Too many fakes and flakes, I like the concept of it. For what the site is, there is too much censorship, and a lack of filters is frustrating. Also there's a few users who spam post after post, and take up space.
Not too bad at all, just should be totally free than membership. But I do see the perks. Technically, I don't see the difference just paying for exclusive materials. I can do that with porn. Just saying.

It staggers me why you allow some ads on here.There is a guy on Guys for Guys who is asking if anyone owns a horse so he can play with the horses cxxk while the owner watches him and you let this ad go on Doublelist.I did flag this ad but I noticed its still showing! Really not good is it?
There are a LOT of fakers here (males posing as females), but every now and then I get lucky and find a real woman. Not nearly as good as old Craigslist personals, but better than nothing since the laws changed.
I was so upset when Craigslist took down their personals. I am pleased to have found this and begin meeting guys again. I have met 4 so far. Thank you.
The site has been great so far until I wanted to change my email address due to discretion so I deactivated my account to start fresh with my new email & it thinks I'm trying to have multiple accounts & locked me out saying my phone # is associated with existing account. I can't get any support either which is frustrating. Also if your post is in review & gets declined you have to start all over again instead of editing it. I currently don't know how to activate a new account with my #.
I like the site, but the biggest problem is that I never know when the posts from users were posted. It doesn't show the date they listed their add. So you don't know if you're replying to a post that is same day, maybe a day old, or two weeks old.
Was browsing through all of the ads for my area.not sure what I was going to find especially since I wasn't looking for anything in particular, just seeing what it was about and I must say doublelist was easy to navigate,updated with the newest ads for the current day it has easy to understand categories easy to post your ad like the way and how private and safe it is to reply to an ad. Remaining discrete until you want to privately share more personal info with others, great exotic stories from users of the site I've had some great conversations with others that also use the site! I never hear back form posts that I reply to. Then suddenly every post i try and create is flagged. Even very generic lets be friends and hang out type of messages. I emailed support and each time get the same template reply... useless.
I created a second account and seemed to be able to post messages and receive replies for a bit. Then same thing happens, no responses and unable to post ad.
I am able to renew ones that have already been vetted and they show up on the search. I had a friend try and reply to one of my posts and never received it. I also from both accounts tried to answer one of his ads and he never received it.
It also seems to go down frequently for a long period of time. I would say that It is a poorly run service at this point. I used to say I'd give it a 5 star but no more.
What Doublelist offers is a service by providing posts of people who may be interested in the same things that you are. The bonus is it is a place where you can seek without judgment. If you could filter age requirements here, that would be awesome, but hey, it's free, and beggers can't be choosy..
Really good casual encounters are diamonds in the rough. You have to do a lot of digging. Sometimes you find something that sounds exciting but turns out to be quartz. Keep going, the diamonds are there.

Due to certain issues, this site makes it incredibly difficult to actually post an ad and allow you to get across what you are after. It's understandable that certain words and activities are banned from use. And typically these cover illegal activities. But it, unfortunately, extends to other harmless words of which there is a list that we as consumers are not privy to.
You're required to have a phone number to sign up and once you've been banned from the site, your number is blacklisted. You're essentially left with forgetting about the site or acquire a new number. (In the event your number is acquired by someone else who attempts to sign up will be very disappointed). You're not told why and there is no customer support to help. They couldn't give a $#*!.
The site is litter with fakes and people wanting money. Honestly not worth it if they pull $#*! like this.
So far, my area the 805, doesn't have that many listings in my local. Sad, but I hold out hope as I have had some responses back. Just hoping one gets real. Do like the that it's a possibility whenever you're traveling. Kinda wish the search could be from a map within a certain set mileage out from the epicenter area you pick.

As social meeting sites go Doublelist has to be the easiest and most convenient one to use. The tech is low key so it's easy to use, postings are quick and directed exactly to the audience we look for and anonymity is kept until we decide to share email addy. And it's free without a sleazy atmosphere! Can't be beat
I like the site overall. I wish it would save your profile and add an option for bi. I like the story section but wish the stories got posted faster and you can select whether it's fantasy or true that way people would know. In addition, it would be nice if when posting a story it tells you if you exceeded the world count.
