels like this shift has been a great revolution for companies that are hiring, but a significant disadvantage for job seekers.

It’s important to note that FlexJobs is not active on WhatsApp or Telegram (we only have a FlexJobs channel where we share warnings about this scam t.me/flexjobsofficial) and will never reach out to jobseekers on those apps.
It’s also important to know that if someone from FlexJobs (an official FlexJobs employee) reaches out to you, we will not keep the conversation on the social platforms. Rather, we’ll use the platform to make contact and will move the conversation to email. All FlexJobs emails will have the@flexjobs.com or@bold.com domain—it will never have any other domain attached to the email address. You should never give anyone any of your personal login information for email, job sites, etc. This is another common tactic of these types of scams. Additionally, any efforts to make contact through social media or email in regards to a job will also inform you of an open position we have and will direct you to apply directly on our site.
