Coffee Fool

Ordered 3 bags of coffee. Only 1 arrived. I notified company to which they replied that yes in fact they had run out of the other blend and that I can have a refund or exchange to which I chose a cheaper coffee but let them "keep the change" so to speak... Never heard back from them after 11 attempts. They are crooks.

I ordered flavored coffee, Chocolate Cherry, and when opening I noticed it only had a faint aroma. Then when used in my drip coffee maker, it almost overflowed the filter! Not only was it obviously old, someone just put the wrong sticker on their 'fine grind' and sent it. For the prices they charge, buyer beware!

I don't know who the other reviewers on this page are talking about. I've been buying coffee from Coffee Fool for more than 5 years. It's the best coffee I've ever had and the customer service is exemplary. I have a standing order that arrives every month right on time. On the rare occasions I've had to interrupt my service it takes one email to the valet service and we skip that delivery and pick up the next month like it's automatic. These people are good. Thoroughly professional. I love Coffee Fool. If good coffee is important to you, nothing else will do. You gotta go with the Fool.

I have recently bought an espresso machine and I was struggling with what coffee (the one I bought from the store tasted like it was boiled for hours) to use with it. I emailed Coffee Fool and the questions they asked me (how do I like my coffee to taste, what's my coffee routine) helped me realize what I actually want and them recommend the right products. The Vienna I use now (the other two in the picture wait their turn) tastes smooth, balanced, not bitter nor burned like the one from the store. I now feel that I am using the machine to its full potential providing me with daily enjoyment.

For years I though I couldn't drink coffee without getting an upset stomach. I'd tried various "office" coffees, grocery store coffees, and coffee shop "gourmet" coffees and always ended up with the same upset stomach. I'd switched to tea.

We live in Salem Oregon and our son is in Seattle. He loves his coffee. He advised me to try CoffeeFool.com coffee. He said their fresh roasted coffee is as good or better than anything he can get in Seattle.

Bingo! No more upset stomach and the taste is wonderful. That was nine years ago. Since then I've become a fool for coffee my self. My wife loves it too. They have a single origin or a blend for almost any palate. Their organic coffee is wonderful as well.

Coffee Fool is really the best coffee service available. They're fast to respond to emails (not sure why other reviewers were having trouble, I've always gotten a response in a few hours) or if I need to adjust my recurring order, they're always right there. I joined their Valet program to get a recurring order and they make it so easy to adjust coffees, frequency, or even vary the coffees I receive in my order! On a recurring order they protect you from running out of coffee and keep you locked in at the best price possible. Nobody online anywhere has as many coffee options and grind options (including whole bean!) as these guys do. Every coffee is flavorful and extremely fresh. Nothing is burnt or bitter and all of their coffees are sourced ethically and fair trade. If you're a fool for coffee, be a Coffee Fool!

Many years ago I read the Coffee Fool claim that their coffee tasted better because they brewed small batches and therefore the coffee was fresh. I was skeptical but figured I would try some. I drink coffee black, so if it's not good there is no hiding. They were correct and I've been buying their coffee. My favorites are French Roast, wonderfully dark and rich but not burnt and Ethopian Yirecheffe, much more subtle and pleasant for an afternoon treat. My last order was for the new Cascara French Roast. It's good but I will probably go back to the plain French Roast. It's hard to improve on perfection.

I have been getting Coffee from the Fool since 2013 and never have looked back. My normal go to is the Nicaraguan Matagalpa, however, since I always drink my coffee black I normally grab a bag of Mocha Java as well for those who usually like a little sweetness. This last time I also treated myself to a bag of the Jamaica Blue Mountain, WOWZA! All of coffee fools line always tastes so fresh, I love getting whole bean because when I grind the beans it leaves my whole house smelling like coffee. Definitely get a bag of coffee from these guys. Maybe start with the House French so you have something to compare it too, I mean who hasn't had a French roast, if you just haven't had one from the Fool's as Mr. T would say "I Pity the fool".

After a happy 10 years with coffeefools I took a month off due to vacation. Now after 7 months of trying to get my order again monthly and only getting it twice I give up. Emails, calls to their provided number Crickets except them telling me I need to give them my CVC again. I used their website to add new credit card info again( same card) and crickets. Done done done. There are other places to buy cofffee.

Pros - a good location and a nice pleasant design of the hall, tasty coffee.
Minus - not tasty dishes (which we tried).
Service is not professional, but not bad.

Their coffee was so good. I love their coffee. And I recommended to drink their coffee.
Love their coffee. Sip it!
