I ordered this back in October, 2020. I paid for the semi rush so that we would have it before thanksgiving. No where in the ordering process was it stated that order times would be longer due to covid. If it had, I would have made other plans. We purchased this house last June and I wanted to protect our north facing side door and small porch from northern Michigan wind and snow but I still needed the porch light to get out to the yard. Clear tarp, ok perfect plan.
1st delivery date came and went so I had to hit 'chat' for more info because I didn't have an order number to check on. 'Oh sorry covid and whatnot its in production' then I get a new delivery by date, which ends up being 'regular' delivery date. That day comes and goes. Still have to hit 'chat', get refunded expedited fee and new delivery date. By now we are in mid December. Delivery date cone and gone again. I want to cancel but am asked to please be patient until end of December and told I'm getting a storage container for it. Ok good because by now it's too late to put up. Now it's early January but at least I have an order number to check for myself. Oh now it says production has started. WTF? I had been told it was that back in November. It's only about a 9x7 foot tarp, not one to cover a house. Then I thought I was ordering from an American company making it in America. Shipping shows it came from the middle east or middle Europe. Finally makes it to me mid January. Where is it right now? Still rolled up in the round cardboard tube it came in because it's too cold and late to put up for this winter.
I should not have had to jump thru so many hoops on my end just to find out where my item was. They took my money fast enough but I think that the original pony express would have been faster.
Now the tarp is nice and thick as I needed, just no one wants to put it up in single digit weather.
Plus even tho the account is in my name, they keep addressing it as my son because I used his debit card. They would not change it when I asked them too many times.

Our support team did put in an expedite request each time you contacted us. All our covers are handmade; regrettably, due to inconstant circumstances we ended up with a unanticipated backlog in production and missed the promised dates. We are working hard to scale up our production capabilities and improve our turnaround time. While these efforts (which include building a new, much larger production unit) are in progress, we have also applied some solutions in the interim that have resulted in significant improvement over the last few weeks.
The location of our current production unit (India) is mentioned in our FAQ section as well as our Terms of Use.
The default name on automated order-related emails is the name entered in the billing information. The billing information on an order cannot be modified. However, we have updated the account to show your name. Any new orders placed with an alternate billing name will still have the automated emails addressing the billing name.
