Huge SCAM — If you have an used vehicle they will blame all the failures on "PRE-Existing Conditions" and won't honor the warranty.
I signed with Endurance for about 2 months ago and unfortunately have a low cost repair (transaxle) that has been denied because Endurance Warranty is claiming this is a "PRE-EXISTING CONDITION" issue and they won't cover.
I've met ALL the requirements before starting a claim (30days wait period and over 1k miles) but endurance still denies my claim.
Lawrence Sims, who sold me the warranty verbally confirmed that as long as I met all the requirements before starting a claim, I would not have any problems — FALSE INFORMATION.
My 2010 KIA FORTE had over 80k miles when I signed with Endurance. Everything that goes wrong Endurance Warranty will classify as "Pre-Existing Condition" and not fulfill the contract.
Endurance is highly untrustworthy and full of Misleading Information.
Endurance Warranty is a SCAM.
Put in for reimbursement of wipers and oil change. They claimed they never got the claims. My mechanic called to get pre approval for a crack engine block and he was told its not leaking so they won't pay to fix it. When I went to cancel due to buying a new truck, they told me I had a few claims for door fixes and I never had that done. They are not very good about their paperwork.
I have a 2006 automobile my dealer has called 2 times now on 2 different occasions for different issues. This warranty company until company never approves anything. Don't waste your money. You're better off taking that same money every month and putting it into an account to save up for the repairs in the future
On two occasions I was lied to. Telling me they were the only one that would cover my 2003 WV jetta. Not true! I am fully covered under Car Shield the last rep that was not true. They a lying sales tactic to get me to sign up with them Peter was the first one to tell me this. The second was a female. I called Car Shield and they cover as fat back as 1998
If will lie about this and use this kinds of sales tactics what all will lie about. Beware of Peter and the rest of their team. Call Car Shield they are an honest company. I had them some years ago on another car. Never had a problem and never lied about anything.
Pre-existing is a term of convenience for this company. Losing you over being behind for your account payments wise is acceptable to them. Know that. I can't speak long term but shady. Cancel policy is 30 min hold 30 min trying to keep you then having to get notary to verify your miles in car. When signing up you just say ok and they take your money. Shady.
I received a letter saying that my extended warranty could go up from $150-$500. I called to explain that I signed a contract and wouldn't be paying them anything extra. Mike Sanchez refused to let me speak to Rebecca Patterson, as she is an "executive with the company." (The letter is from her.) He said "I don't know what you're trying to pull here." When I got rude with him, he tried to back pedal and say that he was trying to help me as he sees I have no coverage. That's a lie. This is a step up from the scam phone calls asking us about our vehicle's extended warranty. I chose one star because zero wasn't an option.
I bought a policy from them in March 2021. I figured I followed my manufacturers service log, so everything should be covered no problem. HA! Big problem. I used their recommended mechanic, as I figured it would be a faster fix. They sent out their agent to see what was wrong with car (my tranny went) he stated that my transmission has never been flushed, nor have they ever changed the filter and denied claim. I sent in 3 yes 3 receipts that it had been done. They still told me no, the mechanic never changed the filter so we are not covering it. Granted this went on for well over a month. I had to rent a car, cause I started a new job (and it was in the warranty to be covered). Couldn't afford that after a week, lost the job. Argued with Endurance for months. They said they would refund all monies I gave them, if I signed a statement never to say anything bad or sue. They sent me a check for over $500. Didn't cash it or sign. They called said they would cover everything, to send in receipts when all said and done. Did that, they denied again, said they never said that. Then they called and said they would give me a check for $2500. 00, I turned them down. I am really hard up for money, I am a single mom with twins going into college at end of month. Probably should have taken it, however, I did EVERYTHING right and by the book, they are the ones that are not keeping up with their end of the deal. I just wonder how many other people they are doing this too? Heading to court to file today!
Been with endurance for a while now and only used once, needed roadside assistance yesterday and was told i could not be found in the system. Was left stranded. Called this morning and was immediately found using my phone number. I was placed on hold for a while and was then told it would take a while to be put in the system when i asked why was i not in the system in the first place since i am up to date on payments i did not get a answer just a i dont know when you will be available so basicly if i needed help despite being up to date on my payments i wont get help because endurance does not have me in their system but they have taken my money. NOT HAPPY
I called Endurance within 30 days of opening an account with them to cancel my warranty coverage. I was placed on hold for almost 20 min before someone from Customer Service answered. When I asked to have my warranty service cancelled, I was given a lecture by the representative (Jason Andres) about why I shouldn't cancel it. When I tried to tell him that I understand his concern but I have made up my mind, he told me not to interrupt him while he was speaking to me and that I was being rude. So I let him talk a little longer. When I realized that he was not concerned or considerate of my request to cancel, I once again asked him to cancel the service. He then became irrate and talked over me, never allowing me to speak. I reminded him that I am a customer and he needs to listen to me and honor my request because I never asked him for a lecture. Mind you that he was raising his voice at this time and never listened to anything I said. As I became aggravated with him and told him that if he does not cancel the account, I will contact my credit card company to reverse the deposit charged and place a block on Endurance from charging my account again, he hung up on me before I could finish telling him that. I called back and explained the conversation to the receptionist. She apologized for his behavior and forwarded my call to another customer service manager named Max, who was very courteous and professional and took care of my request to cancel the account. He also apologized for Jason's behavior. People like Jason are a turnoff and should be terminated on the spot. Customer service is not his area.
The ABSOLUTE WORST WARRANTY COMPANY
I have requested to speak with the CEO, Richard Holland, but there is absolutely NO WAY to do this. I honestly believe there are young inexperienced children running this organization. If I could give ZERO stars, I would.
This all started with a salesperson feeding me lies about which policy to buy. Said they offer bumper to bumper coverage on repairs, for high mileage vehicles, and they are the BEST in the industry. That was a lie from the start.
My advice? Do NOT purchase a warranty from Endurance. Ignore the made up reviews and 3,4, or 5 stars. I have already filed a formal complaint after having spoken to 6 supervisors. I was promised several times that a "Team Lead" would call me back, but no call ever. I asked to speak to the VP of Operations, to a Director of Operations, and I am told over and over by Customer Support that they "have no idea who the names of executive management and leadership are" and they have "no way to contact them".
I have waited on hold so many times, which has added up to literally hours, just to speak to Claims, or to a supervisor, and I have been hung up on after 10-15 minutes on 3 different occasions.
Endurance has very unpleasant customer service representatives. Our car dealership that we recently dealt with for a huge repair, contacted Endurance, and they also say the same thing, that Endurance is the worst warranty company they have ever dealt with, so much so, that effective immediately, the Service Director is denying any customers who are using Endurance as their warranty company. Those customers will now have to pay cash for any repairs. This is because of the HOURS they have wasted dealing with Endurance.
Inspectors do not even show up as promised, causing wasted time and money for the customer.
I just do not understand how a company can run like this. This review will also be copied and pasted anywhere I can leave a review for Endurance.
Forlks go to dealership and buy your warranty. These guys WILL NOT PAY FOR REPAIRS. The dealership will honor the warranty they sell you. Your just throwing money away away with this scam company.
I got a warranty plan through Endurance as part of my loan agreement on my car due to issues with the previous car I bought. The plan only lasted two years and when it expired, they sent me a letter in the mail saying something along the lines of needing to set up a payment plan.
When I called the number, I had to explain several times that the warranty I had was just a temporary thing and I had no reason to extend it. The gentleman on the phone repeatedly tried to get me to reconsider, even transferring me to, I'm assuming, a higher up. After speaking with him for a few minutes reiterating that I had no interest in renewing we ended the call.
The following weeks had Endurance call me at least three times with me telling them I was not interested in renewing and that I did not want to be contacted again regarding this. The next time they called, I blocked their number.
All was quiet for about two weeks until random voicemails began showing up on my phone. They were from Endurance.
Today, June 28th, I received a letter in the mail asking if I wanted to renew at a new 'reduced' rate. This is unacceptable that this company cannot seem to take no for an answer.
Don't waste ur money. I purchased this warranty for my truck. It has only 63k miles. I went to get an oil change and was advised that the rack and pinion needs to be replaced. The policy states that the rack and pinion is covered. I called and spoke to a rep before taking to the shop. The shop called and advised that the ac needed repair and the rack and pinion needed repaired. As well as the power steering had a leak. All stated on the policy and the rep confirmed. I took to the shop they called endurance and was told that they won't cover any repairs. What the hell am I paying for when there's repairs that need to be done and they denied all of the repairs stating not covered. This is useless and out 165 dollars for the $diagnostics. Now I have pay 2200 for the rack and pinion 500; for the AC and 500 for the power steering plus labor costs. This warranty is useless and don't cover $#*!.
1This company will deny any claim made.
We spent $5,000 for the extended warranty through this company! Our claim was denied because we did our Oil changes too soon they said, which they say is lack of maintenence. We have no choice but to take this to court. This company takes your
Money and doesn't help with what they say they will cover. They refuse to give a written reason why the claim was denied, they say we only verbally tell you it's denied. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR COVERAGE THROUGH THEM!
Purchase Mercedes c350 and we got warranty today with endurance company.
Is great company, great costumer se go ve.
Allen was very helpful and provided all the information we needed.
Thank you for everything… looking forward to continue our 5 year contract…
Abe
They drag thier feet to deny your claim. They use 3rd party contractors that cancel constantly. Endurance is not worth the money save what you would make in a payment into an interest barring account then use that in to fix your car in lieu of making them money.
Endurance denied me twice after the mechanic called and when I complained about it, I was told I had the wrong coverage. I had told endurance that I wanted total coverage when I first signed up for the warranty. I told them I wanted to cancel the service. Then the manager that I had been transferred to after a long wait said it up to me if I want to cancel but that's how the company makes a lot of their money through cancellations. He talked me into signing up for a warranty package that will cover more, the one that I should have had in the first place. After a couple of months paying for the new warranty package I was thinking of if I was to take my car in for a new problem and get endurance denial again that would be more wasted money for no service. I did lose a lot of money with the sign up fees, payments made and the car repairs I had to make. I did cancel. Make your choice and good luck!
These people are only out to get your money. I made prompt payments to these people every month, and did not miss one payment. When it came down for me to start a claim, they send you through different loops, to avoid fixing your repairs. Ridiculous! The money I paid them, I could've used to repair my car on my own. After my car stayed in a repair facility for over two weeks, Endurance tells me my claim is denied. Their customer service is poor, and so unprofessional. Endurance will never contact you, to give you an update on your claim. You have to reach out to them. Ridiculous! I have learned my lesson, and will not give my money to these Warranty companies anymore. They are only out to steal your money! Stay away!
I'd been receiving notice after notice. I called to tell them I'm not interested several times. Today I received a notice in my married name from 20+ years ago. On the outside of the notice is the record ID. Why would that be for all to see? I'm thinking they got that info after I did a record request from local courts. Am I to expect a notice in every name I've had?
Can we say Ambulance Chaser?!
I've cancelled this policy 3 months ago and still haven't gotten my refund. When you call they put you on hold for 15 to 20 minutes. The absolute worst customer service.
Answer: I have had Endurance for over a year and have not had to use the service yet. I received my Contract, had expert assistance in opening the account, saving money on the Contract, receiving all my document, immediately both via electronic and in the mail at my request. My experience with Endurance has been, so far very favorable. Some phone service problem, but all resolved successfully, going on-line, to my account
Answer: Your salesman told me I was buying the best extended warrenty and I would be covered from bumper to bumper on car repairs. What a lie that was! Then your customer service said that was to bad and they would give me one month free monthly payment. Whoopy-do! I'm angry and fell for your scam!
