Jersey Assurance - Assured to get replacement you don't really want

Here's my full review and response from fans edge:

Fansedge has this jersey assurance program in case a player gets traded. I had a Kristaps Porzinigis Knicks City Edition jersey, but he got traded, so I took advantage of the program. However, they sent me back a Frank Ntilikina Icon Edition jersey, because they had no City Edition jerseys in stock. Basically, I had to settle for a jersey that I really didn't like. This week, a Kevin Knox City Edition jersey was made available. The whole point of the original purchase was to have the City Edition - it's unique. Fansedge won't budge on letting me switch out the Ntilikina jersey for the Knox jersey. I haven't even touched the Ntilikina jersey - still has all the tags. Now I'm stuck with an Icon Edition jersey that I really don't care for. $110 down the drain, especially for someone who purchases from them, fanatics, and nbastore.com all the time. Never again. Will take my business to Amazon.

Your 20% coupon didn't solve anything. My original order was for a City Edition. How could you have replaced it with another City Edition if you didn't have any in stock? I had to settle for that Icon Edition which by the way is too tight. You offered a comparable City Edition jersey on your website after the fact, way past the 14 days that Porzingis was traded. Put the City and Icon editions side by side. Are they the same colors? No. Does the Icon Edition have cool skyline graphics on the side panels? No. Does the Icon edition have cool orange and blue ribbing at the neck and arms? No. That's my point. Your policy is flawed. Instead of accommodating a loyal customer's simple request to get a SAME EXACT STYLE replacement jersey, now you're going to lose a customer. If I could give your company ZERO stars, I would. Take a lesson out of adidas.com's customer service - they know how to take care of us. Buyers beware... don't buy from fans edge. There's a price to pay. Better off at Amazon. It's pretty obvious. You have 67% bad reviews and you did nothing to help my situation. Word of advice, bend the policy rules a bit, especially when you don't have an exact replacement in stock. Do you really want bad reviews all over social media?

Upon review of your order, the Jersey Assurance Policy is to exchange the jersey if the play was traded in 14 days or 90 days of having the jersey. However, you can only replace the item once. Initially when you received the replacement you contacted us about it being too small and wanted to change it for another icon jersey. At that time you were advised that it can not be exchanged again nor could it be traded for a larger size. They advised you at that time that if you needed a larger size that it will have to repurchased in the correct size. Because it was a free replacement, there are no funds to issue back if it were to be returned. For your inconvenience, I have emailed you a coupon code to use towards your next purchase. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!

Wow if I could choose a zero, I would have. I had a bad experience in the past with shipping taking long. I said then, I would never go back... Why didn't I listen to myself! And the tons of negative reviews. My mom wanted these Ravens slippers they had so bad that I went ahead and ordered, this time I took a screen shot of my confirmation screen, everything looked good, Then I received a call from the bank asking if I made a purchase with this company, they said they were trying to Bill with the WRONG BILLING ADDRESS, so I went and checked my email confirmation they sent and yes they had a wrong NOT EVEN CLOSE, ADDRESS FOR SHIPPING AND BILLING. I called fansedge.com. It had not even been 24 hours since I placed the order. I told them they had the wrong address and they said it had already shipped and I would have to wait for it to get delivered to the wrong address and if they received it back then I could have it replaced or refunded but here's the kicker, (ONLY IF THEY GET THE PACKAGE BACK,) so I asked what happens if whoever lives there decides they want to keep it, then what? I was TOLD IF it's stolen, then there wouldn't be anything they could do, other than, I file a police report and then ask fansedge.com IF they would refund and then only if my order is eligible? I asked what makes it eligible? She could not tell me, she wasn't sure. Ok so I panicked, and called the post office for the wrong address, they said they would hold it, they asked for my tracking number, I found out that fans edge.com doesn't ship thru the usps. I contacted the shipping company they were great, they said they hadn't even received the package yet, but they had no problem after verifying my identity, to change my address, they transferred me back to fans edge.com the shipping company supervisor gave me her name and said let fansedge.com know I spoke with her, at the shipping co, and they said since the order WAS able to 'be changed all fansedge.com had to do was fix it on there end in the computer. MY RESPONCE FROM FANSEDGE.COM WAS ( it would take 5-7 business days for the request to even get to the correct department. That's 5 days past the original delivery date. I called the shipping co back and they were amazing, they said they will be able to fix for us. They to, couldn't believe the seller wouldn't change it. I pray it works, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me I will never shop there again, and I will let anyone know who asks that this company is not worth the sales. If this doesn't work, I'm out 175$ and they don't care.

DO NOT BUY FROM FANSEDGE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I RETURNED AN ITEM TO FANSEDGE USING THEIR OFFICIAL RETURN LABEL (WITH TRACKING NUMBER) THAT WAS INCLUDED WITH THE PACKAGE.

WHEN I TRIED TO TRACK THE PACKAGE A FEW DAYS LATER, THE POST OFFICE TOLD ME THAT THIS PACKAGE CANNOT BE TRACKED BECAUSE THE RETURN SHIPPING COST WAS TOO CHEAT... AROUND 50 CENTS... AND THAT IT WOULD TAKE 3 MONTHS OR MORE FOR THE PACKAGE TO ARRIVE BACK TO FANSEDGE.

THIS COMPANY IS VERY VERY DISHONEST. THEY CHARGE YOU ALMOST $6 TO RETURN A PACKAGE THAT THEY SPENT LESS THAN $1 TO SHIP BACK TO THEMSELVES.

NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR 3 MONTHS OR MORE FOR THEM TO RECEIVE IT... THEN ANOTHER MONTH OR MORE TO GET MY REFUND. ALMOST 6 MONTHS TO PROCESS A RETURN AND REFUND THE CUSTOMER.

DISGRACEFULL AND CALOUS! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FANSEDGE!

THIS IS SO DISHONEST AND FRAUDULENT.

Not worth the headache

I ordered an Ezekiel Elliott jersey for a Christmas present. I don't know what came over me, but I didn't research the business before I placed the order. The next day I decided to read reviews and I have not found one single positive review, so after reading all the negative reviews I decided to cancel my order because saving a few bucks wasn't worth the risk of not getting the item in time etc. I call the customer service number and the lady is very nice, give her all my information and she asks what she can do for me so I begin to tell her I want to cancel my order, she puts me on hold for about 3 minutes then comes back on the line and says that according to their system they are out of stock of the item I ordered (it says on the website that its in stock) so that they have already cancelled my order and are now just waiting on verification or something about a refund but I have yet to receive any email confirming this, I asked about a cancellation email and she said its automated and I should receive it within the next 24 hours. She said I should be fully refunded within 2-10 business days, so you can bet I will be calling every other day, if not every day. Two things that didn't sit very well with me while talking to this CSR, she made a comment about their computers/system not working properly and then the whole ordeal about my item being out of stock when it says differently online, this was kind of a red flag to me of the battle I have to come because many of the reviews that I have read have complained of the same responses during their conversations with a CSR. Lets hope this is different and I have a quick and easy refund process seeing as I spent over $150 on one item.

**UPDATE 11/20/16**
So I originally placed my order on 11/16 and called on 11/17 to cancel, was informed it was already canceled and would be receiving a refund. I called again on 11/18 bc I still had not even received an email saying my order had been canceled, the CSR informed me it came up as canceled bc it was out of stock (even though it still says in stock on the website) and that they had already released the funds back to my bank. So I was going to give it until Monday 11/21 if the funds hadn't showed up yet, but when I checked the morning of 11/19 my full refund was credited back to my card. So thankfully I didnt have as much trouble as others. Still very bothered that the item STILL says 'in stock' on the website when they know that it isn't, its sold out everywhere, even the pro shops don't have them (I've called every single one and only one store had some and they were two size Smalls)

THE WORST PLACE EVER

Wow. I can't even sum into words how scammed I feel by FansEdge. I sincerely wished I had looked at these reviews before I ordered.

I placed my order on October 17th for 4 baby items. I was so excited because I wanted my newborn to be a Tarheel mascot for Halloween. I was promised 5 business days for shipping, yet here I am today, November 3rd and the order has yet to be shipped. Now one thing about baby clothes, the baby doesn't fit in them forever! I have called into this place THREE times to cancel my order. Once on 10/25, once on 10/29, once on Nov 2nd. Each time, the rep gives me a different response. The first rep told me my items were delayed because of the hurricane but PROMISED they would be shipped that week. I told them I still didn't want the package anymore since it wouldn't be here for Halloween. The rep told me he couldn't do anything about that because the order had already been processed. Okay, so my order has been processed but has not been shipped out yet. Why? Why can't you cancel my order if it's not being sent out to me? So I call back at the end of the week since I still have yet to receive a tracking number. This rep tells me the same thing but says they will refund the shipping back fee. Oh thanks. Just what I want. My $5.99 refunded yet I still have to make a trip to FedEx with my newborn. Perfect, that doesn't inconvenience me at all. They also offer me a $20 credit to my account. I laugh thinking how I will never use this scam place again but whatever. Next they tell me they are going to upgrade my shipping for when the items ship, BUT when they go to do it they can't. The rep says OH THAT'S A GOOD THING! That means it will ship soon. Again, in my head I'm laughing at this company. I feel bad for the poor reps that work for this place because I'm sure they deal with some irritate customers that feel as scammed as I do. Okay, so I call yesterday for the last time and talk to a rep for about twenty minutes. I let him know how disappointed I am (for the record, he was very compassionate and I apologized many times that he had to take my call since I knew it wasn't his fault) but I needed to try to cancel it again. This time he told me that my order would be here by November 4th. I said how? He said that's what's on the notes. Well, it was November 2nd and they told me the warehouse was in Florida where the hurricane was and I live in California so I can't see how it would get to me that fast. He then backtracked and said it would ship out tomorrow (which is today Nov 3rd) and be here between 3-7 business days. LOL. Okay, now changing his story. He PROMISED once again that I would get a tracking email TODAY (Still no email). I threatened to get my bank involved and the BBB since this is clearly happening to other people as well. Then he changed his tune and started offering me more money, which he also laughed about with me saying how I would probably never use them again. Yes, Chris, you are RIGHT, I will never use this place again and I will continue to let people know that they are being scammed if they use this place. Trust me, if I don't get a shipping email today, I will report this as fraud with my bank and I WiLL contact the BBB. Hopefully someone can refund my order today since it STILL has no shipped yet or things are going to get more messy.

THIS PLACE IS THE BIGGEST SCAM ARTISTS EVER. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

This site is a complete disaster!

Placed an order for 2 MLB hats. Both said (and still do) "in stock", "usually ships within 3 to 5 business days". Created an account so that it would be easier to track etc. Received my confirmation email stating these items will ship within 5 business days. Really? Because that was Sept 28th and today is Oct 12th... FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND COMPLETE LIES! I tried the live chat option... That was a joke. Forgot how easy it is for someone to not help you when you can't see them or hear them. So I then called two days later on Oct 5th and was told that the shipping would be expedited and I was given a ticket number for this. One week later not only have the hats not shipped but the customer service rep could not give a shipping date. She was really nice just the same as the first rep but nice doesnt get my order to me. I ordered these for gifts more than three weeks in advance. You would think that would have been plenty of time since everything they post and sent to me says "this item ships within five business days". The rep wanted to do something for me and was placing a $10 gift card under my account. Is this so Because your rep last week said the same thing and that a $10 gift card would be put under my account but its not there. Why would I use $10 or even $20 toward my next purchase since this was my first experience with you guys. I would be a glutton-for-punishment and a complete idiot to order something from Fans Edge ever again. I cancelled the order and was told that it would take 2 to 10 business days for my refund. Nice, considering I placed the order Sept 28th and you billed my card on Sept 29th... Oh and why have I been calling so much? Because you can't track your own orders when they don't show up under the account you have created. Its like the order number they give you doesnt exist no matter how you search for it or login. Which I now see is a trend when looking at other reviews. I wish I would have read the reviews ahead of time so I could have avoided them like poison ivy. Please please PLEASE do not place an order with these guys unless you're completely into frustrations and wasted time! I picked one star because the reps were so nice... but like I said... nice doesn't place my order at my door step...

I placed my order on 12/12, and it was guaranteed to arrive before Christmas. However, i started receiving vague emails last week about them not being able to get a shipping confirmation for me -- whatever that means. I contacted them on 12/21, and i was told that my order would soon ship, and that they would send it via expedited shipping, and that i would for sure receive it before Christmas.

On 12/22, i received an email stating that my order had shipped, but it also stated that i would not receive it until 12/29 -- a full SEVEN days later, and well after Christmas! Fans Edge completely lied to me about shipping it via expedited shipping after i made it crystal clear to them that the order is a Christmas present, and i have to have it before Christmas. They had time to get it to me had they expedited it as they promised, but they did not.

Fans Edge lied to me. Do not do business with this company. It is inexcusable for a company to lie to its customers. Avoid them. There are far better companies out there to do business with -- companies that actually care about their customers and who honor their "guaranteed" delivery.

***UPDATE***
As you can see, Fans Edge responded to my initial review. Apparently, they have given me "store credit." Store credit is worthless to me. As i stated in my original review, i will never do business with Fans Edge again. Ever. Period. What i didn't put in my initial review is that i had actually ordered two shirts. I placed the order at the same time on 12/12. One of the shirts arrived a few days later. Once i receive the other shirt AFTER Christmas, i will then return BOTH shirts. I will demand a full refund for both shirts.

Your company lied to me. You promised me expedited shipping to get my shirt before Christmas, but then did not follow through with it. You promised it on 12/21 and shipped the shirt on 12/22. Today, 12/23, you sent me yet another spam email, and this one advertised free overnight shipping, stating that if an order is placed by 12:00 noon, it will be delivered on 12/24. If your company is offering that, then why didn't you send me my shirt today? Why are you offering me worthless store credit? I made it perfectly clear to your company that i wanted the shirt before Christmas. You still advertise the ability to deliver it to me before Christmas, but yet again you REFUSE to do so.

There's a bunch of reviews on here from people complaining about your refusal to ship their items in a timely fashion as guaranteed. How do you think it makes them, and me, feel when you then spam our email with offers of guaranteed delivery on the 24th? Shouldn't we be the very first priority to get our orders to us? You still claim to have that ability, yet you refuse to honor your commitment to us. Instead you offer us store credit? That's pathetic.

Here's what i want you to do. After i return both of my shirts, i want a FULL REFUND -- every penny! After that is issued, i want you to completely remove all traces of me from your system. Do not send me any more of your spam email. Is Fans Edge willing to do that? Are you going to follow this through for the next week or so while i wait for my order to arrive, and then are you going to ensure that i receive a refund, and then are you going to ensure that i am removed from your database? That is what i want. Not some worthless store credit. Since you can't seem to get shipping right, i doubt you can get this right either.

***UPDATE #2***
I finally received the rest of my order yesterday. I promptly turned right around and mailed it, and the rest of my order, back to Fans Edge. Now, we'll see if they really they do provide me with a full refund, and then delete me from their database. Their return rules state that they charge $5.50 for return shipping costs. I demanded that they refund that amount too. We'll see. I just want to go back to the position i was in before i had the misfortune of crossing paths with Fans Edge on the internet. It's not just us posting here either. Their very own Facebook page is filled with the same type of complaints with the same employees coming along behind offering store credit to try and appease the angry customers.

Fans Edge is a joke. Do not do business with them. There are many other companies out there who will treat you right. Avoid Fans Edge.
