I am currently a mechanic in the army and I'm not exactly the most mechanic savvy person, (I just chose a random job basically). But this manual is good in conjunction with being around trucks/Humvees every day. If there is a word or part I don't know I refer to this manual, it summarizes every aspect of a vehicle that a casual mechanic would want to know about.

I've been a gearhead for over 30 years and I've always had eManualOnline repair manuals whether I'm doing a total rebuild or just a minor repair these manuals helped me to solve problems.

Great place to start when working on your Harley Davidson. Better to know the correct way to do the repairs then do it several times before you get it done correctly. I would have given 5 stars but it is too general in so many areas. But still better than most repair manuals out there in the market.

I had initially got a PDF of a manual that made no sense and was disorganized. After helping me out, and making download a big program, it then made more sense what I was looking at. Wish I didn't have to download a large program, and not deal with error codes I had to work through on the computer, but all in all they were really helpful, just wish the manual was cleaner in the PDF version. It does so in a respectful tone, transitioning from the extremely simple to fairly complex--all with enough detail to truly educate without bogging down in technician-level minutiae.

This is a very informative guide to mechanics for ANYONE. I financed my first car ever and did not know the basics. Needless to say, I am learning gradually regarding every piece of the car and how it operates. This manual goes from basic to advance knowledge regarding Auto Repair. This is from a newbie to advance from my perspective and should be in everyone's car.

I got this manual because I got my second car ever and I decided that I should learn about how cars work instead of just knowing how to use them. But more importantly, if my car ever did something unexpected I wanted at least SOME idea of what was wrong. This manual is great!

This manual taught me the basics of simple car maintenance. The review of how all the systems work and how they work together was very helpful. I think I now have a working knowledge of how a car operates. I think I can now talk with my mechanic without shame, hahahaha.

For those of you who are familiar with eManual Online and its products, this will work great. For people like me who need a helping hand, this is a good addition to your library, but you'll need other materials as well.

Automotive technology will continue to advance and at some point, some of the information in this manual will become obsolete, but for now, this provides the basics of internal combustion mechanics as well as the other systems of a car: exhaust, electrical, braking, etc. There is also a very well done introduction, as well as a chapter on road safety and preparedness. Well worth the investment. I highly recommend this manual.

I have been driving my own car now for 7.5 years. It's surprising how much you can learn about cars when they malfunction and you have to go to the garage to have them repaired. However, learning about cars when they go wrong just isn't enough and I read a lot about them on Wikipedia and forums... Those sources are great but they don't break things down into easily digestible chunks. That is where this manual really does come into its own: it demystifies the puzzle of the ICE.

It's very easy to understand and has really good pictures. I can't put this manual down and have already read half of it today as I got it. If you're looking for advanced auto repair and knowledge, like what tools to use, and how to remove more parts then this manual is for you. This manual is also for a novice. What I can say it's very helpful.

Probably the best beginners' repair and maintenance manual out there. Unlike other ebooks of this level, it actually does show you how to do some meaningful repairs (changing brake pads, spark plugs, etc). Better than the Haynes Guide, which hardly covers anything repairs-wise.

You may never do your own car repairs after reading this manual, but it is worth the read just to understand all the systems in your car and how they integrate to get you to work in the morning.

Modern-day BMWs are refreshingly straightforward vehicles compared to many out there today. Highly recommended. You would definitely love it
