I was on here reading some of the negative reviews and a lot of the reviews don't reflect the main experience. Dorksidetoys is a solid toy retailer, and while they are admittedly my second avenue of getting collectibles, they have always come through pretty well. Are they perfect? There are a couple of things I would suggest they do different like status/tracking/communication in certain parts, but they have always come through for me.

You should go to a show that they also attend and talk to those guys. Always have good conversations with them and always end up buying too much at their booth because I want to support them. I don't know if they still do this since the pandemic, but they have several times offered me to tour their facilities (I live about an hour away from them). Haven't taken them up yet, but one day I may do that for my site. If you had a bad experience (and who hasn't with most online retailers) I say give them another try and see if they are worth it.

This company doesn't guarantee that they will ship your order with any urgency. Do not pay for expedited shipping because they will wait three business days to even ship the order out. If you ask for a refund on the service you were not provided then they will tell you it isn't their problem. I do not recommend purchasing from Dorkside Toys.

I placed my order 9 months ago and I still have not gotten it. I originally placed an order for 4 items and decided to wait till they were all in. Half the order they had in stock and the others had a 2 month back order. 7 months later I'm still waiting and they haven't sent any kind of update or apology letting me know whats going on. I will be going to other suppliers for the same products to pay more so I can avoide this company. This is pathetic!

If they have items in stock, you're good to go. Quick shipping, and good prices. However, don't even think about pre-ordering anything. For some reason, it's like they are the VERY LAST to get anything in stock. I've had items on pre-order for MONTHS after the items have been in stock on other websites, or even in retail stores. I will not be pre-ordering anything from them in the future.

This site does not give proper refunds. The site closed my previous account, I ordered as a guest, cancelled my order since I was able to get my product quicker through another site then they told me I got store credit. I do not have an account. How can I have store credit with no account? They told me to place an order on their site then email them to get credit. I have to give them more money and trust them to give me my money back to get a refund. Avoid this company at all costs.

In May of 2022 we placed an order for figurines. After our card was declined we tried again (huge mistake!). To our surprise BOTH charges were ultimately processed for THE SAME ORDER.
I immediately contacted Dorkside (via email) to remedy the issue. Was told there's nothing they can do. Was told by Dorkside the only thing we could do was return the items once we received them. We did just that in June when we FINALLY received them.
To this date (August 2022) nothing but excuses and lies and now all our emails are returned as unable to deliver.
We were scammed and will never use this company again!
I will be reporting this theft to my bank.
Do not take the risk. It's just not worth the headache. So many other reputable business to buy from instead.

They took my money and didn't get anything in return. They wouldn't even refund me. They're just thieves and scam artists. Screw you dorkside, I'll stick with bigbadtoystore. Hope you shut your doors and go homeless!

Made purchases on 8/22 was billed and paid. They created a label for FedEx but never shipped the my products. After days of checking, the items were still marked as in their store. I sent them emails asking for status, they were non responsive.

After I made this review, Dorksidetoys finally sent me an email, "We apologize for the delay, Louis. Your order shipped and is in transit with USPS tracking number XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Please let us know if you have any other questions or if we can assist you further. Thanks!

Guess I am not going to get a refund for the extra that I paid for shipping.

This company is a joke, I pre-ordered a black series figure from this place and nothing, no communication had to reach out to them to find out what was going on with preorder. They responded with ooops we sold more than we got. I waited 5 months to get told to cancel my order or you buy it somewhere else if I see it! Do not bother preordering things if they aren't going to honor their commitment. This place sucks save your money and shop big bad toy store, they honor their preorders.

Ordered several BS star wars figures. One was 40th anniversary Lando. I got ROTJ skiff Lando. No response from them after sending receipt and pic. Will use someone else.

After pre-ordering an item in early October from BBTS for a birthday in October, I found this company in December that had the product in stock. I canceled with BBTS as they had still not processed it. I ordered with Dorkside Toys, and received my package super quick! It is a legit Necca.

I have been ordering from Dorkside for about 10 years and have never had an issue. They are definitely one of my main "go to" online retailers.

Preorders take a solid year to ship. Any estimated ship date will be pushed months farther multiple times. Avoid this scam site.
