Deal Dash has great products and will back up any products sent to you, that may have an issue. I had a chair that broke in shipping and they immediately replaced it and made the return easy at no cost to me. I am happy with their platform and service. My most recent purchase is terrific. New soft and luxurious sheets for my bed. Thanks DealDash!
This site could be a good thing but seems like it might be going downhill. I have seen 2 times now within 2 days were a person has bought a $25 gift card for $30+ dollars, and that does not make sense. Almost like there are insiders just driving the bids up. I don't trust this site anymore due to this. I would rather find a good price elsewere and just pay. I spent a bunch of bids and it seems like I was up against a bot with unlimited bids.
There's no way to win any of the items unless you throw so much more money at them than they are worth. It's a game of gambling that you will lose.
Keep having that add one bed and someone keeps overeating you until the item is more expensive than just going out and buying it off the shelf in a store.
Hi Mandy. Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear about your frustrations with the auctions. You may occasionally see the auction price for an item exceed its value during 'Time as Highest Bidder' or free auction promotions. DealDash doesn't limit the bidding in these auctions or advise people how to bid so this does happen in certain conditions. For example, some users are interested in achieving free bid rewards by leveling up their 'Time as Highest Bidder' and playing numerous bids during promotions. Then if they lose the auction, they will purchase the item at the Buy it Now price to receive all their bids back on top of gaining the free bids. However, this can be a risky strategy as the user who wins the auction would not have the option to buy the item at normal price and is not eligible to have their bids credited back to their account. They would still have the option to exchange the item to a specific credit amount, although this value may be less than the amount of bids they spent. We would love to assist you further and answer any additional questions you may have! Please feel free to reach out to us directly at support@DealDash.com. We're available 24/7! Looking forward to hearing back from you!
The same people win all the time! They appear to have unlimited bids, and enter multiple auctions at once. Do not like the new format and doubt I will continue playing once my bids are gone. It's just too hard to win these days!
The fact that I have to bid against people who have a seemingly infinite number of bids to spend as the purchase their monthly limits. I can't compete, especially against the more prized auctions, with those who have to have a source of funding, buying and reselling on eBay, etc. I even know personally of stores that sell the products auctioned on DealDash.
Yes I have complained but get the same response.
DealDash wouldn't be in business if it were not for this grand deception.
Hi Brett, we're truly sorry to hear about your frustration and we appreciate you sharing your concerns with us. We understand that bidding against others with more bids can be challenging. We hold all our users to the same monthly limitations and strive to maintain a fair and enjoyable environment for everyone. We would love to assist you further and help improve your experience. Our customer service team is always available to at support@dealdash.com. We have always prioritized transparency and honesty in our operations and appreciate customers like you who shares their honest feedback with us. Thank you again for your review and looking forward to hearing from you!
In reflecting, my first exposure to DealDash would give a great example of how they operated. And I would understand that all the very nice-sounding people in customer help were just that. They did take my advice on their commercials, which is what attracted me to the website. I filed a complaint with the FTC. Emailed and spoke with the friendly people telling them their commercials where false and misleading. (Are you tracking with me?) Their commercials would say something like - I bought this on DealDash for ten dollars and it cost $100. There was no mention of what the bids cost that you have to purchase to bid on auctions. That, especially to new people can be a substantial amount. You will notice NOW a small written disclaimer at the bottom of their ads.
My biggest complaint, and why I rarely am on their website anymore, is the disparity between old-timers and new-timers and the number of bids the old-timers keep throwing down. I took notes of the bidders to assist me. What I found out was there were people who had been on the site for years. They bid for numerous items throughout the day, every day. I knew how I had to covet my bids and what I saw was a never-ending supply from old-timers. I complained many times and was always told by the nice people that they would forward it up to the decision-makers. I would go to eBay and see many of the items from their website on sale. I explained to them that people with so many bids were either independently wealthy or they had enormous amounts of free bids that I didn't come close to having OR they were being funded by their purchases and resale of items.
The quality of their products is remarkably good. That is what keeps me coming back to look for stuff. I was able to buy a robot mop for $40 plus bids for our church as we look to use these machines to replace paying people to clean the church's floors. Again it needs to be repeated - their products are remarkable.
Have I ever heard from the higher up people or have they addressed my complaints? Crickets.
Paying for every bid is a joke. People think they're getting a good deal because they got an ipad for $150 but the increments take so long to get there you have to spend $300 in bids to keep it going and even if you lose, you are still paying for the bids on something you didn't even win.
Hi Logan, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your DealDash experience. We understand how frustrating it could be when the competition is tough and you’ve invested much of your time and bids in the auctions. We do not hide that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and the vast majority of our customers are repeat users who come back because they get amazing deals, even with the cost of bids included! Additionally, we have a unique feature called "Buy It Now" that allows you to purchase the item you were bidding on at its regular price and get not only the item itself, but also all the bids you used in that auction back. Moreover, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee on your first purchase of bids so you can try us out without any risk. I have issued that for you now and sent your refund details via email. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. Our customer support team is available 24/7 to assist you. Have a great day!
What a scam! This should be illegal. Buy bids for 13 cents to raise the bid 1 cent. Who ever heard of an action where you have to buy bids? There are a handful of winners and a whole bunch of loosers, and deal dash rakes in the cash. It reminds me of the old pyramid scheme. Run away!
Hi Gordon! Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your opinion of DealDash! We do not hide the fact that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and our business model is a rather unique twist on auctions where you pay to bid. However, we understand that this may not be for everyone, so we do have a money-back guarantee for all customers on their first purchase of bids so that they can try us out risk-free. We have been in business since 2009 and we continue to persist precisely because we have an absolute dedication to integrity. We're audited yearly, have done several 3rd party audits of the auction bidding itself, and we're an A accredited business with the BBB. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us directly - we hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you for your review! I'm very sorry to hear of the trouble here! We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding. We typically use the Username as a greeting in our emails (if the first and last names are unavailable on the account), but never the password. We deeply value our users' privacy and security and we would never intentionally do anything that would jeopardize this. We would love to look into this further for you! Please feel free to reach out to us directly at support@dealdash.com, we're available 24/7! Looking forward to hearing back from you!
It has become harder and harder to get a good deal on any item on DealDash. I find myself overpaying for what I could have purchased the same item on Amazon or at SAMS Club:-(
Hi Herbert, we're very sorry to hear that you're finding it harder to score the deals you would like on DealDash. As a competitive bidding platform, it can sometimes be challenging to win an auction, especially when there's a high demand for a particular item. We truly value you letting us know how you feel and regret any frustration you've been experiencing lately. We've reached out to you directly to gather more information and assist further. Looking forward to hearing back from you!
This website is so under regulated. I have no doubt it will be under investigation in the next 12 months.
VERY misleading, very TRICKY and SCAMMY. Be warned, they make it sound easy and you'll find yourself spending hundreds of dollars and getting NOTHING. If you do win anything you'll find it's pretty poor quality.
Tip for consumers:
SCAM. UNTRUTHFUL. UNFAIR. FALSE ADVERTISING!
Thank you for sharing your review with us Michael. I'm sorry to hear of your experience. We've now reached out to you directly and look forward to hearing back from you!
Normally I don't do reviews at all but when I clicked on the deal dash site and filled out a username and created my new account, just to look at their stuff it charged my card 72 dollars! Now I didn't see nothing about a membership fee or anything to that effect of them even charging my card! Thankfully on my bank account I had just under 70 dollars in there so it declined that purchase! So please guys read EVERYTHING or you could be like me and get charged for just trying to look at their inventory!
Tip for consumers:
They should tell people before they create an account that it's going to charge them money before they create it
Hi Jacqueline, sorry for the inconvenience here. DealDash is a pay to play auction website and you can learn more about us here: https://www.dealdash.com/help
The TV ads were misleading. I got X for 10 dollars! You are not informed that: a) you have to purchase "bid credits" (which should be added to the cost of the item); and b) the auctions take hours and hours and hours. I spent 6 hours bidding on two items. DealDash embodies the old adage: if it seems too good to be true...
Thank you for your review and we're sorry to hear about your disappointment. We aim to make our model clear to users, so we're truly sorry if you did not find this to be the case! The prices displayed in our ads include the cost of bids. We do not hide that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and the vast majority of our customers are repeat users who come back because they get amazing deals, even with the cost of bids included. :) All of our customers are also entitled to a 100% no-questions-asked refund on their first purchase of bids - giving the service a try is risk-free! Let us know if you have any further questions, we're available 24/7!
You will find some users have been members for several years. Those same users must be bots, workers, or something to that effect. Those users will bid on multiple auctions 24 hours per day. So in effect, this means that each of these users is literally spending thousands of dollars daily. I assume the implementation of these bots keeps the paying customers coming. I've spent hundreds and received nothing. Total Scam.
Tip for consumers:
Do not fall for it.

Thank you kindly for your feedback Jason. All users on DealDash are real users such as yourself and employees are strictly forbidden to participate in the DealDash auctions. We have been around for over 10 years and its more valuable for us to provide a great bidding experience for our users long term. Please reach out to support@dealdash.com so we can turn your experience around, we look forward to hearing back from you!
You have ones that have such great bidding power. They wait for a newbie to run the bid up to about $5 then the Old deal dash members scramble and take over The newbie lose all their bids. Power in numbers. The only chance way to win is to buy a $#*!load of bids 600+ You pay more than it's worth because you just want to win to recoup your lost bids. This site isn't new user friendly at all. Deal dash is not fair to most. You have to many Bidding bullies. I think I'm just going to delete my account. No real chance
Hi Devon, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. There are many factors that can go towards the auctions such as numbers of bidders on that auction on a particular day, the promotion we are running for that day, the bidding strategy users are using, and the popularity of the item itself. We also offer a money back guarantee on the first bid pack purchase, along with a second chance guarantee for your first win on DealDash. Kindly reach out to support@dealdash.com and we will be more than happy to turn your experience around!
You can buy $50 in bids which is say 20 bids you bid 20 times and after every bid someone out bids you so on bid 21 your out of bids down $50 but others keep bidding and since it only goes up 1 cent if no one bids after the time limit say after bid 22 it sells for 22 cents alot of people loose alot of money that's how these "deals" are paid for its a legal twist of words for people who take the easy way out instead of trying to run a actual business. Not founded in the USA enough said!

Hi Jon, thank you for your comment. We do not hide the fact that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and our business model is not based on tricking customers into purchasing something they don't understand, rather it is a unique twist on auctions where you pay to bid. That said, even when including the cost of bids and the final price paid, the vast majority of auctions are bought for less than retail price. We have thousands of extremely loyal customers who have been with us for years, have scored countless incredible deals, and LOVE the intense, strategic, pay-to-bid auction model that we offer. However, we understand that DealDash may not be for everyone, so we offer a 100% money-back guarantee on your first purchase of bids, no questions asked, so trying us out is risk-free. If there is anything we can do for you, please reach out to our amazing customer support team. Have an amazing day!
In my experience auctions are far from fair or honest. The past winners info lures the bidder in but the actual amount needed to produce a winning bid is MUCH higher. As an experiment I entered 25-30 auctions, and at least 90% of the time the bidding reached totals 2-3 times the average amount required to win earlier auctions for the same item. New bidders seem to pop up out of nowhere when it seems like you are close to a successful outcome. Seems likely that bot bidding is going on.
Hi Jeff. Thanks for sharing your concern with us. Please note that we get periodically audited by Ernst & Young to ensure that there's no bot bidding on our website. We guarantee that 100% of the bids placed are placed by real people. If you wish to see the results of the audit, I'll be happy to send them to you. Please feel free to contact me on my personal email: adrian@dealdash.com
Total scam. Got charged $70.00 instantly, Don't know why.
They should tell you all charges before becoming a member.
We're sorry for the inconvenience here Maria. DealDash does operate on a pay to participate model where bids are required to be purchased in order to participate in the auctions. Just reach out to support@dealdash.com and we will be happy to assist with a full refund, thanks!
I won a $500 auction that I guess only a paid deal dash employee auto bidder is only supposed to win fair and square for $16 and change and they just closed my account without giving me the option to pay for what I have won. I guess real paying customers are not supposed to win auctions like that are only supposed to win simple $10 gift cards and sort of things like that which is pretty lame for the price that they charge for bid packs. Well they have closed my account and will not even give me a response as to why they have closed my account they simply just refunded me my bid pack. Hey deal dash I want to PURCHASE they item that I won fair and square against your bid bot even though you will never admit that you even have one. You can not be mad that I simply out smarted you guys and I am not trying to cheat you even thou you are clearly trying to cheat me and every paying customer that you guys have. By you guys not letting me pay the full dollar amount of the auction total on $16 and change proves that you guys are a scam and should be shut down. I am highly pissed off as to why I am only hearing crickets from you guys from this incident. To anyone out there beware you will loose. Even if you are lucky enough to win you just know that you will lose in the end because and they will abruptly shut down your account or give you some lame excuse. This site is a scam and should be more than sued. They should just stop getting business! There whole organization should be shut down and should no longer be profitable anymore. If you are reading this and decide to go for this bogus company than dont say I didnt warn you. And just stop helping crooks would be the ladder. Just be aware that you are spending $30 on a bid pack just to be allowed to win $10 gift cards. Does that seem far to you. Who is actually winning when the bids are 11/13 cents a piece and you still have to pay the price of the auction and shipping. The cars, apple ipads, anything over figurines, etc... only "deal dash bots" are winning those. Just look at who is always winning. And if you get lucky... SMH... shut down... Get real. I should have listened to the reviews myself that's a shame on me. I'm sticking with Ebay they are more reputable than deal dash and you actually win your auctions!

On DealDash, we take our motto of "fair and honest" auctions very seriously. Any user that breaks our terms of use will have their accounts closed down by our compliance team. Users are able to create only one account on DealDash and creating multiple accounts on DealDash is a serious violation of our terms of use, which can result in account closure. Have a lovely day!
You will be CHARGED without realizing it when you explore their site. VERY UNSCRUPULOUS! Avoid this site.
Hi Steven, we're sorry for the confusion here! DealDash is a pay to play auction site where bids are required to be purchased in order to participate in the auctions. However, we do have a 90 day full money back guarantee on the first bid pack purchase, so kindly reach out to us at support@dealdash.com and we will be happy to assist you with a refund.
Elite bidders that have the money to spend and have done the research on each item's value when sold in various avenues (turn-key, social media, ebay, etc.), will win when it benefits them. However, persons new to auction style selling/buying will be eaten by the sharks with experience.
Hello Tucker,
Thank you for your most honest, invaluable feedback here and I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way.
Your feedback is extremely important to us and we ensure that it is heard by the entire company.
To address your concerns about frequent users and the possibility of reselling auction wins, we take these reports seriously as reselling is an unequivocal violation of our terms of service. I have forwarded this to our dedicated team moderating the auctions full time to look further into.

This is a complete scam they don't tell you the bids that you buy are just to bid they don't cover any of the actual price of the products so if you spend 80$ bidding then you win the 10$ Gift card to Burger King you won the bidding at 9$ you still have to pay 9$ for the card so the 10$ burger king card just cost you 89$ what a scam! I feel Like I got robbed I want my money back Please

Hi Michael, thanks for the review. DealDash is indeed a pay to play website and we are very transparent on how DealDash works which you can view here: https://www.dealdash.com/help/how-it-works. We have a full money back guarantee on the first bid pack purchase, so feel free to reach out to us at support@dealdash.com, Thanks!
So you log into dealdash and they decide what you can and can not bid on. For instance if you got 100 bids and went in they will let you win something trivial like a 10 dollar gift card to Burger King or something that costs them nothing to give away. That way you can't say you got scammed because they will claim you won an item, even though you can not really win the bigger items you want to. So then you buy more bids hopeful to bid on bigger things, but someone will always outbid you because they have computer systems set up to auto bid. I personally think they are fake bidders to drive prices up so the average consumer will pay big money for low cost merchandise. DealDash is a for profit company, they won't take a loss on anything so remember that if you decide to give away your money.
Hi Mark,
Thanks for your review, I'm sorry to hear that there's been a misunderstanding. I'd be happy to explain how our beginner auctions work.
When a user signs up, they'll be able to see beginner auctions. These auctions can't be accessed by more experienced users. Beginner auctions can enter these auctions in order to familiarize with how DealDash works before stepping up against tougher competition. Each new bidder is allowed to win a maximum of 4 beginner auctions, and won't be able to see any more after that.
I can assure you that there are no fake bidders on DealDash. Every bidder is a real person, and we get proactively audited in order to prove so.
Hope this helps.
Please let me know if you need anything else. I'll be happy to help.
Have a great day.
Best,
Adrian

I purchased lots of bids for 10 cents in 2015. Then everything went bad. Not enough gift cards now. They add bids to the cards value. Items sold are no name brands. Use to get gift cards maybe 5 per hour if lost bidding wars got my money back. Now it seems 5 per week. I make more $ off bank interest then buying a gift card from dealdash

Not pleased w the site. Spend way to many hours trying to win something is ok BUT to be in the bidding from the first penny spent and watch every single name come across and after it gets to a point where no new bidders can join. You start to see new names pop up that NEVER bid before... Not for me to loose money like that. This was from my first bid and not happy w how this works. Seems more of a STEAL than a DEAL..
Hi Jay. We don't allow new bidders after the auction is closed to new bidders. What may have happened in this case is that some users only bid in the beginning of the auction and then stop bidding until after the No New Bidder limit is reached. This might make it seem like they were jumping into the auction, when in fact they had already placed their first bid before the limit. On the auction page, you can hover your mouse over the avatars to see when each user placed their first bid. If using the DealDash app, the 'Other Bidders' tab displays this information.
If you have any further questions, our toll free number is available 24/7: 855 455 3325
Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
Hi Jaycee! Thank you for your review. We're very sorry to hear that your unsatisfied with your experience. We highly value your feedback and are eager to address your concerns. Please feel free to reach out to us at support@dealdash.com so we can assist further. As well, kindly note that we have a Buy It Now option on all our auctions. If you don't win, you can buy the same item for its regular price and get all the bids you used in that auction back. This is why we highly recommend that users bid only on items they like so that they can always choose the Buy it Now and never have to walk away empty-handed. We also have a 100% Money Back guarantee on your first purchase of bids if you're unhappy with our service. We look forward to hearing from you so we can address your concerns directly!
