Panels inverters switch gear disconnects string lines to bypass transformers I build battery packs freecells to harness power and store it. 99.9% of all panels used in operation are from over seas at way lower cost then the pubic is aware of. Cost related to inverters and panel builders are most expensive since CoVID all materials have skyrocketed because of loss of trade neglect and the debt our government has already failed to pay back to China. I can buy everything needed for my home and my labor is free when you announce free solar to the public but hid the service bill and mark up in your terms this is how our system becomes broken. With the threat that's already mainstream from Iran and the superchip knocking out only 9 substations out of our 55,000 nation wide to cause a 18 month crisis. Yu would like to believe American is built better than what advantage is being taken out of context.
