We ordered and paid for a product they said they had. They called. They didn't have it but had one "that would work" We recieved it. It didn't work. We called. They needed to do research. We needed another $300 part for it to work. Mind you We have allready spent $800 at this point. I said I'd like my money back. My part was now only worth $59! (I believe I paid $129) and there is now a 20% restalking fee and...AND (!) I have to pay shipping. WTF. I will say he was pleasant to deal with. His diminer made me trust him. Dont fall for it.
I ordered a power supply and two weeks later I called due to no order status. I was informed that part was found defective and someone should have reached out and it would be 3 or 4 more days! It is now over 3 weeks and still no status. I can understand problems but not a lack of communications. First and last time I do business with them!
Terrible service of this company. Don't waste your money. They only want that you test his products but if it don't work you will pay for it. They can charge to you almost 30% of your original payment if you return the part because it simply doesn't work, regardless of the reason.
Be carefully and good luck if you work with them.
CPU Medics is an independant reseller of high quality replacement parts for all of my computer needs. They test all of the products prior to shipping to ensure they are in exceptional working condition as I don't have time for anything less.
The advertised the item's model number wrong, and sent me a part that I couldn't use. However, they still charged me shipping and restocking fee for the return. I will never do business with them again.
Ordered a Pentium III slot 1 100mhz bus cpu for 30 something bucks, they called me few days later and lied saying that the product they had wasn't functioning and they'd cancel and refund my order. Few days later, they list the item for 110 dollars. Would never ever do business with them again.
The customer service experience is amazing and the people know what there talking about. When my computer power supply failed for my dell computer I did not know the p/n or anything. When I called cpumedics.com they were able to get me the right part and shipped it to me right away. I will keep using them for all my computer needs!
cpumedics.com should be the last place you spend your money. Customer service is either non-existent or extremely horrible. Their online store is very confusing and their parts are a total waste of your hard earned cash. Skip cpumedics.com and save your money for a quality store with customer service.
I thought I was buying a battery replacement $99.00, for my Envy x360 laptop but all I got was lies and misleading information. The manager Adam R. Kept telling me it was shipped and I didn't need a refund. USPS said they never got anything from CPU Medics and the tracking label was just not true, there was NOTHING to track. I would recommend to anyone not to even think about doing business with this corrupt company.
I'm a senior procurement manager for an IT firm in Texas. I've been purchasing from CPU Medics for almost 3 years and have always had good experiences. John Velez and Adam Rudnick have always came through for me and got me what I needed. They have always made my orders a priority and I appreciate that very much. Thank you guys.
CPU Medics I have found to be quite underhanded. I had the misfortune of using CPU Medics to upgrade a CPU for a customer of mine. The CPU arrived with no anti-static packaging, obviously removed from the original packaging. I was told that they "test" before they send out their products. This only decreases the chances that a product will work properly, a lot of things can happen taking a cpu from its original packaging. Scratching to the CPU die, oils from fingers and the like. This also is a telling sign they don't trust their own supplier for quality.
I tried to return the CPU Because it was Dead on arrival. I was told that they "tested" the CPU before they sent it, so they wouldn't even replace it.
Their customer service accused me of overclocking, and a slew of other things. They absolutely do not care for their customers whatsoever steer clear of this site!
I placed an order for a hard drive. Never recieved an email confirmation and no one answers the phone when you call. They did however charge me promptly. Dont do it!
Had a cpu purchase question filled out their form never heard back
I will take my business elsewhere
BOUGHT A KEYBOARD. THEY SENT ME THE WRONG ONE! WOULD NOT DO A FULL REFUND! THEN BENT THE KEYBOARD SO THEY WOULDN'T HAVE TO GIVE ME ANY REFUND! CROOKS!
