I strongly advise against using Compensair for flight compensation claims. My family of four experienced a canceled flight with British Airways this July, and after seeing Compensair's advertisement, we decided to use their service. Initially, things seemed fine—three of us received compensation within a month. However, one family member is still waiting for their payment six months later.

Despite countless attempts to contact Compensair, their responses have been vague and unhelpful. They claim the airline is treating our claims individually, even though we were all part of the same booking and faced the exact same flight cancellation. Their explanations don't add up, and it feels like they're just stalling.

To make matters worse, Compensair charges an outrageous 30% of the compensation as their fee, which is already excessive. Yet, they appear to be pocketing the compensation for the unpaid claim instead of passing it on. To me, this behavior is outright dishonest and unprofessional.

If you're lucky, they might process your claim properly. If you're unlucky, like us, you may never see your compensation. I'm now seeking legal help and plan to report them to the appropriate authorities. Save yourself the stress and avoid this scam of a company.

Do NOT use this company! They are scam artists that will steal 30% of YOUR refund! Go through the airline directly. I would never have used this website if I knew they would take that much. Crooks!

Good experience

My flight was delayed about 4 hours. First I tried with airline, then another agency, but only compensair accepted to deal with the case. They were always responsive whenever I had questions. It took about 2 months to get the payment, but I don't care for that time, as long as I've received the payment.

Took a long time to get the money back, cost a lot of extra time that I could have used to handle it myself.

I did get something back, which is why it's a two-star instead of a one-star rating.

They claim their service is easy to use and it saves time from doing it yourself, but the process was so I'll communicated, and (deliberately) stalled that I really would have save a lot of time and money to just do it myself. Their fee is high and they are not transparent about what exactly they receive back and what percentage of that they've charged.

I really would advise to either use another agent or to do it yourself! Using Compensair's services is truly a waste of time and money, and on top of all of that the communication is not friendly or transparent. Save yourself the headache

Travellers BEWARE! I'm really surprised that UK gov let this Russian company to operate (although stated operate outside Russia - Singapore & London offices). It's all misleading and I think my husband got the link when our BA flight was cancelled. In all panicking, my husband was trying to help by submitting a claim while I was doing it via BA website & Admiral (travel insurance). There's nothing stated clearly that (1) Submit compensation claim via your airline first (2) Compensair charge 30% fee even if the claim is being pursued independently by yourself directly with the airline

You better off submitting the claim directly with the airline and won't get charge for it. If the airline rejected your claim, it is very very unlikely Compensair can help you anyway. It's totally absurd that Compensair did nothing but requesting us to pay them 30% fee despite the claim was approved by BA directly against my direct submission to them and not via Compensair.

No problem and fast

No problem and fast. First i tried claim directly to aircompany, but wizzair refused... I sent request for Compensair, be cause ODR wrok only with EU resident. Was wierd one pax got money in couple month, but for child they did new claim with airline - and money for child pax got 4 month. They got commision 30%, but without Compensair i would got nothing...

Спустя ровно год после задержки рейса и обращения в службу наконец-то получили долгожданную выплату - 280€! Сложность заключалась ещё и в том, что рейс был задержан у человека, у которого личной банковской карты не рос. банка нет, но даже это удалось уладить и перевести деньги на другой счёт, тысяча благодарностей!

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Regret Using This Service I initiated a compensation claim through this company in January. While they were quick to deduct their 30% fee from the approved amount, I have yet to receive any payment—even after nearly six months. Each time I follow up, I'm told the matter is "with the financial department," with no clear timeline or resolution. The lack of transparency, accountability, and efficiency is incredibly frustrating. In hindsight, I deeply regret not filing the claim directly with the airline, where I likely would have received the full compensation in a much shorter timeframe. Unfortunately, this experience has been a complete waste of time, and I would not recommend this company to others.
