These people care nothing about the work you not into to your account, they will ban you with no notice and give you no reason for it. Don't bother trying to contact them and asking about it, they will blatantly ignore you. Find a better alternative, don't waste your time

I don't know of another site in the bay area that is a free hook up forum since craigslist died. I find the general quality of people on doublelist to be flaky most of the time. I have had so many ghosting experiences. Perhaps that is due to the fact that there are so many men and so few women proportionally, but I have had very little luck here, and Craigslist was very good to me. Life has changed…

I have no idea how or why this website has a 5 star rating. I've been on it for a few weeks now and sent out 25 to 50 emails on and not even a nibble. I would send a msg with my email phone number and a pic with a sexy msg and nothing, I'm not sure if it's something to do with the fact that I'm white or not but it seems to me it's all about bbc this or bbc that but it's to much, you'll sent there read and read and read and send send send and nothing, I'm constantly checking my spam folder and other folders but no email. I hate to say it but I'm starting to realize that it very well could be a racial issue, I'm trying to start anything but if so that's not cool at all. If that's the case then they need to take down the site. I've even played around with the website to see if there's a msg folder on the site and nothing. I've had lots of success with DL. Just wish users weren't not allowed to flag posts and cause them to be deleted without cause. Several petty jerks flag posts they either don't like or who spurred their attempts to hookup. Then there are the posts under Gay for Straight and Straight for Gay, which are the same guys posting, sometimes the same posts in multiple categories. It renders the categories as useless and meaningless catch-alls. Don't know how you could prevent that
I haven't hooked up yet but it's not because this site I could have a few times it's a great site the way it's set up and all just simply look through the adds and send a email to anyone you want to connect with

This would be such a better experience if you add dates and times that the ad was posted. There have been May times I've responded to an ad that was posted near the top and it's a week old and new adds get pushed to the bottom
