I'm old, fairly mechanically inclined, totally inexperienced with rebuilding RV trailer hubs/brakes... but seeing the required parts listed along with videos of their installation/adjustment gave me the confidence to do this job. It appears my outer bearing caved in and caused major damage but, thankfully, it came apart as I was backing into my driveway AFTER towing the trailer across a major lake dam and through some complex road construction! Thank you, God!

Unfortunately my order came incomplete. Now it seems I have to order a whole new mat/ rug instead of just the missing portion. This mean I must remove missing pieces from new order or repack the old order. Neither an easy task because it is oversized and the box isn't easy to open without ripping which makes the return that much harder. Not even sure if I have to bring the package somewhere which is also difficult. Not a good purchasing experience at all.

The experience with etrailer was great. Having the USPS ship the product not so much. Delivery date kept changing. On etrailer's site I was asked to put in my zip code to see when I would receive the items. Zip code showed a Wednesday delivery. Then it was given to our wonderful postal service. A week later I received the package. It would have been quicker to drive from Virginia to Missouri to pick it up myself. Shipping is free. Now I see why.

I placed an order in the evening, & realized I didn't need one of the more expensive items the next morning. I called to cancel that one item, but was told that my item had shipped. It took a week for the package to arrive, & I was told that I would have to pay an additional.$17.54 to return this one part. I am not pleased with this policy, especially since I tried canceled the order in a timely fashion. I will certainly be more diligent in the future if I order from this company.

Purchased a hitch for Nissan Leaf Can with poorly made parts. All of the support plates were oversized. These plates require a precise size to fit into the hole in the car's frame, so my hitch could not be installed. ETRAILER couldn't replace because there was a backorder of more than a month, with ni guaranteed shipping date. ETRAILER rep asked me what I'd like as compensation if waited for replacement, I asked for 20% discount. Rep said declined and then tried to play games, which was instantly frustrating.

I bought their "1000Lb" prop for my motorcycle trailer. This is the folding telescopic piece that supports the front (tongue) of the trailer when it's not on the ball hitch. It lasted 3 months. Failed laterally when on a slight off camber surface and me standing on the tongue. Hardly 1000lb. Look at the pics. Probably made from melted down coat hangers? E-trailer will not refund my money. I sent them pictures. I bought it direct from them. They offered to give me a replacement if I send them back the old one. Pics not good enough for them. I don't want another one... THE PART IS CHINESE JUNK. Shame on me for trusting their website/promises...stick with CURT brand or other reputable. The customer service guy was polite... shame to have to rep a company selling this junk

if price looks to be too good to be true then you can be sure it's CHINESE JUNK

Tried to return defective mirrors under warranty period and eTrailer said I had to pay the shipping back to their warehouse. I do not agree. Bad policy.

Should have checked Amazon first. $50 less and free shipping. Called strainer and they said it was already on a truck and nothing they could do. I could return it for $100 and pay a restocking fee so no price match whatsoever. They just lost my business and everyone I know.

Ordered a part for 900.00 with free shipping. Ship date got moved 4 times. Called 3 times said warehouse was overloaded. On the 4th call the person was more honest. She said the free shipping people get moved below the paying for shipping customers. Thats NO NO way to treat customers. It shows money, NOT orders are more important to them. Then they said...well.if you want to pay a little more we can ship it faster...last order with etrailer period

To be fair I did not provide my complete set up. I merely asked for a confirmed to fit brake light system that the wiring system was completely separate from tow vehicles lighting system running/brake lights and signals. Similar to the RM-152-LED that fits my 2019 Grand Cherokee. I have watched many of the very helpful videos for your products and pieced together the list of parts. As far as I can tell the only things that splice into the vehicles factory wiring is the brake relay and the tail light diodes. The rest connects to the battery post and vehicle ground. Kevin mentioned I did not need the brake light relay but I answered the questions on the items listing and determined I do need it because my brake light and turn signal uses the same light. If I do not use it the brake light relay, the brakes will override the turn signal. The stop light switch is merely a braking indicator light. My question was about avoiding tapping into the vehicle's wiring with concerns about factory or my extended warranty being voided with regards to the wiring be tampered with. By the way some of the items listing actually warns customers of this. In Kevin's response he assured me that this was not a issue and that splicing into the system was so easy a caveman could do it. With the videos you guys provide I believe him, but if it turns out I void my warranty and there are other issues later on, I may be better off replacing taillights from water leaking into as opposed to my vehicle wiring system. So if there was a way to have the demco braking work the brakes without sending the brake light signal and rely on the separate wiring drilled into the tail light I believe I could avoid any possible issues with my warranty. I would have responded directly to him for clarification but that was not a option and was referred to calling support line. I would also suggest not posting the original because it's not entirely correct as far as I can tell and may not help others.

You guys need a better QA/QC process. For the wrong parts to show up but invoiced for the right part there is a quality control issue. I had to go onto your website to try and find the wrong parts you sent me so I could give you a number of what was sent to me and explain it was not the right part number.

Sounded great on the phone but when the right part showed up there were no shipping labels to send the wrong parts back.

Not a great experience. Currently installing the hitch. Had problem called trainer. Person I spoke with sent me a video to watch. I had already seen it. The video did not match the hardware kit nor the instructions that came with my hitch. Video installed 8 bolts with 8 fish wires. My hitch came with 6 bolts and 4 fish wires. The video installed the hardware through the access hole on the frame next to the bolt holes. My bolts won't fit through the access hole, My instructions show installing the hardware through the end of the frame. My frame appears to be 3.5" wide as shown in the instructions. The spacers I got in my hardware kit are 1.5"x3". When installed the bolts can spin freely since the spacers aren't long enough to catch on the frame.

Be careful what you purchase from this company. The company seems on the outside to offer a good service. I ordered two items that were shipped on time and arrived intact. However, they do not offer free shipping.
But here is where you need to be careful. Etrailer shipped me two items that did not fit my vehicle even though the website claims it does. I wanted to return the items that were either defective or simply the wrong items. They fought me every step of the way. Finally, they accepted that I return the items but vowed that they would charge both shipping and a restocking fee.
AND they did. They deducted 35% from my purchased price even though the items were not compatible with my vehicle as promised on their website.
I will not be purchasing any more items from this company.
