Flexible - As a refresher, it works - we know the information let us smash out that quiz and get on with our lives rather than sit through irritating voiceovers and laborious videos.
Very detailed, much appreciated
Course is very convoluted. Booking is one month away. Tested on content not given in scenario and a lot harder and demands your instinct. Assessor is impatient and called late, then said no time and just hung up. Waste of money and time. Claims about same day certificate is a lie.
The videos were good teaching tools. The information provided is detailed and relevant. The assessment questions are mostly well-worded and relevant but some were worded in a confusing way and/or referred to content that was not in the notes. Staff are responsive to emails when you contact them for help. The big downside for me is having to wait at least five weeks (!) to do the second part of the assessment, which is a live conversation with an assessor. These appointments are also only available in business hours which is a problem if you are already employed - you will need an hour off work and cross your fingers that the assessor calls on time. So just be aware of these issues if you are planning on getting your RSA quickly and/or you are already employed. If I had known about this I would have selected a course I could get done in person over a weekend (although obviously that will cost more) and I would not have selected this course.
This course enabled a deaf student to complete their RSA and have so many more work options available them. The questions could be understood when explained and therefore, the student felt comfortable answering them. The phone link up for the given scenarios was handled by very understanding and professional assessors. I have done this course myself as the teacher. The student was very chuffed at gaining his RSA and is eagerly awaiting his certificate to arrive. Thank you to all staff at EOT
It was a worse decision for me to do RSA with EOT. It will take one month for me to finish last audio assessment. They don't have any available date before one month. If I would do the RSA from any Center, I would get it within few days and here I am not getting any chance to finish my course. I am stuck in my job because of this.
It was very imformative
Easy to use and understand
Reasonably easy to use... frustrating that assessments can't be completed in the time that suits me.
Being able to complete the RSA Course outside office hours.
Took my money without service, was unable to replace my "white card" and would not refund my money. I got my white card with HIA and they do not deal with 3rd party's to reissue them you have to contact them directly. DON'T use "Express Online Training" contact your training provider first!
I got my white card reissued instantly by contacting HIA after losing funds to eot. NOT HAPPY wait of time and money...
The marking was very quick
I loved being able to do this at my own pace & found the content very interesting.
It was completed as a requirement of volunteer work
Flexibility
Clear questions
Clear PDF
Happy to return
Despite what the website course flows says, you won't pay when you complete the RSA course. You'll pay after completing the online questionnaire section. This is stated in fine print within the website which most consumers wouldn't see (for example, hovering over the course flow with your cursor).
Following the completion of the questionnaire and payment, you'll be prompted to leave a review. Given that the content is well laid out and easy to follow in this section, you'd likely leave a four or five-star review.
The surprise comes when you log in to your account to download your certificate (because you've paid) and find out that there are two remaining modules to complete before you can get your Statement of Attainment.
In the first, you'll be required to submit videos in response to certain scenarios. These will take 1 - 4 days to be marked once submitted (it took four days in my case). You will not be able to access the remainder of the course until these are marked. Once marked, you will then have to book an appointment for a phone interview to complete the course, causing further delays. An assessor will call you within an allocated one-hour block and have you respond to a couple of scenarios in a role-play over the phone.
I would have absolutely no problem with this if the website laid this out clearly from the beginning. However, they don't and it seems intentional.
Quick and simple. Was able to leave and come back whenever I wanted. Assessments weren't too complicated but still asked decent questions.
Quick easy and ability to re read course notes
Very easy to understand & information very hopeful
Answer: The course is flexible for you to do (sign in and sign out, and your Student Dashboard will tell you where you're up to). The course takes (about) 6hours. Your assessments along the way are marked before releasing the next one. Final assessments include doing onscreen presentations of about 2mins each, for (about) 10 items I think. Then it takes 1-3 business days for them to assess your Finals.
Answer: Once you've done the 5 sections then you have to do a Final Assessment and audio/video presentations. Sign back onto your account and check your Student Dashboard as it will tell you what you still need to complete.
Answer: YOU TOOK MY MONEY AND NO WHITE CARD HAS BEEN GIVEN.
