I was lured in this site wit promise of free online quote.
It took all my info then redirected me to multiple sites asking the same info again
Its a scam

This company and all of their pseudo names have been bombarding me for weeks with their spam mail. When I contacted the ONLY phone number they have I was told to "unsubscribe" but we know that only means that they will sell my information as an active email. The cowards only hang up when I asked to get a number or email for a corporate executive to stop the harassment. It is no wonder they have one star reviews on every site I have seen them on.

All it does is send you into this idiotic endless bunch of websites that keep demanding the same information I already entered!

What a dumb idea!

I have tried to contact a supervisor for inappropriate and insensitive advertising based on personal information and have failed each and every time. I have spoken to 10 individuals who have terminated my call when i request a supervisor. In all attempts to call back--i am informed that there are no representatives available to take my call (1:45 EST). The advertisement was unsolicited online-- making me suspicious that they have purchased personal information.

Took the survey only to be directed to another website which then connects you to someone who barely speaks English named John or Jane smith (hahaha yes… they think we're that stupid) asking for more detailed information blah blah blah, click. Just hang up. Better yet, spam your whole folder of this website

I was shopping for insurance, and was trying to get a quote… These people called me 5 times in 10 minutes! I was on the other line, and couldn't answer… Talk about harassment. I would NEVER give my business to them simply for that.

They will sell your info and will get tons of spam calls everyday. DON'T EVER USE THIS SITE AGAIN TO SAVE YOURSELF FROM SPAM CALLS

Everquote Texas steal from its new agents. They will send you a false bills once they get your automatic bank info. You got to cancel them immediately call the bank and put a stop payment and block them from your account because they will keep billing you after you terminate them.

So shopping for homeowners insurance, clicked on them to get a quote. They took me to another screen and showed two links. Neither had any of the information I entered on the everquote site. Then they started calling me. Some demon dialer thing and once you answer they put you in a hold queue. Then the person puts you into another queue to call some insurance agent. They do trade some information with the agents but a total misrepresentation. One said they were Independent and then came up with a Farmers quote. The Allstate one seemed to be the only one that was actual. On the fourth call I told them to STOP calling me. Blocked that number. Then started getting calls from other numbers and had to block those.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS site! Yes they are routing you to insurance agents who are too lazy to go beat the bushes for business but they just keep calling and calling and calling. Then they want you to jump through flaming hoops to get them to stop.

HORRIBLE BUSINESS model for the consumer.

I submitted all the information one would require for a quote. I immediately got 2 very high quotes. Then my phone started ringing. And ringing and ringing! The companies calling require you to tell them all the information you already submitted to Everquote. Then, Everquote called me 8 times in less than 3 hours. I kid you not...

I just tried to get comparison quotes for a property I'm closing on. EverQuote walks through a detailed survey to get the property information. But then it "matches" me with the multiple insurance companies - all of which have none of the information I had taken the time to submit. And the first call I received in response was someone who's English was difficult to understand - they did make clear that they wanted to collect all the information already provided to EverQuote in order to get me a quote.

USELESS!

They collect all your personal info (which is they can sell/use to make money even if you don't get anything from them) and then jerk you around sending you from one site to the next. You never get a quote - someone has to call you for that. By that time these clowns have your full name, birth date, address, phone number - everything they need to sell your info. To make money. Don't be dumb like me - stay far away from this bull $#*! site.

EQ used to be the best in the industry. They've gone downhill and are sending trash leads to agents. Look elsewhere for quality

This company takes your information and makes money selling it to other people. Do NOT use this site. They will harass you non stop with phone calls.

It refers other sites just like it that compare quotes instead of actually giving you quotes. You're better off finding insurance companies on your own and getting the quotes yourself. On top of not actually being helpful, they will spam call you relentlessly. I have blocked 4 different numbers from them and they are STILL calling me from other numbers. Absolutely ridiculous.

I put in a request for some insurance quotes but never quite finished it as i changed my mind. These people blew my phone up! I got like 15 calls in a span of 24 hours. I called a number back and politely asked them to stop calling and the rude pos immediately hung up on me. I called another number back (they call you continuously from different numbers) and requested the same thing from a different agent and asked her to "make sure they never call again" then hung up on her. If they call me again I'm reporting them. I better be on a no call list, stop blowing up peoples phones! I could see if i finished the application and needed your services.

They have no screening prosses. Their employees are not that smart. They send leads of people who have already done a quote with my company online and rejected the policy back to us. The most useless company I've ever worked with. I hate them with all my heart.

Never received one car insurance quote all it does is link to insurance companies and you have to enter all of your information again. Waste of time! I can only think of one reason this company gets your information and sells it. Useless!

What a great way to destroy your brand. Calling incessantly regardless of how many times I say stop. The picture shows all of the calls from Evequote and their subsidiaries to my cellphone over 48 hours. WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH.
