I booked on Monday, dropped off my parcel on Tuesday and it was delivered on Sunday (1day early). That was to Seattle from UK. I call that amazing. Post office is expensive and takes 4-5 weeks. I suspect only dissatisfied customers are leaving reviews.
Delivery driver never rings my bell, instead leaves my parcel in a public unsafe, unmonitored place, on a completely different floor to where I live for it to be stolen, huge sign with red writing says don't leave parcels there, he just ignores it and never delivers to my actual address/door, despite having the address and me being home. Ignores my notes in the safe space option which clearly states to do deliver to my door, and if I am not home leave it outside my door. This has happened over 17 times where he doesn't bother coming to my door.He has delivered to my actual address TWICE. He rings the bells of other flats to be let in, so he can leave it in the public place. Does not do his job properly
Don't ever use them, don't ever suggest them, manager can't speak to you, only after 2 hours, what's the point? He's still in my town but after 2 hours he's gonna be on a plane back to poesbekistan for all I know,drivers can't follow instructions, firstly didn't even come the first day, my lord, I'm beyond words...
Awful service. Driver actually ignored me as I asked him to leave it on doorstep as every other delivery company does. He walked off as I was saying please leave the parcel Today another DOD delivery and another guy same attitude was banging with his mobile and my knocker and letterbox so many times as I was saying please leave. Just decided to kick in my gate and drop the parcel in back garden after banging on gate and disturbing neighbours

I am still shocked that this company allows their drivers to do such a despicable thing: the driver arrived at my address and I saw him, his Dpd car, thorough the window as I was waiting him so I won't miss the parcel because there would be no one home for the rest of the week, and he just took a picture of the back of the house and drove off. I literally saw him doing this, and then I saw on my app that he missed me. I was standing right there and he did not even try to deliver the parcel, not one attempt. This parcel could not be put to a safe place or with a neighbour as it was an expensive item and I had to take it personally. So imagine my shock when I saw that driver(Cristian) doing that. And he probably won't suffer any consequences and continue doing this over and over. This is such a lack of respect for any client. I am stunned.
The worst delivery service I have ever had.
My parcel was not delivered for 2 days, due to "the driver could not find the apartment".
I was home these 2 days and the address was clear (can be found in Google Maps by postcode or address easily), still did not get any call or anyone trying to deliver.
On the 3rd day I have noticed that the address got changed automatically to a collection point far from my home.
Calling to DPD did not help at all, customer service was repeating that they can not do anything even if they did not have any evidence of the attempts of delivery (the pictures driver took were blur they said).
Clearly driver just did not bother trying to search for a building or call. Now I have to go to the collection point by myself, spent lots of nerves as well as some money. I guess DPD does not understand the meaning of the word "delivery".
Just received the most awful service from dpd, what's even worse is there is no customer service nor human support, no customer service email and no telephone number, buyer beware, for me I will never ship using this awful company again
Had two deliveries due today. Once again they failed to deliver. Made out they tried to deliver but I was out. There is always someone in. They have clear instructions to deliver to my safe place. Failed again. Then they send an email to say they missed me because I was out. A blatant lie. If I could I would give no stars. They are the most inept company going.
Even when they email you to choose a delivery option and you choose a local post office, they deliver to a neighbour! WHY! We may not be on good terms with them! Unbelievable how stupid these drivers are! Do they train them to be like this? I would never purchase an item that has DPD as a delivery service.

On 14/11/2022 I sent 2 bags from Sheffield to Aberdeen for next day delivery. One of the bag's was delivered 2 days later in the night and the other bag that has my 3 years old son medical report, his Jackets tamar wear and clothes hasn't been delivered, the driver said only one bag was given to him. In October we sent 6 bags from London and only 5 was delivered this is November 18th and the bag is missing. DPD should not be in existence they are very unreliable and it is a pattern to misplace your parcel
They do NOT even attempt to deliver! They do not ring the bell and just send you the email to go to some horrible chaotic shop to pick your parcel up, even if it's really heavy. It's happened so many times, I'm convinced it's basically what they do. And it's only with DPD that it happens. All the other delivery agencies I've ever known do actually try to do their job! DPD is the WORST!
Was expecting a delivery I paid extra for to be delivered a certain day. Was sitting, watching the door for half an hour and Was sent a text saying how they attempted delivery but nobody came to my door. I tried calling them twice and both times they hung up. Useless service without a complaints department. Wouldn't recommend

This service is useless. I gave the driver a safe location to leave my parcel and they said it's not safe. They showed up outside their estimate time, and hung up on me when i answered my call. Then they left before I could meet them to collect my parcel.
Calling them was useless. They just hung up on me, disconnected in the chat, and lied to me when they said they would call me back with a new delivery time.

I ordered a £900 I phone for my niece for Christmas and was messed around two days running as the phone hadnt arrived either dates as stated. 3rd delivery date given the phone was delivered, only to find that the phone had been stolen and replaced with two diaries. I am sure that the two delivery drivers that failed to deliver on the dates stated are in it together so that it can't just be pin pointed onto the of them. The manager was due to call me but I never heard anything back. Bad customer service to say the least! The driver that finally delivered the parcel was very helpful and I don't believe had any involvement at all.
They delivered my parcel to the wrong address. I tried to resolve it withthe customer service, but after more than 4 hours spent on the phone with (horrible and unresponsive) customer service, they still haven't been able to resolve the issue!
Awful service. The courier came by unannounced, on a Saturday; I rejected the phone call twice, he followed by 6 other calls + 1 rude sms to which I couldn't reply because of all the other calls he was frantically making.
He than took revenge on the parcel by assuming my identity and sending it back.

Absolute waste of space say delivery on a certain day and time. Never ring the door bell never knock the door take picturecof the house says redilivery next day same happens. Then end up colkecting from shop over a mile away.
I'm typing this on 3 hours sleep and fuming - I was expecting a few parcels this week and added on each of them a specific instruction "no knocking please, I work nights, leave behind back gate".
Lo and behold a driver called Mike bangs loudly SIX times between the front window, front door and back gate. I open the door and he sheepishly says "I thought I'd try knocking anyway".
They couldn't spare me ONE incident of being rudely knocked up on my front window because they wouldn't follow a simple instruction.
I had a parcel for pick-up, and they came and told me that it was a box and they would not pick it up because of the wheels. I rearranged pickup, only to receive an update that I was not available. I have been home waiting (after missing lectures) for DPD.
Both my orders at Matras.direct.nl webshop were delivered rapidly free of charge, in a great condition by a kind, polite courier on December 8 and December 9,2023.
Ordered coolgel top mattresses Blue Magic in sizes 120x200 and 90x200 and 2 molton waterproof fitted sheets for protection of the new mattresses. Delivery status could be checked via track & trace provided by seller Matras Direct. Great job!

DPD's courier service has significantly approved, as a few years ago their delivery service took 5 days and now it's delivered within 1 - 1.5 day!!

After my first order for my daughter and checking customers reviews beforehand at Matras Direct, I noticed that the quality is excellent and the webshop can be trusted, so I placed an additional order for myself.
I want you to be informed about the absolutely boorish behavior of your driver, he knocked and rang the doorbell without interruption, and then he spoke absolutely boorishly. I have never encountered such a service

I had a replacement faulty carpet cleaner from vax due to arrive via dpd. They tried delivery during the week, me and my wife were both at work, i paid for saturday delivery. It did not arrive, i enquired why i.was told there was a problem at the depot. It was sent out again Monday.,no one home. I called them again several times to sort a saturday delivery. They said download the app and do it from there. I downloaded the app. No option for saturday delivery. Called back again wanting to collect from local depot. They said i was not allowed to collect. I called customer services which were no help at all, even refused to put me through to a manager, totaly ignorent bunch of people, then they said i cant have the delivery as they have sent it back to vax. Do not use dpd
I ordered an iPhone yesterday it said it would be delivered today, I waited around waiting for the knock on my door when I checked the tracking website and it said it had been given to me and that there was photo proof. The package had been dropped 3 doors away from me. If I hadn't been running around looking to see what door it had been delivered to I would have lost the iPhone. Ridiculous.
The house number it was left out was written clearly on the door and was no where near close to my house number. To top it all off on the dod website said that " this item cannot be left in a safe place" as it's such an expensive item. Yet it was left out in the open on my neighbours front door. It even said that it had actually been given to me personally. I just want to alert people.
The delivery was postponed three times. Then we heard, from the supplier not DPD, that they couldn't find our house. So, without any message from DPD, our order was returned to the supplier.
Couldn't find our house? We have deliveries from Royal Mail every day and deliveries from other companies (Amazon Prime, Yodel etc) three or four times a week. Haven't they heard of Sat Nav or Google Maps? What a sad firm.

I'm waiting already for more than 24 days for a package that is in transit. When asking CS, they just say, contact the sender of the parcel. Euuuuh no, DPD is responsible as the package is already in their hand! Terrible!

Delivery man didn't call me nor knock on the door as I was at home whole day. He just sent me email saying they miss the parcel and will the parcet to the pickup shop and gave me the address which was in Heather park drive Wembley. N that address was 30 mins far n when I went there shopper keeper told me that parcel is not there in their store as no delivery man gave them the parcel... n when I called customer service they just told us that delivery man kept the parcel on some other pickup shop that is in eastlane harrow. But they didn't even update us or the called us saying the pickup address is changed. On top they are saying if you'll don't want to collect then the parcel will go back to the owner n you can call them.
Dpd is the worst courier service..
