Employer Dental Insurance just ended with my wife's retirement. Of course a crown broke 3 days later. Wife's dentist office told her about DentaCard. Sign up was easy and Melissa was what all companies just have a customer service representative. Will be saving almost 50% for this repair. Hope the other savings are just as good.
I have been using Dentacard for 4 years now. I don't have dental insurance coverage so it helps to get a break on the dental charges for various services.
I called the number on the paperwork to renew my service for the year and was thrilled to find out how easy it was to do over the phone. This plan has saved me lots of money over several years and I am happy to have it. When I called and spoke to Eric, I expected to have to dig out old paperwork to answer his questions. But he only asked a few questions and I was all signed up. Very nice, Eric. Thank you.
This plan is really good. It saved me 40% on my crown procedure and it's a very affordable plan. I almost didn't believe it was going to work because it sounded too good to be true, but it has saved me lots of money.
I have been very pleased with the DentaCard. We had it for a year. We signed up because we knew we had some extensive dental work coming up and saved several hundred dollars right away. The question was whether or not we would renew it again this year but we decided it was well worth the investment for our family. Hoping we don't need too many discounts, but glad to know they're there if we do.
I was so surprised when my dentist told me about the benefits of DentaCard. I have been using it for about 4 years now and am thrilled with how much they will cover. Since having DentaCard I am going to the dentist more often for preventive care as I save so much money using DentaCard. The premium is so reasonable and I do not think the premium has increased since I first joined. I highly recommend signing up for DentaCard.
Experienced a problem trying to signups by internet. Was able to complete signups easily by phone.
For those who don't have dental coverage from Medicare or orther sources, this discount plan is a huge help in reducing out of pocket spending to maintain good dental health. I highly recommend it and if your dentist doesn't participte in this program switch dentists. We did.
The savings are well worth it... if you use it more than two times in year.

Not sure why you charge a One Time $10 processing fee - wouldn't that just be a cost of doing business? And, why would this be a "ONE Time Processing Fee" if you charge for it every year?

Omgggg this saved me. I have absolutely no dental insurance and this was offered to me at my dentist office. I paid a $130 yearly cost for my sister and I which cut my dental price for fillings and tooth removal in half. Honestly this is better than insurance.

I was able to sign-up on-line for the family plan without any problems. The chat support was available in case I had any questions. He was helpful and very pleasant. So all in all, the easiest sign-up I have ever done. I would recommend this plan to anyone with or without dental insurance. Having just retired with cobra dental just too expensive, this will be very helpful for our dental needs.

We are sorry for any confusion. "One Time" was a clarification we added because we had a number of members who thought it was a recurring monthly fee. So we added the "One Time" to help clarify that it is only a one time annual charge. We are working on different ways to word this and are open to new ideas. What is the $10 one time fee?
We didn’t want to simply raise our price because in the 15 years we have been in business we haven’t once raised our prices. But we did want our members to know why there is now this additional cost. There are a number of reasons we had to add this fee in recent years. First and foremost when a plan is purchased, even if we do not mail a physical membership card, a number of non-refundable fees need to be paid regarding discount plan regulations, network fees, and compliance fees. When someone requests a refund, there is no way for us to get those fees back. It’s the old one bad apple ruins it for everyone scenario. Additionally, in recent years states have enacted a number of additional regulations and audits for discount plans which have driven our costs higher and have made it harder for us to service our members. We will always continue to strive to keep our plan cost down and we appreciate your understanding. We love providing great customer service and we greatly appreciate our loyal customer base.
