More and more often, the Daz+ freebies are not showing up in Daz Central at all. I'm also encountering more and more items that do not work properly, or are not as advertised.
For the most part it was a pleasant experience though i noticed that it looks like i could potentially double buy the same product if i purchased the product in a separate bundle
I had bought this plug in well over a year ago and for some reason, when I had to replace my computer and re-install all my apps, I no longer had this plug in. So, I had to buy it all over again.
It works but some of the content has not been maintained or moved with the technology. I understand that the price is reasonable but the technology is still not a whole workflow
Just wish most if the Gen 1 and 2 with anatomical features was on the free giveaway, since most content is just for Gen 8 now. Love the render engine and features, really love the store.
Pro Character Bundles, in general, contain the Starter Character Bundle of the same name. It would be very helpful to my shopping experience if those Starter Bundles were marked as purchased as part of the Pro Bundle purchase.
The same would hold true if I own all of the products in a Staff Pick Bundle, if I already own all of the contents of that bundle, it would be nice if it was treated as purchased when I am shopping.
A few terrific vendors. A few who are not terrific. It would be nice to be able to see some uncovered (nude) models, but we can't have kids seeing the stuff.
I had to use the debugger in Chrome to find the option I needed to place this order. The option to purchase Daz+ kept being overwritten by other page content, making it very hard to re-subscribe!
I've been a long time customer. I've always been impressed by the product selection, professional layout of the site, the sales, and the general shopping experience.
Your storefront advertises the DAZ Bridges as the way to use your content in other programs. THEY DO NOT WORK. Morphs don't export, joints aren't oriented, weighting is messy, they do NOT work as you advertise them and the teams working on them have disappeared again!
I live in Japan and create models of Japanese anime characters, and Daz's models are high performance and very easy to use. I will continue to make use of them.
I appreciate the fact that, when buying a figure at the same time as renewing my annual membership, I already got the membership discount on the figure I was buying simultaneously. Well-done!
You have an option to UN-select all purchased items. I think it would be most useful to add an option which selects only all purchased items.
Thank you.
Very easy to search for the content I'm looking for, very easy to purchase and download, very easy to install and use. Don't change anything -- seriously, it's working fine, so don't mess with it.
After years of collecting well over 10,000 DAZ models I have yet to have an issue that wasn't promptly and satisfactorily handled by your people!
A blessed and Merry Christmas to you all.
Unfortunately, still no reliable way to hide products that I have already purchased, especially if they are / were part of a bundle. >8(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
As a customer who has been buying from DAZ for a very long time, I very often feel not really appreciated.
"Weekly Freebies" are rarely of interest to me, as I already own these products, or they are from categories that do not interest me.
>8(((((((((
Discounts / Coupons I cannot use because I already own these products or other conditions prevent it. >8(((((((
The "Platinum Club" - or meanwhile "DAZ+" - is also becoming less and less interesting.
All too often the Monthly Coupon and even more rarely the Monthly PA Coupon are of use to me. >8(((((((((((((((
Bundles are, from my perspective, often put together senselessly.
Coupons and discounts rarely are clearly described / explained.
Say: Too often I do not understand with which deductions I can really count.
Some actions (Flash Sales) run at times that obviously do not consider that the DAZ Shop is available worldwide and that there are highly different TIME ZONES. >8(((((
The general experience is good and the site/marketplace is easy enough to navigate and more and the assets and selection available are unmatched out there and the pricing is decent.
Near perfect. I hope in the future i can search products with interactive licenses. Then i can find all the products with the search words and interactive licenses.
So far my experience with DAZ 3D has been awesome. I am able to search for what I need quickly, and I love that there is always a sale going on so I can buy items at a discount.
Answer: You get 3 free transfers then there is a cost to upgrade to unlimited. I found a much better program FaceGen Artist Pro. It's pricey at $139 but gives much better results than the built in face transfer.
Answer: Daz has a free transfer program on their website for blender, maya and many more. Works good!
Answer: No, Daz Studio does animation. You will render your animation series.
Answer: Daz3D will not read those files, as they are just text. However, the files can be "rendered" as an image, for use within Daz3D. Or, if you are asking about the other side of things, Daz3D can render images or video, which can be used along with your presentations. Both of those formats you mention, do not normally include "video formats". Neither of them are "image formats". PDF is just a text layout format for printing pages. MS-Word is just a text-formatting program, for use with printing too, for direct display in MS-Word, or on printed paper. However, it can export in other formats. (Not to be confused with "Word pad".) If you can put the words on an image, in any form, they can be used within Daz3D, for display. However, Daz does not have any form of "text-rendering code", to convert text into 3D objects.
Answer: When you register with the website, you will be given a code that is entered for you. If that fails, for whatever reason, you can go to your profile page and locate all "license codes", used to activate all the free items which may need them. (Or the paid programs, if you buy them.)
Daz3D has a rating of 3.6 stars from 1,447 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. Reviewers satisfied with Daz3D most frequently mention good experience, customer service and high quality. Daz3D ranks 2nd among Graphic Design sites.
