As someone that used to work herev STAY FAR AWAY!
There business is a joke, the products are cheap and they rip people off when it comes to returns. Save yourself the frustration with dealing with a customer service reps who could care less about the customer.
Even though this website is well made, the owners are as crooked as they come. SHOP ANOTHER SITE WITH BETTER QUALITY PRODUCTS!
Returned gloves the very day they arrived. A month later, the credit still has not been issued. They say up to 30 days for a refund, but don't even respond to my queries. This is a do-not-shop-here retailer for sure.
I ordered a heated vest for Christmas. The vest arrived but the battery did not work. Took a few phone calls but finally got it replaced. The vest was given as a gift but was too big. Tried to get it replaced but not available. I returned the vest for a refund. Did not receive refund for orginal shipping charges and I did not receive refund for return shipping charges. Waited 6 weeks for my partial refund. Also I was informed that to exchange an item it would take three months. Christmas gifts can not wait three months to replace. I will not shop through this site in the future and if you do BEWARE!
My husband ordered 3 items for Christmas on 12/8. The thermal insoles didn't fit my boots. I requested a RMA on 1/13 & was informed my deadline was 1/8. Now I will have a store credit at a website I would prefer never to shop at again.
The only reason I gave them a 2 is because the boot/glove dryer works.
Customer service is terrible. I sent an email to Filly, owner, and never received a response. Tyler was unable & unwilling to work with me.
Buyers beware!
I ordered a heated vest/jacket for my 90 year old father in law. I ordered early to ensure it would be here for his party. Needless to say, we gave it to him, he opened it, followed the directions... and it didn't work, and since I ordered it early, we were over our 30 days. They blamed it on a faulty controller. They sent another controller out... and it still didn't work. So we paid to priority mail it back, so they could " rush" it through warranty check to have it back by Christmas. Well it sat and sat until we contacted them, THEN they informed us it was bad wiring, the jacket we ordered was no longer in stock and we could choose another style. We chose another style, low and behold it finally arrived today AND IT'S NOT WORKING. They do claim that as I requested, it was tested before shipping and it worked so they can't imagine what happened.
Upon contacting customer service, they were going to have someone from their technical department contact us when they got back from lunch. Needless to say, no call back and we had to contact them again. Allison first told us it must be the controller AGAIN, when we told her we wanted another overnighted, we were put on hold for a long period, and when she came back she told us to charge it overnight and if there are still problems to call back Monday.
We finally were transferred to Justin, who stated it wouldn't be the charger, and he would get a new controller out, IF POSSIBLE, for Monday or Tuesday delivery. We are still waiting for a call back from him to verify this.
Several years ago I ordered from them without issue, I WAS a repeat customer, I can guarantee that will not happen again after the faulty product and lack of customer service I have encountered since November.
Looks like I had the same experience many others are having. I ordered a pair of heated gloves as a Christmas gift for another person. The gloves were WAY small for a Medium. I contacted Cozy Winters--my contact was four days past their 30 day return policy, though in fact, with shipping, I had not even had the gloves 30 days. And, I just wanted to EXCHANGE them for the larger size. I was told I would have to pay a $20 "restocking fee". I would also have to pay what it cost them to ship the original gloves to me! Original shipping was free. Also, I would only be granted a store credit. I was astonished. We do a lot of internet shopping, and I have NEVER encountered such ridiculous restrictions on an exchange. I asked what exactly the bottom line credit would be, and so far, have not even had a reply.
Bad company. Be smart and shop elsewhere. Lots of much better shopping choices are out there. I truly wish I had checked review websites before ordering at Cozy Winters as my problem with them seems rampant. The majority of internet companies want their customers to be happy with the products they purchase, and you see this in their return and exchange policies. This does not seem the case with Cozy Winters. They have barriers in place to keep all purchases final--even regarding a simple exchange.
One month after I bought my heated gloves the left glove stopped working mid commute. They also don't provide any warmth below 30 degrees, anything above they do fine but nothing a regular $50 gloves can't do. Hopefully the manufacture will replace the bad glove where I'll be selling them as soon as I get this resolved.
These gloves are made with amazing quality and are exceptionally comfortable. They keep my hands warm and cozy throughout the day. I cannot go a day of cool weather without using them. I am in love with these gloves. Great product CozyWinters.com!
CozyWinters.com has really helped solve my snow removal problems. This winter my wife and I will have a much easier time with removing the snow from our walkway. She is really happy about this! It will save so much time removing the snow that we will even have time to make a few snowmen together.
The services offered by cozywinters.com were quick and more than satisfactory. There was a minor issue with a product that I purchased from cozywinters.com. I contacted their customer service by email and my issue was resolved within a day. It was nice that I did not have to repeatedly email or call them to get my issue resolved, unlike other sites that I’ve purchased from. Only one email did it for me. As soon as they received my email, they responded and sorted out my issue quickly. I am very satisfied with the services they offer.
1. I travel a lot in the winter and purchased a pair of Gripons ice spikes from cozywinters.com. Like everyone else, even I was a little worried while I chose to buy a product online. But believe me, I am more than satisfied for the quality they offer. It has been a year or more since I purchased this product from cozywinters.com and I have not had any issues with it yet. The size of the Gripons that I bought fits perfectly on my shoes. And in addition I did not have to struggle with replacing the spikes either, as I was able to purchase replacement spikes from the same site for only $4.95. Based on my experience shopping online from cozywinters.com, I would be glad to suggest this site.
I purchased the WarmGear battery-powered heated gloves. They were very useful for the 1st year I had them. Then, shortly into year2 (just after the 1 year warranty expired), the right glove stopped functioning (blinking yellow light and fails to turn-on). At this point CozyWinters agreed to take the glove back on a warranty repair with the warning that this would take up to 30 days upon them receiving the glove. I sent both gloves to them (they wanted both) and expected to hear something back *within* 30 days. However, when I heard nothing for ~20 days, I called back to inquire and was told in a very sassy manner that they the repair would be done at 30 days. I got the same story when I called back at day 29... repair work had not started but the glove would be ready on day 30. Sure enough when I called on day 30, the "repair" was done and the gloves were being shipped back to me.
When I received the shipment, there was a brand new, functioning right hand glove along with the original left hand glove. However, when I went to use them, the left hand glove was NOW not working with the same symptoms that the right hand glove had.
When I called back to ask for warranty service on this glove, they said tough luck... the warranty is expired.
So, if you're okay with you gloves failing just after the warranty period and not having any good recourse, these gloves are for you.
In December my wife ordered a pair of heated gloves for me from Cozy Winters. However, when the gloves arrived we discovered that they were too small (we had underestimated the glove size that I would need) and we shipped them back. When a larger set of gloves had not arrived after a couple of weeks we contacted Cozy Winters and were informed that according to their policy they had 30 days to send another pair. Their policy about exchanging an item says that it has to be returned to them within 30 days. The policy about refunds says that Cozy Winters will normally be issued within 30 days of receipt. The policy about exchanges says that items for exchange are subject to the same criteria as items for refund but we are not asking for a refund of the money. Furthermore, although the web site says “Canadian Orders Welcomed” but we are told that we will have to pay a second shipping fee. I could find nothing about a second shipping fee for an exchanged item on the web site.
I'm giving NO stars. The Cozy Winters website advertised a towel warmer for $99.95 on the home page after a link from Google. When I went to the towel warmer section there was nothing for $99.95 and the model advertised was 149.95, so I called and asked them if they would honor the advertised price. The service rep- who was very nice and cleary embarassed- said that the sales staff told him to tell me that they would not. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he said they don't take calls, only email. I will never purchase from Cozy Winters. Many sites including amazon and home depot have the same prices and the same merchandise.
Ordered Warm Gear battery heated gloves for my wife who suffers from poor circulation. The gloves cost almost $200 and did not live up to their claims. I returned the gloves at my expense and was then charged $15.78 for the original "free" shipping. Gotta love the integrity of this company. They misrepresent a product and then make you eat the costs of return shipping (which I dont like, but can understand), but then they nail you for the initial "free" shipping.
I will never do business with them again as this paints a clear picture as to their business ethics. Cozy Winters obviously doesn't believe in the products they hype to the consumer. I would recommend staying away from them... far, far away.
Ordered a battery operated pair of gloves using the website sizing guide which measures the width of your hand. Received the gloves and they were too small length wise and the right hand glove was slightly defective in that when making a fist (or holding a ski pole) the power button dug into your nuckle. I contacted customer service and mentioned the sizing issue and defect issue. I was instructed to return the gloves and they would then send the next large size glove to me. I had to pay for return shipping even though the product was defective. I tracked the return of the product and 9 days after they received the gloves had to contact them again regarding when I would receive my replacement gloves. I received an e-mail saying I need to pay for shipping again before they would send me the replacement pair of gloves. The customer service member never mentioned having to pay for shipping my replacement gloves in our previous conversations. I asked for them to issue me a credit for the original cost of the gloves as I was not going to pay for shipping again when the originial product was defective and did not fit despite using their sizing chart. I was told they could issue me a credit less what the shipping charge for the original pair of gloves. I am now writing to the better business bureau and every websit that I can so others do not get taken by this company. I am amazed at the volume of negative comments that I have come across and wish I had read them before ordering with cozywinters.com.
I purchased heated gloves from Cozy "take your money" Winters.com. Paid 250 bucks. Customer Service, don't get me started about her. The product failed because they didn't give proper instructions (now they do) and I was told it was out of warrantee, even though it was their fault it didn't work and they admitted it. After writing to the management, they agreed to replace the battery. That was 2 month process and since winter ski season is over, we didn't get to use the product because of that this year. I should have read all the complaints about them before I bought anything from them. Hold onto your money because once they get it, it's gone.
I contacted Cozy Winters by email about a product problem. I was called and told to check with the manufacturer which had very good warrantee service and I did. After three attempts with the manufacturer to get a satisfactory product I gave up and called Cozy Winters to ask for a refund since the manufacturer told me I would have to get a refund from them. I was told my 30 day return period had expired and since I had used warrantee "service" I was not eligible for a refund. I was never told at the time of my initial complaint that if I went the warrantee "service" route that I could not then get a refund after 30 days.
Ordering steps are very miss-leading and you will not get the same product when you order it at different time. It seems they use different suppliers/manufacturers. Customer service is very argumentative and sleazy, to name a few. I will never buy anything from them.
Answer: Hello, Professional installation is recommended for this motorcycle seat cushion heater. You will need to open up the seat leather at the seams to install the heater underneath the first layer of leather. The product comes with installation instructions, but we definitely recommend using a professional to install. Thank you.
Answer: No rip off. We have been in this business for 14 years and eCommerce for 22 years. Big snow & Ice storms all weekend. All reps have been on the phone constant all day. We are getting to calls as quickly as we can. Everyone working overtime. What is your order number?

No one named May has ever worked at CozyWinters. I have worked at CozyWinters for more than 7 years. I have gotten to know all of the employees personally. No one that I know would have posted this. Everyone who works here knows that the owners and management have the highest integrity of anyone I have ever worked for, so I can only conclude that this is a FALSE statement from someone who has never worked at CozyWinters. Unfortunately anyone can post anything on this forum, whether it's true or not. It's up to the those reading it to decide if they want to believe this. One thing is true and can be fact checked accurately... CozyWinters has an A+ rating with the BBB and has been in business for many years and could not survive if they didn't sell quality products and stand behind those products.
