It literally caused my computer to shut down. It gives me millions of ads that make my laptop slower and some of the ads don't even load because it's so freaking much. I have to use it for school and it's just a freaking burden to use even if it helps me cite my work.

Easybib provides an absolutely terrible service, it is filled to the brim with advertisements, slow as hell, and has extraneous pages which only exist to show you more advertisements.

I uploaded a 3 page article review for analysis. The numerous resulting recommendations/suggestions were not US standard English spelling and unfortunately, the system offered improper subject/verb agreement. I wanted accurate feedback, but instead, I'm having to critique a service that fails to provide.

Its like they tried to cram every single space possible with ads and then fill your page up with popups for their plagiarism service, plus making you watch even more ads

Super slow, makes my computer get VERY hot, oh and not to mention that there are upwards of FIVE ads on every page. AND you have to watch ANOTHER ad before you can make another citation! Also, you can't cite anything but MLA8 without making an account. Use Citation Machine instead. Easybib used to be good but now is a dumpster fire of a website.

There are ~25 ads on one page. There are usually at least a few video ads, which slow down my computer and make the website slow as $#*!. This website is almost as useless as an electric outlet in a bathtub. I strongly recommend that you avoid it.

This website is a terrible citation source. The website lags and stutters almost everywhere you go, and the ads pop up each time you so much as move on your screen. While I'm on the subject of the ads, the ads are at almost every corner of the screen, and for the pop-ups, they block your entire screen and don't allow you to do anything until they're done. The lagging is a huge problem, the website almost never runs smoothly, and when it does, its very brief and doesn't make a difference. I don't recommend this site.

It's literally more ad than website. Between the permanent ads and videos surrounding the site and the forced interaction ones after ever citation, this website is the most irritating one I've ever used. It was perfectly fine a few years ago but it's just utter trash now. It frequently deletes my lists, won't load, and crashes all the time. Please fix this, so many students are suffering because of it

I use to use easybib when it was simple and ran smoothly no matter how many tabs I had open. Now even if its the only tab open it runs extremely slow, overheats my laptop, and jumps all around the page because it loads in four ads that are all different sizes at one time. I have been working on an essay with my citations saved in a list, it randomly bugged out and erased all my lists just because I did not have a publisher on the citation I was making.

Originally easy bib was simple and useful for students of all age levels. Certain things were restricted but honestly, it wasn't anything major, I may even have been willing to buy. Once it was purchased by Chegg study it became awful. I understand a website needs to make money but easy bib crams every single possible surface with an advertisement to the point that the website runs extremely slowly. Even with a good computer. It is absurd.

There have been numerous times over the last months where I would have to start over on my citation lists. This didn't bother me at first until today. I left my laptop for a minute-A MINUTE- came back to add another citation to my citation list, only for the site to start glitching. It shuts me out, then makes me log back in again... my citation list-FOR MY FINAL SEMESTER PROJECT IS GONE. This isn't the first time it has happened, but this time pissed me off. I've been working on my project for the last 10 hours, and the easiest thing for my project has become the hardest.

I use to love this site back in high school(2 years ago), now its crap. I will no longer be using this site, there are better ones out there. Will be deactivating my account.

This company makes it very easy to sign up for a subscription, but very difficult to cancel. I tried to stop the service today and after an hour on the phone with two agents (the website links to chat or cancel were oddly not working) I was unable to stop the subscription. The reason? After providing them with over 5 pieces of identifying information, including the amount and last date the charges went through my bank, they were somehow unable to locate the account. So, they were unable to stop charging me. What? They explained that maybe there was a typo, or I didn't know what I was talking about regarding the email connected to the account. However, I pointed out that at that very moment when I was on the phone with them I was logged in to the account using the email I provided to them, so obviously the account is connected to that email. I think they are willfully ignorant when it comes to managing the database as this lets them make it very, very difficult to get a resolution for consumers, all the while continuing to charge customers. Somehow, when they want to get paid, they can find the account then, month after month.

Used to be a decent site, but now virtually everything is behind a pay wall that doesn't even work. I tried upgrading since the only citations you can get for free now are MLA, and then the whole site became infuriatingly unusable. I can no longer access my citation list, and every time I click something on the site, I get bounced back to the page asking me to input my credit card information for the easybib plus free trial (which I already filled out). Customer service is no help at all. Save your time, money and much frustration by using literally any other citation generator site. Heck, creating the citation manually would be easier at this point than using this garbage site.

Easybib used to be a tool where it was "Easy" to make bibliography and it went through the process without issue, and helped students learn how to do works cited, but now it had declines big time. Every time I've tried to enter the citation machine, it stops working and instead forces me to watch long useless ads for about 5 minutes. It's ridiculous, there's no skip feature, it forces you to watch the whole advertisement. Sorry Chegg, I don't care about your college election tracking or your Pro mode, I want to make a bibliography. It seems like Chegg has lost any respect for their users and instead use it as an opportunity to get some cash off some students who want to get work done and of high quality. Not to mention the site itself is atrocious, crammed and glitchy. This is 2020, coding a website isn't as advanced as it was. Looks like a site from 1998. I'm about to boycott this material is they really care about the money and nothing else.
