The ARH-VPR2 Radio Replacement / Amp Retention Kit For 1996-02 Dodge Viper was of the worst imaginable quality. The circular DIN connector had two pins connections reversed internally. The line-out audio signals' ground wires were mostly cut off, leaving only a few strands making contact. But those few strands were making intermittent contact with the DIN connector's circular metal shield, causing a noise problem that it took me days to figure out. And even the rectangular connector was horrible; it had a pin inserted at the wrong position which they didn't bother to extract. The low quality kit turned what should have been an easy and fun stereo installation into a 4-day nightmare.
Tip for consumers:
It was six days between placing the order and getting an order confirmation. Although I got the item I ordered, that delay was a bad omen of things to come.
