Crackle bites I hate the sign in part $#*! this $#*! why is this happening to me $#*! you crackle you suck
I put a show on that originally aired over 30 years ago, not some new "premium" programming, and these jokes served me literally 6 long adverts, all for reeses peanut butter cups, before Id even gotten thru the intro to the show. Literally 2 minutes in and they served a crazy number of adsverts. Get real. Im not watching this crap. I could see 1-2 adverts, but 6? Give me a god damn break...
Even though I have high-speed Internet, I'm spending more time waiting while it's freezing/buffering than I do actually watching the video! I have to exit Crackle, then go back to my main home page and open Crackle again, which sometimes will start playing the video... but not always! Too much of a hassle to watch Crackle.
It's great to have a free option but they play waaaaaay too many commercials. It ruins the suspense of the shows and defeats the purpose of watching a show/movie anyway. The same commercials play over and over making me NOT want to use the services that are being advertised anyway. Oh and at least a third of the commercials are for Crackle itself. Umm, I am already watching you. What are you gaining from interrupting my show to tell me about you other than pissing me off?
Tip for consumers:
Get ready for commercials. Lots of them. Even for the site itself.
Comcast says watch Crackle_ I-d love to except the constant frozen screen no matter what movie I watch makes it useless!
Have watched a couple of good movies on Crackle. However, there are too many commercials which are way too long; no option to skip over them after 15 to 30 to 60 seconds; and they are insanely LOUD! Deleted this app once and decided to try it again. Now remember why I deleted it in the first place.
The ridiculously extensive and repetitive ads that go on for 4 minutes over and over and over again during a 20-minute broadcast make viewing virtually unbearable.
I can't even imagine what it would be like to try to get through a movie when I can barely tolerate getting through 20-minute show.
Well I appreciate the fact that Crackle is bringing us some oldies that are very much loved with only us having to pay by being subject to these repetitive ads for crazy things like anti-diabetic medication anti-diarrhea medication, RAM Man trucks, and a couple of strange commercials thrown in the middle that I cannot figure out to save my life what they're even for, I simply can't sit through it anymore. It's WAY too much.
I would gladly pay a nominal fee to watch some programming. Sitting through the never ending ads actually makes me despise the company's that advertise. I HATE Ram trucks now I never even thought about them before! I hope to God I never get diabetes because I would never take that crazy stuff that they're advertising over and over and over again with people running through fields and jumping around on elevators and through lobbies and ponds and creeks and forests singing about how wonderfully that they can produce insulin and disperse it because of this wonderful drug. It goes on longer than a Led Zeppelin uncut original, which would be quite welcome and often need it after sitting through the crazy commercials during a 20-minute episode of a program. The viewer will likely also require the anesthetics that went along with the great music of the Zeppelin era.
I would swear I've used the Crackle app before without having so many interruptions that lasted so long but maybe I'm thinking of something else.
Thanks for trying, Crackle
Crackle is putting out commercials that are way too loud, based on the insane idea that people will buy from loud ads, instead, i change chanels. And watch pluto tv
Crackle has a good way to find the British content I was looking for but really - muting isn't enough. They show the same commercials over, and over, and over. Then if you try to go back a little because you missed something, it snaps back to start a series of commercials all over again. Tubi, you can't find anything on and there are no descriptions or categories detailed enough to help, but if you can find what you want by title then the viewing and ad experience is far superior. Tubi treats you like a human being. No human being could tolerate Crackle's viewing experience for long. You really have to be committed to the content you are watching or you are suicide material before long. I promise you one thing. I will NEVER GET A CAR LOAN THROUGH CAPITOL ONE or anything else from them for that matter. Any company hiring whoever brought the ad agency in to do that commercial and then approved it isn't smart enough to manage my money or my loans.
Tip for consumers:
Demand they have more variety and shorter commercials. I am not used to watching commercials at all anyway but these three over and over again will drive you nuts very quickly.

Crackle is a free internet movie and TV streaming service with commercials to offset the free access, just really especially annoying ad policies that are horrible compared to the free streaming service Tubi, in my opinion. But they have an really good set up for finding the content you are looking for which Tubi does NOT.
I like the movies on Crakle, and even don't mind the commercials. But there are so many transmission problems I get aggreated and go to something else. I often have to exit the app and restart the app and whatever movie I was watching. I seldome get to see a movie all the way through.
Crackle asking every time about my ad experience.
Has got to stop!
I have chosen every time and they keep asking.
If I have told you once, I have told you a 1000 times!
Stop asking!
My title says it all. I just started watching it in every 5 seconds I'm getting forced to watch a commercial while I'm just making my way around the menus. That is beyond annoying and unacceptable. I can't even read the movie descriptions because I get a commercial jammed up by but every 10 seconds and then when you go back to the menu it replays the same preview over and over again till I had to mute the television I finally got so frustrated I just left
So, I'm watching the fifth episode of the second season of Hell's Kitchen. I pause it to go hop in the shower. Next thing you know, after I got out of the shower, the video unpauses by itself after being paused for too long. I had to rewind the damn video all the way to where I paused at. Don't ever use the app unless you want the video to unpause while you are not around. Not to mention that this app has so many ads playing in the middle of the program (sometimes it would even play the same ones at least three times).
I used to like Crackle, but it's horrible now. Don't tell me to not complain about ads when the site craps out constantly and when you reload or rewind, they just keep showing you ads over and over. Just don't! No.
I love crackle... it crashes every show, every movie, just once tho... still a great app... plz plz make more chosen episodes, I was hooked instantly, watched all three seasons in one day... I need more episodes before I pull my hair out... I'm a 32 yr old crippled man, chosen was all that kept me going last two days... but all jokes aside, plz release a new season soon
I don't mind the commercials, however; when selecting ounly the one commercial option the volume is overbearing and obnoxious to almost double the initial show volume.
I don't mind watching advertising for free content, but when the movie audio is off from the video, or the video simply just won't load because "there was an error loading this video", then it is useless. I have a very good connection and plenty of download speed to handle streaming and also have no issues with other streaming providers I use... ie: playstation vue, netflix, youtube, ect. I have also tried several times to use the service with the same results. Needs a lot of work. As I said before in the title, I have not been able to watch a whole movie yet.
Used to be good Shows episodes, then doesn't finish them in the series Way too choppy now. Stops every few seconds. Hasn't figured out that web browsers are moving away from flash. Has become unusable. If they don't want to maintain it, take it down. What good is a free site if you can't use it?
When it was just Crackle I didn't have many problems with it. Now, everytime I
Want to watch something I get a playback issue code 3104 and the movie will not start.
Not much good to me now. I tried to find out what this code is and how to fix it but no
Luck.
Crackle was a channel I'd go to occasionally on roku. When I started streaming Netflix on my smartphone I thought 'y not add crackle to change things up from time to time?' - think again. I start watching movies fine then after the second or third commercial it jumps back to a previous point in the movie. Commercials I'm fine with as that's the deal but y don't they just fix this issue they're clearly aware of as others have complained about it online. Do the advertisers know it's happening? I hope not.
It sucks
Why can you never get it right? If its not poor quality viewing( & not the content, whats on screen) it's pictures & no sound, vice versa, repeated shows, frozen screen or like today No Show at all? Why?
Wow - that was almost painful - Choppy ALL the way through my first movie. I didn't even mention the commercials since Free always costs something.
Crackle has some good movies, but every 10mins they have about 3mins of commercials. So, if you are desperate enough to put up with the commercials, you can find movies worth watching. I'm not that desperate (usually).
Crackle actually has a few good shows. However, I'm forced to watch the same 2-3 commercials over and over. It's hard to understand why they don't offer a premium service like Hulu. They've $#*! the bed on this one...
I love the Larry Sanders Show, a TV program (originally aired on HBO) about a late night TV program. The episode I just watched starts with 90 seconds of ads, the most annoying being a Red Cross ad, which is too bad because the ad starts to make the RC seem annoying. The ad is just too long. Then it repeats a number of times throughout the episode. Also, ads are not placed in a logical manner. If ads were spaced as they are on most broadcast TV shows then Crackle would be fine. But they are not. They intrude and turn a viewer against the product being advertised. Do advertisers know this? I can't watch Crackle because of this. Too bad.
To me I would give it a 5 I haven't had no problems with the content on my PlayStation 4 with crackle only problem I have too many commercials seems like every 2 to 5 minutes I mean I don't mind a commercial but not that many
