They have always given me sound advice on purchases. Recommended items are were always reliable. Items with poor reliability were duds.
I have a 2020 Traverse and I hate it. If I could blow it up I would. The main issue is the transmission doesn't engage when I pull up to my driveway and want to back in. When I shift from drive to reverse there is a long delay. When I press the accelerator it slams into reverse and moves backwards. When coasting through an intersection at low speeds and then I need to accelerate it slams into gear to move. The engine idle is so low the transmission doesn't stay engauged. I have been to two dealers with it and they just say the idle was set at the factory and they can't change it. I wrote to customer service and the vice president of chevy and they did nothing. The engineers need to look closer at what they are doing. Other issues I have are the sun visors are too short. They need to be longer towards the center of the windshield. They are so short that they don't block out the sun near the center of the windshield. The visors are also recessed so deep into the head liner that you can't get your finger between the visor and the head liner to lower it. I had to stick a thick rubber bumper to the viser to leave a gap so I could get my finger in to lower it. There are pockets on the back of the front seats for storage. The pockets are so tight you can't get anything in them. Not even your hand. Chevy does not care about the customer after the sale. Once they have your money there is no customer service. There is a poster in the service departments at chevy that says IT SHOULD RUN AS GREAT AS IT LOOKS. Mine might look great but it runs like an old nag. I only hope that someone thinking about a Chevy reads this before signing the papers so they are not stuck with a 40,000 piece of junk.
I find it irritating that I have to pay for one of the apps when I subscribe to the magazine.
