Totally agree with previous bad reviews. If you a woman and want to register, you'll have come hell and high water for your profile to be approved. Totally waste of time! Requirements for photos are not disclosed to users. When you ask helpdesk legit questions, all you'll get a copy/paste answers that do not make sense. Collected my phone number for verification, but guess what, no one called! The question is for what purpose they do it, if no one reaches out. Required to upload more photos, but when I pointed out the women profiles with only one photo, all I've got as an answer "upload more photos and be positive." Terrible incompetence in working with users. Withholding important information from users before or during registration is unacceptable. After pointed out to several men profiles with no photos, they say that is OK, because men are a paid members, however no background checks are conducted. IT IS NOT OK for a trustful dating site, as they present themselves. After all this hassle with registration, I deleted my account that have not been even approved.
After registered my profile my profile rejected I am an Indian very bad it is shows they are racist.it shows the domination of their community. I have been on this site and off, for a while. I have meet a couple of women on here, it just didn't work out because of the chemistry when there is a face to face. Some of the women on here you have to be careful of. Because they are just trying to get a free trip to the US. Which I have only had it happen one time. Other than that it is pretty much just like any other legit dating site such as match or okpoopid. One thing though is that if you do not plan on traveling in the near future. If its just dating and nice dinners then a few US websites published annual costs of up to $7,000 a year for dating expenses.
There is always a cost to pursue someone and the overall cost will depend how serious it becomes and of course the expectations of the person your dating.

An update to my review dated 6/19/17.
This Saturday I'll marry the beautiful blond lady that I met on Elena's Models.
It has been much more difficult than I ever imagined going through the whole application and K-1 visa process. The hardest part was the waiting; not knowing clearly the USCIS review timetable. Once the application wad approved and finally sent to Moscow everything moved quickly. I made the trip to Russia for her interview, a quick four day sojourn, and the people at the US embassy couldn't have been nicer. She was nervous and I was relaxed. (While we waited we also visited each other and took a Christmas 2 week trip to Portugal.)
Now we watch '90 Day Fiancee' on TCL and wonder how much are they paying these people for all the drama.

EM is the best site for meeting and communicating with ladies for the money. I have been a member for 9 months and have communicated with a number of attractive, witty and funny ladies. The gentleman who wrote the review about his fiancee visa denial was absolutely correct! Elena's Models doesn't comply with IMBRA and it becomes a huge obstacle when it's time for you to apply for the fiancee visa. On top of that the company doesn't provide any assistance with the problem and simply ignores your E-mails when you contact them. The USCIS sent me an RFE asking for certain documents that Elena's Models was supposed to provide me with. They do not answer my E-mails and I'm stuck right now. They should not be allowed to do business in the US if they don't comply with the US law! I'm not the only one dealing with this problem. Online forums are full of similar cases when people can't get a visa approval because they met through this company.

I have been on this site for about 6 months and I only have great things to say. I haven't met my wife yet, but I have communicated with several women on this site and I have no reason to believe they are a scam. I am surprised just how honest the women are about what they want and why they want to leave. I can't say that anyone I have written with was looking for a rich man, just an honest and caring man. If they were trying to scam people they wouldn't be so honest about their situation. Now you do have to be realistic with your expectations too. If you are old, fat, broke and stupid, you aren't going to get a 22-year-old medical student who is paying for school by modeling to move into your trailer park.
Like the plethora of other dating sites out there, you will have to cut your way through the fake profiles that are taking advantage of the platform to their own benefit, but they are generally fairly easy to spot.
That being said, this site DOES have LEGIT women who are genuinely interested in developing relationships. I spoke with at least two or three real legit women from here, exchanging personal contact information and talking with them for real on the phone or skype. After a while, I really hit it off with one of them and continued talking to her, every day. Eventually I set up a trip to meet her (in Russia) and things went amazingly well. We have met several more times and continue to talk every day. I for one feel very lucky. After two years of our long distance relationship (which neither of us ever thought would realistically work) we are going to get married this fall.
