With high Santa Anna winds our power was shutdown by SDG&E twice in 2 weeks, the first time we took all our food to our daughters, the second time my neighbor let us use his spare Champion 2k watt generator. It was the dual fuel version of what I bought this week. I went all the the way to Rancho Cucamonga to get this (Model #******* - I didn't need dual fuel). It starts easy and is quiet. It provides all we need to keep our fridge working, a light or two, charge our phones and will run the toaster or coffee maker (one at a time when needed). I did my research. Honda was way more expensive, Generac comparable but what sold me was my great experience with the dual fuel model, and the display that shows fuel level and power used, which nobody else has! So break-in is complete, oil changed... I'm ready SDG&E... bring it!

Ordered Portable Champion 5500. Wheels, wheel vibration mounts and handle were very easy to assemble. Heavy so the wheels are helpful on asphalt and cement, don't recommend trying to pull over gravel, they even tell you "not made for rough terrain"
Filled with gas and oil and she started right up and we had our generator humming in no time! Whole process took 30 minutes max from start to finish. I ordered this on line through Tractor Supply and it was delivered the same day! Awesome product and good to have in these uncertain times!

Purchased this to power home in case of power loss. 7500 watt dual fuel generator. Easy to start right out of the box after following a few simple instructions. Haven't used it much yet but the propane use makes it a real bargain. Don't have to worry about old gas or condensation in the fuel tank. Rate it a 5 based on minimum use. Purchased this from tractor supply and the service there was great.

We just bought a new champion generator because we lost our power for a couple of days. It saved a lot of money on not having to throw away a freezer and refrigerator full of food. I believe it will pay for it self in the future since we lose power a couple of times a year.
It was easy to assemble right out of the box. The unit was really packaged great and nothing damaged. I put the oil and gas in the unit. I followed the start up procedures and the blower started up on the first pull. I started blowing leaves and worked great. As I was blowing the leaves to the street, I could slow down the throttle and control the leaves from going to far. I am very impressed with this walk behind leaf blower. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
