This software is outdated and is not what we expect as a user friendly experience.
It is a very huge boat, haven´t seen everything so far.
But it looks great!
No complaints at all. The products were worth it and the advertising was spot on.
I think a lot of the reviews here are from the inexperienced who are unhappy about their lack of intuitiveness when it comes to using DAZ and its products. I personally do not use Studio. I'm not very comfortable with the interface and do indeed find it hard to put and find products in the library. But I have always believed that has more to do with me than DAZ's program.
The fact is novices and professionals around the globe are both turning out amazing works for everything from movies to graphic novels. I'm simply one of the many who can't. But I have created very basic scenes in Studio. (The software comes with a nice library of products so I'm not sure why there are complaints about having to spend money to use it out the box.) It renders fast and provides a range of options for lighting, camera operation and more.
I'm a Poser user. This is the platform DAZ chose to support for years. My inventory contains thousands of dollars worth of DAZ products. I rarely visit DAZ these days because they are all-Studio all the time. Since I don't use DAZ Studio, I can no longer use their products. But, unless their policies have changed dramatically, I have always found their support incredible. My association with them lasted well over a decade and I never had an issue that wasn't resolved to my satisfaction. Support was always quick to find a way to solve my problem quickly. Never had a ticket that wasn't resolved within a business day or two.
But those were my experiences. I certainly know of many stories about consumer unhappiness with DAZ. Their forums are filled with people that want to help though. They're an argumentative, supportive bunch, but they love DAZ and will try to walk you through any problems. And veiled threats aside, you can't blame DAZ for trying to protect its reputation. Would you sit back and let someone bad mouth your services -- on your own site?!?
I'm a professional writer and 3D hobbyist. I love Poser and, while I no longer purchase their products, still have a great respect for DAZ. I've been paid to write several reviews by third-parties who had no idea about my history with the company. Going back to see what they're doing still impresses the hell outta me. If I could figure out how to use Studio, I know I'd be having a great time with Genesis and some of Stonemason's new stuff.
I'm sorry so many of you seem to see DAZ as some sort of scam or hustler. I think that's as far from the truth as it gets.
Very difficult to sign up. I am a long time former member, but I have a new computer (windows 11)
Been with DAZ since the beginning! You are the best.
Love the products but the actual program needs a lot of work on it.
Found great things to download and was able to quickly install them after purchase.
I did just miss a sale by I think 10 minutes, that was upsetting
I would like more sub sections to find backgrounds and scenes
Manage to get great savings on quality products. Very easy to download/install and use.
Never had a problem with my orders and love the quality of the items!
Everything is ok. DAZ is cool to make 3D easily, and it's not expensive.
I cannot think of anything I would improve, so that's a very good thing.
Was surprised that two of the items did not qualify for the 25% discount.
All at the Best - Thanks. Will continue to order as soon as I can.
Was a fun experience with the sale. Was great and lots to choose from

Answer: You get 3 free transfers then there is a cost to upgrade to unlimited. I found a much better program FaceGen Artist Pro. It's pricey at $139 but gives much better results than the built in face transfer.
Answer: Daz has a free transfer program on their website for blender, maya and many more. Works good!
Answer: No, Daz Studio does animation. You will render your animation series.
Answer: Daz3D will not read those files, as they are just text. However, the files can be "rendered" as an image, for use within Daz3D. Or, if you are asking about the other side of things, Daz3D can render images or video, which can be used along with your presentations. Both of those formats you mention, do not normally include "video formats". Neither of them are "image formats". PDF is just a text layout format for printing pages. MS-Word is just a text-formatting program, for use with printing too, for direct display in MS-Word, or on printed paper. However, it can export in other formats. (Not to be confused with "Word pad".) If you can put the words on an image, in any form, they can be used within Daz3D, for display. However, Daz does not have any form of "text-rendering code", to convert text into 3D objects.
Answer: When you register with the website, you will be given a code that is entered for you. If that fails, for whatever reason, you can go to your profile page and locate all "license codes", used to activate all the free items which may need them. (Or the paid programs, if you buy them.)
Daz3D has a rating of 3.6 stars from 1,447 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with Daz3D most frequently mention good experience, customer service and high quality. Daz3D ranks 2nd among Graphic Design sites.
