They included a very bad instructor for the Postgraduate Program in DevOps at Purdue University, and when we complained about the instructor, they refused to do anything! I paid a lot of money for that program. Just use Udemy, everyone.
One instructor teaches ALL their DevOps courses. This is a scam.
Also, their customer service is a nightmare. I requested a simple invoice for my Full Stack Web Development Masters course for tax purposes, and after multiple emails, they keep sending the wrong one. Their support is unresponsive, and even after 30+ minutes on hold, no one picks up. Avoid them unless you want frustration and incompetence. I'll be escalating this issue further.
My experience with Edureka has been fantastic. The platform offers well-structured courses with industry-relevant content. The instructors are knowledgeable and explain concepts clearly, making even complex topics easy to understand. I particularly liked the flexibility to learn at my own pace and the real-time doubt resolution during live sessions. The projects and assignments were very practical, helping me apply what I learned. Their customer support is responsive and helpful too. Overall, Edureka has greatly boosted my confidence and skills, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their career or learn something new online.
Answer: Computer Science is actually a massive number of roles and skillsets, and you need to work out which particular skill set you want to have before you go looking for certification. First, you have to ask yourself what you want to do in Computer Science? Hardware or Software or Emerging technologies? While we answer this, we assume you are a fresher with no background in IT / Computer Science or an IT / Computer Science graduate (who could not get placed on Campus or off-campus drive) Second, based on your answer you take certification related to that area. Do note the following points which give actionable insights while choosing a Software Programming field: 1.) Decide & choose any Programming Language which you would like to learn. If you are confused like most unemployed youth then toss a coin & choose between Java & Python. 2.) Join a Live Online Training class. 3.) Simultaneously study and learn Basics of Computer Science. Conceptual clarity (Eg OOPS concept, Data structures, Algorithms, etc) is a must. 4.) Do at least two to three dummy projects. More the better. 5.) Once you complete dummy projects, start applying for jobs.
