I signed up with them thinking it was a legit site as I was looking for a friend that matched my education level. Well, I got plenty of responses, "Jane Doe Sent a Smile". Try to reply back, but no response. Hmmm. Well, maybe they are not interested? I replied to at least 30 of the "Sent Smile" messages to start a conversation with no reply. If someone sent me a smile, I thought I would get back at least one reply!
So it gets worse, now my debit card is being charged for all kinds of different dating sites! Thank goodness I have fraud protection and my bank refuses those kinds of transactions. I would avoid and go with a more mainstream site. Cheers!
An "elite" site who's sole functionality is matching people with like people, doesn't require anyone to fully fill out their profile or post pictures. Most matches came in the first week of signing up, and most of them told me nothing about themselves or had pictures. ALL messages and smiles sent to me were from people out of state. If they are going to make this site successful, they need to require everyone to take it seriously. This was a total waste of my time and money.
I signed up and then cancelled 3 hours later. Today I happened to be looking for something in my bank statement and saw they billed me for $172.00. Absolute scammer rip offs. I send an email telling them a second time today to cancel. Don't waste your time on these sites. If you want to meet someone then keep your eyes open to those around you within your daily walk.
This is the worst dating app I've experienced. It he "wild cards" are in different countries - because that will work out well for dating. The site does not really follow your criteria. I've seen more profiles that I have no comparability with. It's an extremely disappointing app. I don't recommend it.
The platform is inferior and feels very dated. On the app, the photos are cropped so you cannot see faces. There is no method for sorting, deleting matches. When you click on likes, the profile photo has no functionality so it's impossible to see who liked you without looking that person up on the list of matches. Overall, a very frustrating experience - i do not have the patience to deal with it. I called the customer support number to try to get a refund and was on hold for 40 minutes. Finally gave up - wasted $200+.
This site is the worst site I've ever used. I signed up. They take all the money up front. No matches locally that meet my criteria. There is no matching at all in fact, and you can only get a few suggestions per day, most of them are not active members. I'm a 43 year old woman in Minneapolis, and the photos below are my "matches."
The app runs slow, never displays pictures in the matches tab and I'm always under review. I am confused on how it works and I support IT! To remove someone you pick the permanently delete and block that's harsh. I think OKCupid is much better. What a waste of money
Hi there. On July 31,2021 I signed up as a paid member for EliteSingles to meet quality people who are compatible with me. Unfortunately in the past few months that I've been a paid member, not just I met anyone, nor have been matched with anyone. Any messages I received from so called members, were followed up with ES customer care warning of my safety or of fake account. This was supposed to be fun exploration for a partner not an annoying experience. This has been very frustrating! I feel ES makes promises that can't keep and takes peoples money without adding any value. I sent a request for a refund my money. I am not interested in this game.
I wish I knew this before I registered.
This was the worst online dating service ever. They are based in Germany. Within the first few days after joining, they were investigating two of the people who contacted me. None of the matches was that well educated and I didn't contact any of them. I also started receiving spam dating email from sites I never joined. I asked for my money back and they refused. Once I told them I filed a credit card dispute and opened a claim with the Better Business Bureau I got my money back. Avoid them.
I purchased a subscription thinking it was going to be a great site to possibly meet someone. That has Not been the case. Instead, I receive many emails stating that they've found a match, but that they'd love for me to meet a friend. They include an email address for me to contact "their friend/colleague." I receive at least one of these messages per day, up to 3 daily. Naturally, I report them to the EliteSingles. I tried to cancel with a partial refund. (Trying to contact Customer Service was a nightmare. Unable to speak to someone.) I do Not recommend this site. It's extremely overpriced for what you'll receive!
This dating site promises professional people. 90% of the matches can't spell and the grammar is atrocious. I have already been alerted to two scammers. A gentleman said he was an electrical engineer. In reality he drove college kids to football games. His picture was at least 10 years old. One fellow said what all he wanted was a"pretty girl". This is truly one of the worst dating site. A total Scam incredibly difficult to navigate this site too
Don't bother wasting your money on this site, you are better off looking for potential matches on popular sites like Hinge, Bumble, etc. I made the mistake of trying something different due to my age but that was a big mistake and a waste of over $100. There are very, very few 'elite' singles. I have a graduate degree and asked for individuals with a similar education but that didn't happen and still doesn't. I am trying to be careful here and not be condescending to other people and their background. It's not what I am looking for and am not happy with wasting money on a site that definitely has false advertising.
Terrible site. Expensive and not for professional people. Worst of all, I corresponded with a scammer that goes by the name of Raymond Beasley. He asked for money in two weeks, reported to the FBI. Photos that scammer is using below
You want men who don't message, or just are too old and think that because it is called elite they are something special.
I signed up because I am a business women who was sick of the free sites, but wow!
If your not over 48 or desperate. The men seem to be either over "elite " in the snobby way. I hate men who are full of themselves, and sorry I don't need a man to offer me money or thing cause they have it I am an option.
I haven't found anyone who I would remotely consider elite. I am not a perfectionist, but the site's name and prices presuppose a good choice, which they don't have. It's the matter of searching for your life partner in the right place. Elitesingles is definitely not the right place so I recommend to avoid this money drain.
Many dating sites that I have used have a dedicated customer service number but, EliteSingles does not. I'm running into issues with the "explore" function but, have had not found any helpful answers provided by other members. If your spending good money to use there website then they need to apply some of that money to a dedicated telephone customer service department.
The quantity of paying members is minimal, so your options of someone close to your area is very small, perhaps 2 to 4 in your city. That is for a month. Also, the site is full of scam members with fake profiles with who knows what intentions. Previous to joining the site I did my research and found excellent reviews, for sure they are fake. I just wrote this information so other people save their money and disappointment.
Nothing elite about this dating site. There is no ability to do your own search and majority of matches I receive are >100 miles away. Watch out for the distance you chose in your search filter. I chose 50 miles (the smallest miles possible) but every couple of days Elite Singles changes it to 500 miles. I change it back to 50 & every other time I check, it is changed to 500. Unethical company! They will never get a another penny from me.
Trying to cancel my account is near impossible. I cannot find a phone number or an email that seems to get through to these scammers. I imagine they will send my account to collections soon. I hope others are not caught in this horrific whirlpool of non-service.
The pool of people using this service is too small, and there is very little activity generally. More than half of the users don't have profiles or pictures posted. This becomes clear within 2 weeks, But at that point no refund is offered on the very expensive 6-month fee. This is a complete waste of money.
Answer: I've used E-harmony and many other American sites, I was disappointed and frustrated over a huge amount of scammers and a miserable amount of real profiles. European sites like https://j4l.com/402007 Are so much better! They ferret out scammers and there are no fake profiles. Ladies are much more high-end, calssy and sociable. It's a paradise compared to E-harmony!
Answer: I wish I could help you. I've been using the contact feature on their website and I have had a few responses (template style emails) but am not getting what I want---a refund. Elite singles HQ is in Germany. I feel like I am peeing into the wind with them but we have to keep trying! Infuriating, isn't it?

Answer: No, they will give you a run around, but no refunds.
Answer: I've tried to reach customer service, should't there be a phone number?!
