The site works well; but the coupon discount system is a mystery which may never be explained.
Not much to say. The site had products on sale that I wanted and the website cooperated.
I hope you can send me some coupons, I buy a lot of items from your company
With a wide variety of content, many promotions, very accessible to the public and easy to learn
Daz 3D is a really fantastic tool, that has really pushed my skills to the next level.
Mostly great - an install issue with a pose pack and the downloads are sometimes a bit slow.
Website working better than ever and always love Daz even when Daz was Zygote been many years now
Still have the ole Zygote CD
Not sure why all the negative reviews, software is free and kicks butt if you have basic knowledge of computers and graphics software. No company technical support because Hey! It's free!. Lots of add-ons and a large product base. I have been using about 10 years mainly for medical visualization. Now I am building some simply games and visual effects with my videos. My toolbox contains Daz Studio, Blender, Unreal Engine, iClone, Photoshop and After effects. And Bridges between different applications. Current hardware is behind the times but what I can afford these days as I am retired. DELL Precision T3610 XEON 6 Core 12 threads@ 3.5 Ghz 128 GB DDR-3 Ram Samsung 1TB SSD Hitachi 2TB Hard Drive NVIDIA Titan RTX 24gb Video. 650 watt Pwr Supply. My workflow is kinda hap-hazard as I move around from app to app importing and exporting to get what I like, I'm sure I am not doing it right but works for me. I build most of my characters from scratch and sometimes use face gen. I am a photographer so I create a lot of HDRIs. I know my work is amateurish but I'm having a good time.
"Only 46 more characters to make your standard review into a featured review" - LOL, since when does Daz3d has *any* sort of reviews?
First off, the programme installs wherever it pleases, but it's possible to relocate it after the fact. Once you get into the programme and figure out how.
Daz Studio can't seem to consistently connect to its Content Manager, but after spending ten hours on the forum, and uninstalling and reinstalling the software half a dozen times, you'll find a solution.
Sometimes DS loads quickly, and sometimes it will spend half an hour first connecting to, then updating, its Content Manager. Other times it will just get stuck while updating the CM, and you'll have to kill the program, in which case its database will be damaged, and the next time it loads it will take foreffingever to rebuild it. In this case, it's easier to uninstall the CMS and reinstall it.
Sometimes the Install Manager will just disappear in the middle of downloading content. Sometimes it doesn't load at all, although in both cases it ill appear in Windows' Task Manager. Don't be fooled, though: it's not still downloading your files in the background. This would be odd behaviour, but still useful.
If you're lucky, you can find solutions to all these problems (and more!) online, whether in the forum or elsewhere, but you'll never find help from anyone who produces or sells the software, because while the *content* costs money, the software is free, and frankly they can't be bothered to support it.
Daz Studio seemed like a good idea, and i was even prepared to pay for the content. But after a week of trying to fix someone else's sloppy programming and incompetant implementation, i'm moving on. The only real disappointment here is that i don't have something physical to break in half, or crumple up and throw across the room into the trash bin, or carry outside to the parking lot and set on fire. After all my wasted time on Daz Studio (4.12), being able to physically destroy it would have been very satisfying.
A wonderful experience, as always. I love all the content I purchase. Excellent holiday sale, too!
I love everything I get from Daz. It has really been a joy creating art with everything I've purchased.
Daz has always been great to work with. I've been a customer for probably 21 years.

Most is great. Beside render. We need more powerful render. More reality render. Like Anorl render engine.
Spent far too much money - but when Daz+ Sale is on what is one to do?
Easy-to-use software, excellent content created by some very talented people.

Daz makes getting into 3D modeling easier and the shop for the most part has really good products.
Used DAZ3D for years now, i dont buy elsewheres. Why go to any secondary store when D3D has all you could ever need..
All good, always lots of good quality products, the word is kept on refund policy.
Like the software and the free skins. Thanks is great way for beginners to start.
Answer: You get 3 free transfers then there is a cost to upgrade to unlimited. I found a much better program FaceGen Artist Pro. It's pricey at $139 but gives much better results than the built in face transfer.
Answer: Daz has a free transfer program on their website for blender, maya and many more. Works good!
Answer: No, Daz Studio does animation. You will render your animation series.
Answer: Daz3D will not read those files, as they are just text. However, the files can be "rendered" as an image, for use within Daz3D. Or, if you are asking about the other side of things, Daz3D can render images or video, which can be used along with your presentations. Both of those formats you mention, do not normally include "video formats". Neither of them are "image formats". PDF is just a text layout format for printing pages. MS-Word is just a text-formatting program, for use with printing too, for direct display in MS-Word, or on printed paper. However, it can export in other formats. (Not to be confused with "Word pad".) If you can put the words on an image, in any form, they can be used within Daz3D, for display. However, Daz does not have any form of "text-rendering code", to convert text into 3D objects.
Answer: When you register with the website, you will be given a code that is entered for you. If that fails, for whatever reason, you can go to your profile page and locate all "license codes", used to activate all the free items which may need them. (Or the paid programs, if you buy them.)
Daz3D has a rating of 3.6 stars from 1,447 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with Daz3D most frequently mention good experience, customer service and high quality. Daz3D ranks 2nd among Graphic Design sites.
