The blueberry bushes are cute & awesome and arrived blooming. Pretty. The strawberry plants (4) I got today were a little punier than I expected, but healthy. Nice to see them shipped in real dirt pots. I'm happy with your products so far. I've also dealt with Stark Bros (good), Willis Orchards (OK until I had a problem with a shipment quality, then they told me to F*** off), and TN Nursery (yet to have an opinion since their stuff comes dormant).
Was looking for a gardenia without yellow centers. Spoke to 2 people neither of whom could help. Finally found the info/type I needed for myself and YOU not only sell them but have the best price. It's clear these women are working off site as children can be heard in the background. They insisted Seattle WA is in zone 9 but it's really zone 8 and this plants grows in zones 7 to 11! Just didn't find the support staff to be helpful at all.
I'm not expecting this tree to live. As stated bad shipping experience. I did plant the tree appropriately. No life so far, time will tell.
We paid well over 300.00 dollars for two azalea's that are no bigger than 8 inches in circumference and a tiny twig that's supposed to bear oranges by maybe by 2050. Seriously, a total waste of money. Please go to anyone local and pay 1/10th of the price for better quality. Lesson learned.
I really wanted to like them... the website was friendly and helpful and generated excitement about the prospect of buying new trees and shrubs, the ordering process was easy, I was kept informed about the status, and when I got these sad broken trees and shrubs as my purchased product, they DID send out a replacement.
None of this changes the fact that I received scrawny, broken, dead items - even the replacement was dead and broken! So I spent 3-4X what a local purchase at a big box store or nursery would have cost (and for larger and much healthier plants). It's a neat idea, but it just doesn't work... you cannot buy trees and shrubs via mail (because, obviously, shipping and cost considerations).
So I think the business process and performance (website, ordering, customer service) are setup well - but they do not have a workable product to sell, so the buyer ends-up disappointed. I regret wasting the few hundred dollars that I did, but I also admit it was an experiment to see if this worked (can you really buy trees on the web).
It doesn't. Buy local.
PS: I will add that Fast Growing Trees curates the reviews on their website to only include positive reviews with maybe one or two "mildly" critical reviews. I consider this to be disingenuous and misleading to the consumer, which makes me angrier than anything about my service experience - and why I took the time to write this honest review here.

I bought two Burning Bush shrubs (both arrived smaller than the size of my hand), and two (including replacement) Curly Willow trees (both of which arrived scrawny, dead, and broken; mere twigs). Nothing I received was even worthy or large enough to plant in the ground, so they just wend into the compost pile.

I knew this was going to be bad. I ordered on June 5th. I sent a message, more than once, asking a question and didn't get a response. Tried calling multiple times. After a couple of weeks, I sent another trying to cancel. No response, except stating it had shipped. It hadn't. I sent another in regards to canceling. Then I get this today. $184.00 for this. They threw the fertilizer I bought on top of 2 plants they crammed together. I haven't fully looked 2 of them over, but the petra leaves are eaten up also. See photos.
Never again. Poor plants. I have to think the reviews are fake.

After purchasing a warranty to receive store credit for three plants that died within 1 month of delivery, Fast Growing Trees still has not replied to my messages. I paid additional fees to receive a credit for the dead plants - a refund is not offered. Fast Growing Trees has not indicated the credit is available to use. So far, I am out over $300 for dead plants with nothing to show for it.
I still have not received a reply to my messages. No customer service.

We received the tree with a stem. It looked very fresh and healthy but it still has yet to even bud. We have had this tree for about two weeks. It doesn't look like it's going to be growing any further. One of the buds already fell off. We have multiple trees from many other growers and they have grown well in our backyard. Pretty disappointed we were excited to grow our first avocado tree.

Trees arrived late and cherry and apple tree was wilted and I called and was ask to water and planted them soon after, still not looking good after week of planting and called and again was told to wait it out, 2 weeks into planting they still look wilted and cherry tree leaves turning brown patches. Other shrubs was so small and fig tree with so small and mulberry tree looks very faint and not promising. Very disappointed

Unless you want to spend top dollar on practicing your skills of bringing plants back from the brink of death, do not order from them. They will not refund you and they do not stand by their products.
3 houseplants squished, broken leaves, yellow leaves, ill fitting pots - or none at all even though we paid for them- and scorched leaves. 1 plant didn't arrive at all.

The height of 24 trees I ordered is not 6 to 7 feet because they became unavailable. Then we agreed on 5-6 feet and they again became unavailable. So at the end I had to settle to 4-5 feet height. Each cost $139.00 plus shipping. A well known local nursury sold me additional 5 4-5 feet italian cypresses for $44.00 each. I think this is a fraud.
Because the website makes you believe the trees are in stock when reality is they are not.
Italian cypress is my favorite out of all the available cypresses.

I ordered a bloodgood japanese maple. It arrived decently packaged, but the tree itself was in horrible condition. I've been trying to nurse it back to health, but no avail. Its leaves, which arrived about 30% dead from the ends, are worse. It's mind-boggling that a company would send a customer a $139 tree in such bad condition. I will never purchase from this company again.

Trees are much smaller than what they said. Soils all felt off of the roots. It was dead within a week.

I received my order quickly, and love them! The banana tree did have some damaged leaves, which is to be expected based on other reviews. I cut off the dead leaves and within days had another big leaf sprout! Since then, it's popped out two more. It really does grow fast! It arrived almost as tall as me, and I hear they can grow up to 10-20 feet. I will need a ladder to get the bananas lol. This was planted in the ground. As for the windmill palm, it arrived perfectly. It took me a couple weeks to get it planted and is doing really well.

Our trees arrived with their top half brown and most of them just a few sticks in the air. We purchased 40 trees total, 1/2 4-5 ft and the other 1/2 5-6ft. This was a big investment. I contacted the company when the trees arrived and their response was this happens during the first frost'. They didn't experience a frost in shipping, I don't think they even read my concern. I bought insurance, going to give it a month and then contact for full reimbursement because I wasn't sold healthy trees.
First tree came in terrible condition, did not make it. Asked for replacement- out of stock. "Tree Expert" sent me a ice cream banana, not cold hardy - not what I ordered. Next, they sent me a cold hardy
Banana that arrived on life support.- RIP-strike three, I gave up and just requested a refund. After enduring three weeks with no results, I was told my windfall was $17- what a deal!

Tree spent 2 weeks in a box and to no ones surprise, it arrived dead. Shipping standards are extremely poor. You'd think that a company that specializes in selling plants would know better. I repeat, a living thing that needs sun and water. 2 weeks in a box. Almost feels like a scam. Waiting on another tree to be sent QUICKLY (do not want to be responsible for killing another tree because of their incompetence), or a refund. Currently have no confidence that either will happen so I have the BBB and a cc transaction cancellation on standby.

My tree arrived almost three weeks after it was shipped. It sat in Hutchins Tx lost for days. After not receiving it, I called you to tell you I hadn't received it. You quickly shipped me another free of charge. Well they finally arrived both at the same time. Needless to say both dead as a door nail. I planted the second one in the hopes it would revive. It still shows no sign of life.
Once, I had not received my tree I contacted customer service. They were courteous reassured me they would quickly ship another as a replacement both arrived dead and dried out.
I chose you because I especifically wanted a purple crepe myrtle tree. My local nursery had no trees. However what I got from you sure didn’t look like trees. They were small bushes which I could have gotten at my local nursery. I have pictures of both please at where to send them

I purchased five trees, two of which were damaged with multiple broken branches and one with the leaves in very poor condition. I have tried to bring the tree on which has what looks like either frost damage or disease and it remains the same. The other two broken trees were replaced, one of which looks good and the other arrived again with broken branches.
