They will charge you an initial amount of $28, calling it an eligibility check, but in my case, my router wasn't even locked to the network they mentioned (MTN). It was locked to Rain. This shows their complete lack of professionalism and honesty. Please, good people, avoid them at all costs and save your hard-earned money. The positive ratings you see here are likely fabricated by the scammers themselves to lure unsuspecting victims. They have a network of accounts on Trustpilot that post fake positive reviews to make their scam look legitimate. Do not fall for their traps. Spread the word and warn others about these fraudulent activities. DirectUnlocks is a menace to consumers, and their business practices are unethical and predatory. Took over 20 DAYS to unlock! And spent the 100 to get it unlocked immediately. And bc of the longest waiting time. I now have unlocked my phone for no reason. So direct unlock wasted my time and my money. Sent multiple emails stating that the almost month wait was too much, and wanted a refund but was declined! 0/10. Had to put one star just to even write this review but that's the only reason I put one star. Highly disappointed and definitely not satisfied.
FALSE ADVERTISING. Again only put one star bc I had to, but sent multiple emails stating the almost month wait was too long. Wanted a refund and was told multiple times that I could not get a refund bc it was too late in the process. But didn’t get my phone unlocked til 2 weeks later!!! I feel lied to. Forced to get something that I was not satisfied with. 0/10. Definitely not satisfied and definitely not happy. Was trying to unlock my phone to sell to a friend. Bc of the month long wait they went else where and now I’m stuck wit a phone that I paid 120 dollars to get unlocked for no reason. Highly highly disappointed. This service was flawless in the end. It took 24 hours and when 24 hours was up no unlock code was received. So I used online support. They advised be patient as there are times they need to use more than one means. Two hours later. Perfect. Unlocked successfully. FYI. Some people complain about a two step pricing structure. One price to verify if your phone qualifies. If so then a second charge to unlock the phone. This was not any tricky scam on their part. The pricing schedule is indeed disclosed upfront. So no worries folks. Totally satisfied with them at least for my S24.

I've never unlocked a phone myself before I normally would take it to someone to do it. But this site made it straight forward and simple.

Bought a phone that was locked! Cell provider I have could/would not assist. Sent me to local hack. Who wanted big bucks with no guarantee.
Enter Direct Unlocks I found researching the internet for a solution. Good reviews, price reasonable, and a quick response.
Signed up for stage 1 to ensure phone was not stolen or illegal, very quick response clearing the way. Signed up for stage 2 and received my unlock codes very quickly, and it worked!

Tip for consumers:
At no point during the transaction was it mentioned that there would be an eligibility check for which I would be charged $28. This lack of transparency is unacceptable. Furthermore, the eligibility test they claim they performed was evidently flawed and deceptive. My router was never locked to the MTN network, as they claimed. It was locked to the Rain network, which clearly demonstrates that thei eligibility test is inaccurate.

Direct Unlocks provided an excellent service! I bought a phone that was "supposedly" unlocked but in reality wasn't. This company verified my phone could be unlocked then completed the unlock in a few days.
Very responsive and answered my question.

Don't fall for this scam, I paid $100 to have it unlocked, they tell me it can't be done and that the refund is from the same company, after I tried with another SIM, which now costs another $50, I do not recommend this app, it's a scam. I recommend using another app, this one is risky and if it goes wrong they won't refund your money.

My phone was declining a new sim card so I realized it may be locked. I purchased the service of Direct Unlocks to try to unlock my phone. When I submitted the unlock request using my phone's imei number, Direct Unlock was able to view the carrier it was locked for. A day later, Direct Unlocks informed me that there was a balance outstanding on my phone (which was obtained through a corporation) and offered me favorable terms so resolve the payments. I paid the additional amount and my phone was unlocked a week later. The process was extremely easy and relatively transparent. I had a very positive experience with Direct Unlocks.

They did good with unlocking my card, I wish they just gave you notice of the two time charge. But it was worth it. My phone worked perfectly upon activation which is exactly what I was looking for. I came to know directunlocks when Im trying to sim unlock my niece's phone. I just took my chance since the reviews I read about them is good and many are satisfied with their service. I was amazingly easy. I paid the fee's and in 2 and a half days they sent me 2 codes to unlock my phone. I entered in the first one, and just like that, boom, unlocked. Direct Unlocks saved me approx. $1000. THANK YOU!

Having tried to install a new sim into an old phone I was struggling to get it activated. Having realised the phone was sim locked I found Direct Locks. My suspicious nature questioned their claims. Having submitted the details I got a quick response confirming that remote unlock was possible. Having submitted the appropriate fee it only took a few minutes to see the phone unlocked and fully functional. I am extremely grateful that the service was exactly as claimed. It has meant my elderly mother has access to my old iPhone giving her access to the world and reassurance she can call for medical help.

I tried to go through EE but wouldn't work. Decided to try a payed service and used the first result. I had an extremely underwhelming amount of information given to me when my unlock got delayed but eventually I got my code.
