Of all the sights like Doublelist that I've looked at, DL is the easiest and least complicated to navigate. I'm not good with computers or the internet, therefore, "Keep it simple for stupid," works best for me when it needs to be kept discrete and confidential.
This sight lets you be you. Has safety and doesn't let the Jerks or whiney butt hurt people ruin your posting. Is not super expensive and doesn't have nearly the amount of bots and spam all the other sites do.
Been messing with site on and off for a few weeks now. Haven't gotten any action yet but it looks promising. I've gotten a few replies but nothing turned serious. Few posts flagged but nothing different from old CL. Hopefully something turns up soon.
Finally a free simple straight forward place where like minded people can, get to the dang point.

I wish posts had dates since there are so few, the first page might be weeks old. I get posts rejected all the time but somehow obvious hookers get through. I'd like to pay a few bucks so that everyone is verified a little.
ALMOST all real people I think... I've met a few people here... The only option I really see, is there's no way to tell when ads were posted, so you might end up answering a 6mo old ad... And the algorithm used when creating an ad needs a bit fixing... It flags ads all the time so it can be difficult to create one at times... Other than that, I love it, been using since it first came out...

I've had quite a few responses but as of yet no takers. Bunches of fakes and flakes. I personally don't mind the guys who aren't sure or who are afraid of getting by their mate,but what is irritating is the number of guys who actually wanna make plans for a hook up with a great ending and just never show up or cancel it before hand. I've posted ads-rarely get a response. I've purposely picked ads and answersed them presenting myself as the perfect match to their ad. Have never gotten a response to those. Also, if you take the time to check out other cities you'll find a lot of ads that are mysteriously the same. My guess is they're fake ads posted by Doublelist to make their content seem bigger. My final complaint is that if you don't live near a major city then posting is useless. They need to add more places and try a lot harder. Conclusion: Give it a try if you want but don't expect anything.
I don't find the communication to be that good with sending messages back and forth. At the beginning all my emails were being redirected to a different email address. I think it may have just been growing pains and it seems to have gotten better. I am also noticing I'm getting more replys from bots that are just sending me to sex sites so I may need to stop using the site if this keeps up.

Overall, a good experience. Im glad to see that DL has lightened up on their photo policy. Would be nice if DL lightened up on their policing of word verbage in ads. Eg. Cum dump I cant use either one of these words. Also, If I'm trying to post my stats, I'm 50 years old, 5'11 255# 8'c THICK the ad police? Sees this as a phone number...can this be fixed?
Ur limited to a certain amount of responds per day, or replying to messages... it is over ran with gay posts, even in the heterosexual categories... and the sea that this lot comes from... must be sorta like a nuclear dumpsite from the 80's...
It's been pretty decent. There are quite a few bugs on my mobile though. Tried to enter my credit card info while on google and it would let me put my name, but would not let me select any of the bars after that. Finally got my payment info enter on safari, but when I tried to make a post, I would get all of the way to the end and then it would say that the page couldn't be found. I like the page and what it can be used for, just need to get rid of bugs.

The site mostly consists of the same small group of people looking for the same thing they were looking for last week. There's much better ways to find a date and find a verifiable person and not a bunch of random people. There is a few good connections I have had from here but for the most part it's the usual suspects. The site has never been updated with features and it has always set the filter feature is coming soon, coming soon is like next year not like 5 + years later and still no changes come on.
Reminds me of the good old days Craigslist personals but this is better real ads and real people so I hope it stays this way still haven't had a reply so not sure if it's working or I'm just not what they are looking for im gonna try and make my own post and see if that's any better. I would give 5 starts but sone functions just aren't there like is there more than one pic im sending or is it replacing the previous pic? Does not deserve one star. Site wastes a lot of everyone's time, as guidelines are so tight you cannot describe what you want so you get responses that are not a match. They also flag posts and freeze accounts without explanation; regardless if what you post fits within their own guidelines and terms. Sad site.
Have had no issues meeting new fun like minded people. Only thing I'd change is slightly more moderation in posting categories example being lots of people that are gay looking for straight posting under straight for gay and not the correct gay for straight it's a thing with all the categories not just that one kinda muddies the water when finding friends
It's been fun and a good experience, have had my ad flagged before but that was because I wasn't interested in the person. There are quite a lot of creepy people but still there's some good people as well.
I am fairly new to DL, I have not met up with anyone yet but have talked to a few people. My only issue is the same people posting and a lot of them are very rude when you reply or they just ignore you. What has happened to common courtesy where you reply regardless of whether you are interested or not.
