EJ Gift Cards

In November 2018, I purchaseda $864 Lowe's gift card for $734. I recieved the gift card by email. When I went to use it, Lowe's.com said it had a zero balance. I have purchased gift cards from EJgiftcards on 4 other occasions, with no problem. I submitted a claim for the gift card. After 2 weeks I finially called and was told that they were expecting a call from Lowe's. Well later on that day I received an email stating that the gift card had been used 12 months ago, and that I would receive a full refund in 14-21 business days. After the time was up, I started calling *******862, the number on the claim form that I had called before. There is a recording that says they are on the phone, and thats it. I tried emailing, with no reply. I finially contacted my credit card company and they resolved this for me. Please save your money on this company. Nothing but heartache and grief from lousy busines ethics...

I made a purchase on the site through the USDC cryptocurrency, but ejgiftcard canceled the purchase claiming that it did not receive the transaction. In my brokerage it says sent and the amount was debited from my account. That is, I was without my money and without the gift card, be careful when buying on this personal site, because you can be at a loss.
I sincerely believe that there should be other more secure payment methods, such as PayPal, for customer safety and convenience.

They are a scam operation. I don't understand how they have not been shutdown. I bought a Southwest gift card. The card was initially accepted, but then a couple of days later rejected by Southwest as fraudulent. I have emailed, submitted forms, left voice mails and two months later EJ have not refunded me or replaced the card (despite sending an initial response that a refund would be issued). I have of course engaged my credit card company BUT DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, THEY ARE SIMPLY THIEVES.

If you are looking for immediate or fast payout (as in one to two days), look elsewhere to sell. Now.

I sold a Target gift card. I didn't hear anything back for two weeks so I had to write them an email to inquire about the status. They wrote back a few days later, and I was finally paid out. The thing that irritated me the most is that when they used Paypal for the payout, the way they did it took out a Paypal fee from the payout! They are the first site I've sold gift cards to that Paypal took out a fee. The only reason I am not more angry with my whole transaction with them is that I sold such a small $ amount (thank goodness, or I'd be so livid). Lesson learned. Based on my personal experience, I will never use them again.

I will not say that they are a scam (for selling) because I did get paid out -- eventually. But I think it's probably a one man or very small team behind the site, maybe even a side business for someone who works full-time elsewhere and cannot dedicate their time 100% behind this. There are better sites out there to sell unwanted gift cards, people. My favorite so far for both buying and selling is Cardcash.com.

I recently bought a gift card for Ulta and within an hour of my purchase went to the store to use it. When I checked out at Ulta there was a zero balance on the card. Reached out to EJ because of their ONE DAY GUARANTEE on cards and they looked into and stated "Report: Investigation Closed. We have found that the Gift Card was used by the seller. A full refund will be provided within 7-8 days." That time has come and gone and no refund. You would think that since I just gave you my money for this gift card immediately THAT HAD A ZERO BALANCE ON IT they would refund you immediately with some type of apology or compensation which further proves that they don't care about their customers and are just scammers.
The reason that they only give a 1 day guarantee and send you gift cards with $0 balance on them is because this company is fraudulent and scams their customers. They hope that customers don't use the cards immediately so that they can claim that it is past their lame 1 day guarantee and just keep the money. Most other reputable gift card companies will offer at least a 45 day guarantee on their cards. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING SCAMMED OUT OF YOUR MONEY. You have been warned…

I purchased on-line gift card, but they send me a link, you can't access into, I request refund immediately, they acclaim need 14 to 21 business days to process, it's all LIE. They don't have phone call, ONLY Email to contact them. NOBODY respond.

IT'S a FRAUD website.
