The purpose of this review is to inform the public of my HORRIBLE moving experience with Relocation Nation Moving/GulfStream Van Lines and Jackson Movers because it was an Absolute Nightmare!

On Friday, March 3,2023, I selected Relocation Nation Moving (RNM)/GulfStream Van Lines a broker in Florida to transport my inventory and furniture from North Carolina to Maryland. The RNM customer representative I worked with was Shawn Williams. RNM then hired Jackson Movers (JM) to transport my furniture.

On March 9,2023, JM picked up my furniture from my home in Huntersville, North Carolina. There was an issue when they arrived because Jessica Smith from RNM did not send the updated inventory list to JM, and therefore I was charged an additional $1000.00 for the move. Shawn Williams at Relocation Nation Moving stated that the wait time to receive my furniture would only be 1-3 business days and he also stated my contract came with insurance but it did not. My furniture and inventory was held for 2 weeks until I received it on March 24,2023 in Camp Springs, MD. In addition, I had to buy clothes to wear valued up to $100.00 because of the 2-week delay in transporting my inventory and my own clothes were packed away so I could not access them.

When the furniture was finally delivered there was EXTENSIVE damage! It looked like my furniture was thrown around. There was deep scratches and deep marks/indentations on all the wood pieces as well as the wood on the corners of the furniture was broken off on many of the pieces. Also, some of my ceramic items and glassware were completely broken. My furniture is Thomasville, so it was very expensive and costly to get these pieces repaired. JM and RNM refused to pay for the damages and I had to pay about $2000+ for the damage to my furniture.

I would recommend to the public NEVER to use them because they are a rip-off and irresponsible. In addition, there are numerous complaints against them on this Better Business Bureau website.
