I have had an awesome time participating in the different events with E & A, Denver. I had a chance to explore all the wonderful outings Denver had to offer. Even though the commute from Colorado Springs was a long one, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people. My favorite events were Iive music and wonderful Cafe at The Cheese Importers in Longmont, Salsa Dancing in Denver, Comedy in Greenwood Village, Rock N Roll Bingo in Littleton, Sip and Paint in Arvada, and Game Night all over Denver. If you are looking to meet new people and have many to play with, this is the place for you. Have fun!
This organization only provides good service to their employees and people in their "group".
They are VERY clicky and judgemental.
Stay away,
Go to dateing sites.
Buyer Beware.
My overall experience has been ok, but i would like more variety of events that are closer to where i live and are offered early in the day.
E & A Great way to meet new people and try new things. I've truly enjoyed the ski trips as well as summer activities.
Hidden fees and no way to cancel your subscription. I used the same email I signed up with now he acts as if he has no clue what Subscription.
It feels as if there is a preponderance of female versus male members and the age of members over 50 seems small.
I love how with E&A I just show up and all details have been taken care of! Very impressed with the experiences!
Unfortunately didn't check reviews before I signed up. BELIEVE WHAT YOU'RE READING. They convinced me there was plenty of young adults in my area that went to events and paid for the group. As a country, we were all beginning to socialize again after this horrid time going through quarantine and such. I figured it was a great time to meet new people so I had an "interview" and signed up. I paid in full. In their terms, it states if you cancel in the first 24 hours you get a full refund. If you cancel in the first 48 hours, you get something like half a refund. Within the first 48 hours, I realize after not making money for a good 9 months it's probably not the best time for anyone to pay $1795. I was dumb. I then emailed the person who signed me up and requested to cancel it, but in the terms, it states to cancel and get a refund you have to mail in a handwritten letter. Even if I wrote a letter requesting to cancel, the company would not receive it in 48 hours because mail was delayed. Mail is still a bit delayed. There are problems with everything. This company being the biggest one for me. Imagine how poor of a company to become my biggest issue while COVID is affecting the world?! Shame on them. I contacted my credit card company to cancel the payment then they reached out to research the problem (I wish I wrote down the name of the lady that manages/sets up events/owns the company), but she says no refunds. HOW DESPICABLE OF A HUMAN BEING DO YOU HAVE TO BE, TO HOLD MEMBERS OF TO REGULAR STANDARDS DURING NOT A REGULAR TIME. Beyond shameful.

Loads of games, i also like that you can order food from the nearby restaurants right from that location.
I've had a ton of fun get to meet a lot of people and making great friendships so far
This was definitely the highlight of my week! I had a great time.
Nice dinner at an authentic Denver Mexican diner. Lovey group of folks, ate way too much.
I am very unsatisfied with my membership. I signed up for two years, I'm a year and a half in. I have tried to stay active because it was a very expensive commitment to waste, but I do not feel after a year and half that I have taken much from this club. The standard of men they draw in is far below the standard of women. Ladies, if you are looking at this as a dating opportunity to meet men in person that might be different than dating apps, don't waste your breath.
But the primary reason I am so dissatisfied is because I live in the Chicago suburbs, and our "ghost host" * never tries to serve the people in the suburbs. I have in-person heard her mouth say out loud she "hates doing suburban events, and does the bare minimum for them." If she does do a suburban event, it will be something to serve the city people and not the suburban folks. It's like she thinks that all suburban people do is walk around Forest Preserves and go to Trivia nights at pubs. I would like to see a suburban event every day showing us variety in the suburbs just like there is a city event every day. Not just things at bars and nature hikes. Plus, a lot of the interesting things to do are planned in the city for weeknights, this is very hard for suburbanites to accomplish, we would like to see more of these in the suburbs on weeknights as well.
* is the key to the suburban events being successful, and so far she has proven she is the bad apple in the bunch. I honestly haven't even seen her in over a year at an event. It is also impossible to relay this to anyone else at E&A because all of the complaints go directly to her! She has also brainwashed all the hosts underneath her to pity her and think she is doing a good job. If we say something about how suspect the calendar is, all we get is her excuses about how hard it is for her. Please stop defending her, she is the problem and everything wrong is entirely within her control to correct. She is doing a bad job. She is in the service industry and has chosen to NOT serve half the people.
Do not join this club, especially if you are in the Chicago suburbs. I wish they would rethink Michelle's position or find a second host for the suburbs.

Everyone needs a good social outlet. This group makes it fun. I've tried adventures I wouldn't do on my own.
SCAM forsure, I signed up when I first moved to Texas and wanted to meet new people and they were all about bringing me in for an "interview" psssh, BS... they were giving me their selling pitch and got me to sign up for an outrageous $$$$ and they get you good with there slamming contract. Went to one even... it was sooo boring and everyone that showed was out of my age group (which I was told there'd be plenty 20 somethings there) Nothing was included in the membership fee, had to pay for any drinks or food i purchased. I tried cancelling my membership that very next day and no one would get back to me, I wrote the headquarters and office in my area about my disappointment with the club and how I wanted out of my contract... they didn't comply and I had to cancel my credit card so payments wouldn't go through. Of course I'm getting notices that I need to pay... but I refuse to after being taken advantage of like that. I WARN EVERYONE THINKING ABOUT JOINING>>>DON'T NOT WORTH IT and they will suck you dry if you let them!
Worst company I have ever dealt with!
I was living in the lower mainland months ago, and became interested after hearing one of their countless ads on the radio.
I contacted them, and setup a interview to see if being a member was something I might be interested in.
I told them in advance that I would not be joining, and that the first meeting was just to see the program, get the fixed costs, and get a sense for who the company was.
I went in for an "interview" which was a hard sell, and very little actual info provided by the salesman I met.
I explained that I just wanted the info to decide at a later date.
He told me that I was "wasting his f*cking time if I didn't sign up right then and there." That he "didn't do second meetings."
He also showed me pictures of attractive female members and said "dude, you are going to get so much p*ssy, you won't know what to do with it all." and to "keep a rubber on it" so I didn't get anyone pregnant or catch any STDs.
I said I was not into that, and just looking to meet people, since I was new to the area.
He also told me that I could quit if it didn't work out for me. I figured I'd try for a few months and go from there. I left a $100 deposit for my membership, since I didn't get a trusting feeling from him, and didn't want them to have my credit card number.
So I reluctantly and under alot of pressure, and left the office without any contract, paperwork, receipt, nothing but a calendar, and his business card.
I looked at the calendar after I left, and thought I would see once they had the next months schedule to decide if I wanted to stay a member or not. After seeing the schedule, and my work schedule shifting to evening, I contacted Events and Adventures to cancel my membership.
After several emails back and forth, they told me I could not quit, and I was 'on the hook' for 18 months. I explained that wasn't what I was told, but they kept sending me bills.
After giving up trying to explain it to them, they hired a collection agency to collect from me.
DO NOT JOIN!
It's been great. If you like adventure and not sitting on a beach. This is for you
Answer: Negligence, lack of research, or maybe stupidity. The worst financial mistake I've made in a very long time!
