I found your store by searching online and I am glad I found it! My order was delayed due to a stocking issue, but electricbargainstores.com contacted me in a timely matter to notify me of the delay. They wanted to be sure that I was okay with the delay, and I was. I'm confident that they would have attempted to help solve the issue if I needed it, promptly. I will use them in the future, as needed.
I was looking for a replacement hard wired smoke detector that was no longer manufactured. The old model had a set of pins in a line, and all of the replacement models had pins in a triangular configuration. I initially ordered replacements from a different on-line retailer, but had to return because they did not know about the change in pin configuration. The part I ordered form electricebargainstores.com came with an adapter so that I could plug the new smoke detector into the exiting plug, and I did not need to change the existing wiring. All told, it took longer to get the ladder out to change the smoke detector, than it did to make the change. I am glad that these guys figured out that you need a adapter with the new smoke detector, instead of just the new smoke detector.
So yes, I was happy with the product and the service.

electricbargainstores.com is wonderful! The pricing is amazing & customer service is always prompt & courteous. My only complaint is that the processing time is usually longer than expected (time from placing order to day of shipping is 3-5 days, when it shouldn't be more than 2, IMO).
VERY disappointed with how long it took to ship this item. We initially ordered this from a different vendor, and they shipped out the same day. However, they were one short, so I had to order from a different site, which is how I got to ElectricBargainStores.com. I ordered on a Monday, early, and the item DID NOT ship out until FRIDAY!
You guy's sell electrical items, well, I am sure many of your customers are in the construction industry. We were behind schedule due to this BS company and there long delay in shipping. We initially ordered from Mr. Supply, they shipped the same day, and they are on the east coast. I am not sure I will order from you guys again unless it is the ONLY place that has the item at a decent price (which was the case with this order), AND, I am not on a deadline! Unfortunately I discovered that I ordered the wrong product by mistake. I contacted customer service to arrange for a return. There was a slight delay before I was provided RMA instructions, but I now understand that this was due to a third party. No problems. Products shipped quickly. Installation was quick and easy. I really appreciated that I could search for my existing (obsolete) model number and electricbargainstores.com took that number and shipped the current equivalent with the proper plug adapter. I wanted to purchase two difficult to locate items. I was able to find exact replacements for both parts at electricbargainstores.com. I couldn't find them at any of the local small or big box hardware stores. That experience was very good, and sufficiently so that a week or so later, I purchased 2 more items. That experience was likewise very good.
Searched the Internet for quite awhile trying to find a replacement for a FIREX smoke detector. The model is discontinued. Finally found a comparable/compatible KIDDE unit at electricbargainstores.com. Even had the adapter so I didn't have to rewire! Very happy!
Not that happy with the item, but that is not electronicbargainstores fault. I bought a CREE LED bulb with a > 90 color rendering index, but find the light not very good at color rendering and lacking in sparkle. I bought one to see how it looked and now I have seen.
I called for more information on the product I ordered. It arrived shortly after my order was placed, in a sealed plastic bag but without the manufacturer's blister pack. Electricbargainstores.com explained they receive the product in bulk for contractors and repackage for online customer orders. They reassured me the product is fully warrantied and offered me a full refund if I wasn't satisfied. Lovely people to deal with exceptional customer service.
Product was easy to find and prices were competitive. I would not have purchased if pricing were more. The inventory was for the most part fairly "fresh" although the slower moving combo Photoelectric/Carbon Monoxide detectors were somewhat dated with a mfg date in **** (purchased in ****). If this happens simply contact BRK/FirstAlert to put it on record because the warranty is determined by date of manufacture. They are aware that older inventory exists and will typically allow "...around..." 8 to 10 months padding to their warranty period to allow for this even if you do nothing. I recommend putting it on record with BRK upon receipt of this type of product. This is nothing abnormal with ElectricBargainStores, just inherent in the nature of the smoke alarm beast. My overall experience with this vendor is positive.
