The shoes are comfortable, but very cheap quality, look paper thin, definitely not worth the price and the wait. This is not a South African company so do not be conned by the little flag or that website may be registered in South Africa, although I did get the order with an extra charge of $11.00 by courier. Not worth the effort to return, but you can get better quality locally, at less than half the price. Would not recommend.

Tip for consumers:
Do not use, unless you are willing to wait for an inferior quality product, and not expect a refund. Was expensive for the product - "leather" is paper thin.

I ordered the shoes in December and did recieved them in Jan 2023. Very disappointed in what recieved, very bad quality, smell terrible. Not worth the money at all. I sent a email and got a response telling me to send them back for a refund. I don't know if that will happen. Very disappointed. I always read reviews, did not this time.

I received my 'orthopedic sneakers' today.What a rip off.This company should be held liable for false advertising.The sneakers look plastic and it stinks.So very disappointing,don't know how they can con customers like this.

I ordered and paid for two pairs of shoes on 14th December 2022 R1,248.00.
I have not received my goods,not been able to track my order,not received a definitive response,save for being directed to the tracker that does not work,and asking for my patience.
Request for refund has fallen on deaf ears.
These a bunch of crooks it seems to me,prowling the marketplace scamming people out of hard earned money.
Please do not be duped!

I purchased a pair of boots. I received it yesterday and it's definately not worth 1299. Not even 200. Worst quality ever. Don't even rate it one star

I am now told they don’t refund and I can buy get another pair but I have to pay for shipping

Cheapest stinky Chinese junk is used for material. Long delivery time, waited over one month.
I gave it right away to a charity, where it can make hopefully for at least R 10 to sell.
DO NOT ORDER if you a sensitive nose and an accurate taste!

The "leather" ankle boots ordered 2.5.23 order no ComfySA9904 are badly made cheap plastic Chinese rubbish.

Advertising is very misleading and untruthful.

The product I purchased is not usable. Ankle boots stitching came apart the first time I put them on. Advertised as leather, they a cheap plastic with no inner sole or lining, making them most uncomfortable.

I ordered boots on 1 July, amount was immediately credited against my credit card. Until today, 7 days later, I have not received confirmation of my order or any information regarding the delivery date.

To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. You have robbed me of my money. I paid R600 for orthopeadic shoes only to get plastic nonsense after waiting for over a month. This is a scam and if I could rate this crap service -10 I would gladly do so.

What a lot of crap! Definitely not orthopedic shoes. Not even a ten of the price worth! Should have read the reviews before order!

They are fraudulent, unethical and dishonest. They are conning poor descent people in SA from their hard-earned money and lack any form of conscience whatsoever. They tell people on Facebook that they are based in South Africa which is not true, I highly suspect they are in China, although their website address shows Ireland. You can clearly see the address copied and pasted onto the website. I cancelled my order 5 hours after payment. According to their website you can cancel within 12 hours and get your refund. I paid R1200 for 2 pairs of these shoes as well as shipment fees. They replied saying "sorry the parcel has been shipped already". That's not true, I cancelled 5 hours after payment. Then I sent them pics of my artificial leg pleading with them saying I won't be able to wear the shoes because of my artificial foot. They responded saying how sorry they were, but they can't stop the shipment. Then the shoes arrived - wrong colour. Thin plastic garbage soles glued on. NO LEATHER WHATSOVER. NOT ORTHOPEDIC. Not worth R50. I pleaded with them. I told them again I will not open the parcel and will be sending it back to them. They said they would look into the matter. They then finally responded the last time saying I can't be refunded as I bought the shoes on sale? I replied saying how wrong and dishonest this is and how they dishonestly run their business. They put on a very high price tag, then give it a stripe through with a "new" lower price. This is no sale. There is no way you can pay R600 per pair of shoes in the state I received them. The worst material I have ever seen. Hundreds of people on Facebook and Hello Peter complaining about how they con people in South Africa out of their money running an unethical business. They must be closed down!

Ordered in September 2014, and now that it's June 2015, I'm STILL hung out to dry.
When I asked for a refund in April, I was told it could take 6-8 weeks.
That tells me they've already SPENT the money.

My credit card bank is doing their due diligence to contact the vendor, but I'm hoping to see my money back this week from the bank.

What an awful company. I wish horrible things upon its owners and employees.

Ordered boots in Sept. 2014 and was charged immediately. After multiple excuses as to why the boots had not shipped--shipment delayed due to strike, boots not on boat, owner gravely ill, etc., they stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. They are still taking orders and have blocked comments from being posted by those of us who have already been scammed and are trying to warn others. I don't understand why they have not been arrested or at the very least shut down.

They never made the boots. I got 10 different excuses from the company by email. Ordered in October and didn't have them in June and after five emails with a rep and being offered a discount to keep my order active. I finally cancelled and received a refund. Horrible company and service. A total scam and EA should be in jail.

This is insane! How does this company get away with this? I have the same story as all of you except I did receive them six months later but they were so narrow there's no way I could wear them. So I sent them back on my ticket when they said they would pay the postage. And of course no refund 8 months later! EAS has tainted the buying online experience for me! Never again!

I had ordered boots in August 2014. They never arrived. I kept getting the run around from Elizabeth Anne Shoes and they finally promised me a refund back in January 2015. The refund never arrived. Emails gone unanswered. Even filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. Turns out, there are MANY of us who were scammed out of hard earned money with no boots to show for it.

This company deserves NO Stars. They are Scam Artists!

Please, for your own sanity, DO NOT purchase anything from this company.
I cannot add anything here that has not been written about this company already.

They are clearly:
1) Inept
2) over their heads
Or 3) flat out thieves.

Protect yourselves!

Company immediately takes $$$ and no f/up. Doesn't answer phone or emails.

Scam Alert! I PAID for boots over a year ago. Still have not received them or my money back... b/c I used a credit card & relied on their lies as to why the shipment was "delayed" too much time went by and I have neither boots or my $200 plus!

They were paid $300 for a pair of boots last October. To date, I have only been provided with empty promises of shipment of boots, then they promised to refund my money. They've stopped answering emails. They claim the owner is sick, and the refund is in "processing". The company is a scam, they have stole my money. I hope they will be shut down, and the authorities are able to put a stop to the thievery.

Liars and thieves! Ordered boots in Aug '14, many absurd excuses and delays. Requested refund 2-15. Couple of email promises, but no $$$. Tried to warn others on their FB page, but my comments were deleted and I've been blocked. Have filed complaint with BBB and US FTC. Please see Elizabeth Anne Shoes -Lawsuit FB page and Elizabeth Anne Shoes -Disgruntled Customers FB page. Help us. There are hundreds of us! Yet this horrific company continues to market this intangible product, take orders and STEALS your money! STAY AWAY!

The stories from disgruntled EAS customers are all very much alike and mine is no exception. Ordered the boots in July 2014 and my card was immediately charged. The excuses for not delivering the boots got more bizzare as time went on... The boots were on a plane... no, a boat... the boat was held up... problems at customs... problems with the manufacturer... it never stopped. Finally after 7 months, on 2/16/15 I cancelled the order and was told I would get a prompt refund. It is now 3 months and 1 day later... no refund. I've also been cut off from commenting on their FB page... I used a secondary email to get through to customer service which is just an opportunity for them to make more excuses. STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES!

I ordered a pair if Elizabeth Anne boot at the end of November waited 2 months got a bunch if excuses as the the hold up. So what do I do, logical thing was order another style of boots so now I have two that I was waiting for. Again got nothing but excuses as to where they were. The last straw was when I was told they were held up at customs due to a strike. I called both my CC and had a refund for both pairs. So from me the will get 1 star for the great idea but zero star for all the lying and run around they gave me.
